If anyone could spare some Viz I would greatly appreciate. I am currently saving up to get the PS item. I have been trying to contribute with reviews and by posting and what not but it will still be a while before I can get said item. All my favorite RPG's are on the Playstation, hence my goal to purchase the system. Thank you again. |

I liked your comment that you can use the game to check and see if your PS2 works haha. I remember trying this game, and I really wanted to like it but the similarities between a few other games and the glitches really held it back for me. Good review. |

Sounds like one of those games you have to talk yourself into playing. Reminds me of Angry Video Game Nerd forcing himself to review. Anyways, thanks for the review. I thought it was decently done. Good job. |

I recently found out that Nintendo has announced the 2DS. The following information is found at http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/08/28/Nintendo-announces-2ds Nintendo announced the 2DS today, a new entry-level handheld system. The 2DS will be available in North America for $129.99 on October 12th (the same day as Pokémon X and Y) and features a slate-like design rather than the clamshell seen on DS and 3DS models. The 2DS will be available in UK/Europe (estimated £109.99) and Australia/NZ (AUD$149.95/NZD$179.95) on October 12th also. The 2DS is fully compatible with all 3DS and DS games but does not include the ability to display games in 3D. It still features all the functionality of 3DS (WiFi, local multiplayer, etc.) and can be put to “Imagine a standard 3DS laid all the way flat, and with the depth slider all the way down,” Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime explained to IGN. “Everything else is there in the system.” What do you guys think? I think that this is Nintendo's way of just trying to pull in more cash. There really isn't that much difference between the systems apart from the lack of 3D. They claim its so appeal to a younger crowd, saying that the 3ds is for 7 year olds and older. Having said that the lower price is nice if you can't afford a 3DS. The limit on the bag was one of the most obnoxious things about this game. I HATED THAT. The game itself truly is a classic. It was one of the things I loved when I found out about vizzed. I could play the classic Pokémon games without spending a ton of money. This game satisfied the nostalgia I really needed. Good job reviewing. |

The review was good, I also am a little unsure of what the difference between the story and storyline is / why they were rated differently. Having said that, I agree that this game rocks! I didn't give it a chance till recently thinking I don't want pikachu as my starter I love the originals! When I finally gave the game a chance I was way stoked to find out that the other starters were accessible. I missed out waiting so long to play it. |

Thanks for the review, again it was well done. I personally liked the "wii" joke. This game didn't quite do it for me, I found myself comparing it to Super Mario Bros 3 and Super Mario World. Had this been the first Mario I played it would have rated higher. I think that because I played those games in my childhood nothing will be able to compare. |

