It's not just the Vizzed polls I'm talking about, but real-life ones, too. I keep hearing all these polls about government and health and TV show viewership and everything else, and I wonder if anybody ever votes in those polls several times to jack up the results. It would explain a lot if they did.

Wow, it's great to know you're interested in a Remake, Elara. Chrono Trigger probably has more female fans than we realize.

The main reason we want to keep the site secret right now is to avoid having people print out, sign, and send in the petitions prematurely. If they cannot get to the petition files from the site, we won't have to worry about that.

So, Remove the petition files from the site, i.e. take them out of whatever area the site loads them from. Then, if anybody tries clicking on the site's links to the petitions, they'll get an "Error 404 -- File Not Found" page. If you do that, we can safely show the site to more people.

Of course, if we did that, we'd also have to move the Extra Downloads thread to this forum or something so that nobody except us could access it, since the site will soon contain links to the normal forum where people could otherwise locate copies of the petition.

And we'd also have to remove all links to the petitions that exist in places like CTRP, since me and Apoc have been known to supply those folks with links to show them our progress...

But still, doing all this would mean we'd be able to show the site to pretty much whomever we want. And then, on Launch Day, we can put the petition files back up (and move the Extra Downloads thread back to the normal forum) so people can access and use them.

About your offer to make special petitions for other staff members: if CuteLucca ever drew a picture of Alfador, I'd use it in a heartbeat for this purpose. But she hasn't...

Jake, I don't care if you disagree with the people who liked the original graphics system/perspective or whatever. They have a right to vote for what they want, not the possible choices that you want. Besides, if they explain why they want that graphics/perspective system, we can explain why we think a 3-D remake would be better, and perhaps change their minds about it.

Yes, the Colosseum was actually a sprite in the Prerelease of the game. It was given the name "Robot Village" by the Compendium (since it didn't have an "official" name) and was later used for the Chrono Trigger Coloseum project.

It's going to be a dark, grim time here at Vizzed without CC to brighten things up. Wonder how long their non-wedding honeymoon will last.
