FaithFighter : I have no idea what you mean by a lot of magic in them.  Do you mean they seem like games where magic plays a big part because is kind of does.   Or do you mean that they seem magic in the sense that it isn't believable, because  yes it isn't believable.  But you should try one of them nonetheless, maybe you'll find enjoyment out of them.

My favorite would have to be The Great Mighty Poo from Conkers Bad Fur Day.  I just love the idea of fighting a giant opera singing pile of poop.

Lycan212 : That game is actually pretty fun.  If you don't like it, then you could always just play something like it, but with a gun like House of the Dead.  The game is supposed to help people get there typing speed up while having fun killing zombies and for a new take on zombie killing.

suntemple : The character creation in 3 is actually a lot better than in the ones in the first 2.  The game is a sandbox and is a lot bigger than one and two, so I don't see how it is too small.

kirbmanboggle : I actually really enjoyed what they did with Resident Evil 6, it was about six hundred times better than what they did Resident Evil 5 and giant monkey man Chris.  It wasn't the best Resident Evil it was by far not the worst, there are plenty of others that are worse like Resident Evil 5 and the policy they have of re releasing every game on about seventeen different consoles to make a little more money.

One of the only games in recent memory to make me cry at all, let only within the first hour and then multiple times later in the game, would have to be The Last of Us for PS3.  In the prelude you play as the main character Joel's daughter 20 years in the past the night the outbreak happens.
Spoiler:
when the outbreak is going on the main character is running from infected and stumbles across a soldier who kills the infected and is order to kill Joel and his daughter Sarah as well.  The soldier fires his rifle a few times and then the main characters brother, Tommy shows up and kills the soldier, Joel was hit in the process but is fine, Sarah got shot in the stomach because she hurt her leg and Joel was carrying her.  She ends up dying in the beginning and the screen fades to black
setting up the whole mood for how the rest of the game is going to be and how you are supposed to feel about it while it is happening.  Very fun game, love able characters, and great story, try it if you haven't already.  Thanks for reading.  Potato!

I love games that just try to destroy from the get go, like the Souls games.  They offer a good challenge and most of the time you can have fun even if you are bad (unless you have anger issues, in which case don't throw your controller out of frustration, I tried and broke multiple controllers.) If you die you just gotta get back up there and try again, maybe learn the enemies patterns and be able to tell when it is going to use which attack.  The Souls games have tons of replay ability, from just changing your starting gift or changing the class entirely or just playing a different way, like without a shield and just dodging everything.  They can be beaten if you try hard enough and if you still can beat anything, then just get involved in some jolly cooperation!

I will pretty much play anything if its fun, but I tend to gravitate more towards role playing, and strategy games like Fire Emblem and Final Fantasy.  Though shooters and horror are up there on my list as well, because they are pretty fun, the only games I don't really play either the kind of games that are made for little kids, like Reader Rabbit, games that are for little girls specifically, like Barbie, or fighting games, like Street Fighter (though Tekken is very fun every once in a while!).

My saddest ending in a game would have to go to Shadow of the Colossus, where you are basically killed to try and save your girlfriend, and then get turned into a horned baby, where you are led into a life of persecution, because it leads into Ico, where your character is taken to a castle and locked away just because you are different.

So what is your most frustrating game that you have ever played?  Mine would have to go to the game White Knight Chronicles for the PS3.  This game is an RPG, you create a character, which it turns out isn't even the main character and you don't even really have that much of an effect on the story at all.  The game play is so slow, every action has around a ten second windup where you are just waiting, and its not just you, but everything, from your partners, to the enemies, and even the bosses, everything takes for ever.  The story is boring as can be, typical get some superpower and avenge the king so the main character (which you aren't) can get with the princess.  Boring, slow, and stupid.  Don't play this game, it is bad.

SetGent : Yeah the way that stats rise in 2 is very weird to say the least.  If you ever wanted to try it, there is a mod of balance on this site, it makes most of the annoying stats rise easier and just really stabilizes the game entirely.  You should really try it out.  You might actually like it with the balance mod!