Goldeneye Goldeneye, the classic first person shooter. If you have never played this game you are truly missing out. This is one of the games that made the first person shooter genre what it is today. This a game that almost every gamer has played, and for good reason. I know that I have spent countless hours on the single player, not to mention the multi-player. The multi-player played a crucial role in this games success. Graphics - This graphics in this game are very well done, its easy to see details, and you can even shoot a variety of things in the background. At the time this game was released this game was about as good as it got. The first memory I have of this game is crawling through the vents in the Facility, and simply being amazed at what I was looking at. It was a big deal. Sound - The sound in this game is top notch. The music on EVERY level sounds great. I have even found myself humming some of the tunes on occasion. The sound impacts actual gameplay in numerous ways. For instance, let's say I am playing the Aztec temple. I start the game and go to shoot the guys in the first room. The first thing I hear is a grenade coming my way. Based on the sound, I can determine where the grenade was thrown and use it to make the guys run into the explosion. In multi-player you can hear things such as rockets being shot at you, so you know you need to dodge, mines being thrown on doors etc. You can listen for explosions, to know whether or not an area is safe, and judge how long the explosion will last from there. Try playing this game without sound, it makes it soooo much harder. Gameplay - The gameplay in this game is top notch. It is incredibly addicting. The variety of difficulties and the computers reaction to your shots makes every game unique. Its simple to control, aiming is easy, shooting is easy, switching guns is easy. Everything about controlling your character is easy. Once you have finished 00 Agent you can even modify how strong the guys are in-game modifying things such as reaction time and health. The objectives in each level are simple, its not hard to understand what you need to do, it can simply be challenging. So much so it can be infuriating. You don't know what challenging is until you try to beat the Aztec temple on 00 without cheats. I have only done it twice throughout the years. Multi-player This is my favorite part of the game. I have spent hours upon hours playing multi-player. Games like Halo and Call of Duty would not be where they are today if it wasn't for Goldeneye. There are few things that could be adding to improve it such as computer AI to multiplayer and custom weapon sets. You can change weapon premade weapon sets (they are pretty fair), and change characters (except Oddjob...cheaters...) The levels are very well done. The only one I have a problem with is the caves, because honestly, I just can't see whats going on. Levels like the complex, facility, and the temple have been replicated in other games (they are that good). It would be nice to be able to play on separate screens, but this technology was simply not available at this time. If you don't know the levels and are playing against someone who does, you are at a distinct disadvantage. Difficulty This game is HARD. Agent is simple, secret agent is ok, 00 is frustrating. The two difficult levels (for me) are Control and Aztec. I remember spending hours on these levels, only to beat them in adulthood. You have to learn strategies to pass them. I remember the anger I experienced as I was shot and killed while waiting for the rocket to launch to end the Aztec on 00. Replayability There is tons of replayability in this game. Everyone has their favorite levels that they play more then others (Facility, Frigate, and Train for me). Multi-player is always fun to do with a group. To this day, when I get together with my brothers this is one of the games we play. It NEVER gets old. Conclusion This game rocks, it is famous for a reason. If you haven't played this game do yourself a favor and try it. It lives up to the hype. Its a classic. You will thank yourself later. Goldeneye, the classic first person shooter. This review was very detailed. Good job, you definitely put a lot of work into it. Its good to read opinions that differ from mine to see others perspectives. I do like Sonic the hedgehog but the first game just never did much for me. I really missed the charged spin available in the other games. This resulted in Sonic the Hedgehog 2, 3, and Knuckles being games I really enjoyed (2 being my personal favorite). I really do like the music in all of these games. Maybe I should just give the original Sonic the Hedgehog another chance. I'll have to hit it up here on vizzed. |

Good review, I'll have to give this game a shot. I have always liked the Pokémon games. Why not throw some humor in there to make things interesting. I'll write it down on my to play list. |

Guerrilla War Introduction Ah, this game brings back so many memories from when I was a child. I have played and beat this game numerous times, and I know I will be back again. What makes me come back? It's fun and its simple. This game is a simple overhead view of a war. You play alongside the civilians, fighting for their freedom. You have access to two initial weapons, grenades and a gun. As you go along you can upgrade you guns (unfortunately you die in one hit and those upgrades are lost). You can also hop into tanks and decimate everything around you. It really is a simple game, worth playing. Graphics The graphics really are not bad considering the age it came out. You get the overhead view and there is a decent amount of detail. The game takes place in a variety of settings, a jungle, towns, sewers etc. It is easy enough to get around, and know what your limits are. The fire does look a little ridiculous, and the effect is repeated when things explode. Sounds and Music This is where the game lacks a little. The music does get a little repetitive and the sound of you throwing grenades is constantly there. There really isn't much else to say other then this. Story The story is rather weak, but this is not supposed to be a story game. You are fighting for the freedom of the island you have landed upon. You fight against the current military presence. That is really all there is too it. Gameplay As I have said previously, I have played and beaten this game numerous times. I am not 100% sure what it is about the game, but it really does have its charms. The weapon upgrades are fun. Things do die fairly quickly, but so do you. If you want to keep your weapon upgrades you need to work on dodging bullets, tanks, and helicopters. You do have a set number of lives, but you have infinite continues, resulting in there being no need to worry about game overs. (if you are playing 2 player you can get through the game without a game over by making sure one of you is always alive, although this is easier said then done.) The game is fairly short, I actually beat it with my brother a few days ago and we were only playing for 30-45 minutes. Conclusion This game is worth playing. Maybe its just me, but any Final Fantasy boss. My two favorite Final Fantasy's are Final Fantasy 8 and Final Fantasy 10. This might be because I get all the ultimate weapons and deck my characters out. By the time I get to the final boss I barely have to look at them for them to die. This is especially true of Final Fantasy 10. |

My favorite consoles are 1. The PS2 2. The N64 3. The Xbox360 4. The NES 5. SNES Never really cared for the Wii, although I do own it. The PS3 never caught my attention other then resistance. I didn't like the original XBOX. In my opinion all Sega had going for it was Sonic. My opinion, don't get offended. 1. The PS2 2. The N64 3. The Xbox360 4. The NES 5.
