I don't think you should get a summer break at all.

I think stopping the school year and letting the knowledge dribble out of your head for 2 to 3 months at a time is stupid.

Instead, I think you should go all year round, but with shorter days. Go from 8am to 2pm, for example. And add Saturdays.

10 months a year=1400 hours
4 weeks a month
5 days a week
7 hours a day

vs

12 months a year=1296 hours
3 weeks a month
6 days a week
6 hours a day

Less total hours, BUT it'd be more continuous, with only the week breaks instead of a massive 2 month gap in learning. Six hours at school would probably mean more homework, BUT you'd have much more time to do it at home, as well as daylight hours to do kid-stuff even in the middle of winter, when getting out at 3 (in our northern regions anyway) can mean it's already starting to get dark! It would also allow more time for extra-curricular things. I know that when I was in school, band and sports could mean I was at school until 5 or 6pm-the day was gone, and I'd be walking home in darkness.

Also, letting the kids out earlier could allow the schools to cut back a bit on the playground recess time. No 'fense, but the only reason for recess is to give the kids (and the teachers) a break from learning, but if you're getting out two hours earlier, you don't need the break as much? So more learning time!

It's be harder on the teachers, but they'd have that week to catch up on grading and plans, so I think they could do it.

What do you guys think?

It varies wildly for me. Never seems to be less than 2, but usually a bit more. Lately they've been "WHERE ARE YOU????" notifications, lol.

When I'm more active I have more. Makes sense, yeah?

Yeah, I hate to be critical, but your review just doesn't really do anything towards giving me an idea of what the game is like.

You mention a complicated storyline....it's Wayne's World, it can't be all THAT complicated.

What about the music? A game based on Wayne's World should have some great music. Does it? Not?

You mention that the graphics are good but not in terms of design. Huh? Like, colors and pixels are nice but the designs are boring? Or maybe the backgrounds are nice but the monsters are blurry? Give us some details.

Details are important.

I agree with most of the posters on here; when I see a disabled person, I don't really think much extra one way or the other because to me, I'm just seeing a person. I will, however, notice if the person needs help and do so if it's needed. Like holding a door for a person in a wheelchair if the door doesn't have a power-open button. But then again, I'd do the same for a person with their arms full of bags, so to me, it's just common courtesy.

What I don't do is leap to help them with every little thing. I believe that everyone deserves dignity and if the person is capable of handling the situation on their own without outside assistance, then I let them. Because it's humiliating for people to assume you can't.

I applaud you for being open about your disabilities and encouraging discussion on things like this; it's a subject that a great many people tend to just not want to talk about because they feel embarrassed about it.

*best bridgekeeper impression* what...is your favorite COLOR?

LOL no seriously.

If you were stuck on a deserted island and you knew you were going to be there for the next ten years and you could only pick ONE console and ONE game on that console, what would you pick and why?

IT'S 2:22 here!

Just thought I'd share that.

It's sad that only one other person has the same problem as me, and then not even as strong as mine (you and me, patar4097: )

I've actually seen that book, but math makes me weep copious floods of bitter tears.

...I mean, I don't like it much.

Great review, well written and amusing. Good job!

Oh jeeze-yeah, it was kind of your fault, just like the time it was 'my fault' when I hit a boulder-sized chunk of ice and skidded across two lanes of oncoming traffic and front-ended a fire hydrant.

I know that feel.

I'm sorry about your car though. Good insurance, I hope? I hope they can get it replaced by the time you leave.

I'm glad you didn't hurt yourself (hopefully?). Was it your fault, or did someone do something stupid?

The worst movie I've ever seen was Kill Bill (both of them). I have no idea why people like these movies so much-she's ugly, the action is boring and not even done well, the story is ridiculous and over-wrought, the actors are wooden and unbelievable, the music is seriously annoying, and the attempts at comic-book action-style are cheesy.

I have to say that I've never considered eating my crayons, but now that you mention it, they seem rather...delicious looking....

I'd probably eat the green one and it would taste like lime soda.

I would pull a knife out of my turban, chop up a banana, and offer it as an exchange, since I do not believe in taking things without giving something back.

And we could have a really cool tropical fruit party and invite all of our neighbors. It'd be a lot of fun.

Thank goodness for spell-check. I can't stop spelling banannnanananana....

I find myself noticing the time at certain points of the day..and if the time display is sequential (12:34) it makes me laugh. And not only do I notice it, but I suffer from the overwhelming compulsion to blurt it out and make sure everyone else knows it as well. Like it's the coolest thing ever, whoooot! HAH HAH so funny...

I think I might have a problem. XD

What do you guys think? Is this something you've ever done? Am I just weird? Is it a side-effect of too much medication? (probably.....)

2) Square (...Enix, I suppose. *SIGH*)
3) Bullfrog (console games, but awesome)
4) Bioware
5) 2K (whoever they are now-Irrational games?)

I thought the Super Nintendo was the best, but between those two I'd choose the 64. Most of that is for the sheer amazement factor that came with it-I mean, 3D games? FOR REAL? It was all so magical and mystical back then. I remember freaking out about how cool the water looked on Super Mario 64. And for games, I think I had way more 64 games than gamecube games.
