Now that it's ending, I'm going through ( in some cases for a second time) The Wheel of Time series.  After that, no clue, although I may finally give A Song of Ice and Fire a go.

First, check the userpic.  Second, been watching the show for well over 20 years.  Matt Smith and Sylvester McCoy rank as my favorites at the moment, but as with anything in my life, this is subject to change.

I open up a CVE (Charged Vacuum Emboitment), suck in the droid, and close it again.

I throw a sonic screwdriver at the person below me!

When I lived in Chicago, we would sometimes get snow at the end of October, but never the first..weird.  I now live in Tennessee ,mainly to escape the snow, but that didn't work either...

Try this one :  in The Dark Knight, the Joker has just dropped the chick off the top floor.  Batman, being the hero of the film, does his thing and dives off after her.  That isn't the problem.  The problem, kids, is that no one seems to realize that Bats just left the Joker, quite possibly the most homicidal cat in Gotham, alone in a room just chock full of victims.  Alfred must have spent weeks cleaning up that one.  Way to go, Bruce.

But that's nothing compared to his pal Superman.  You see, in Superman : The Movie, that dastardly Luthor has just detonated a nuclear warhead on the San Andreas fault. Bad man.  This causes a damn to bust, threatening to wipe out a nice little town. Well, it would, if The Man of Steel hadn't built a makeshift dam.  Unfortunately, while he's doing that, Lois (his One True Love) is busy falling in crevice and, um, dying.  This naturally doesn't sit well with the Last Son of Krypton so he decides to ignore physics, reason and all the rules of clever writing and reverses time by flying around the earth really fast, thereby saving Margot Kidder's life.  All is well, except for one teeny little thing : that dam still burst, that town is still toast, only Supes is too busy using his X-Ray Vision, if you catch my drift.
There, Vizzed, top that.

Those are pretty bad, I admit.  Except Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, that one was pretty good.  Kingdom of the Crystal Plot Point, err, Skull, sucked eggs.  The worst, though?  Got to be Superman IV : The Quest for Peace.  Gene Hackman as a hammy Lex Luthor, a young Jon Cryer as Lex's nephew (whaaa...???) , Christopher Reeve sleepwalking through the story, Nuclear Man ('nuff said) and of course, that God awful "fight" on the moon.  Now excuse me, my brain needs to be cleansed just thinking about that waste of celluloid...

Easy.  Either the Plymouth Prowler 1999 Black-Tie edition or the Aston-Martin DB5.  Yes, I'm a Bond geek and yes, I'm that much of a Bond geek.

About a year ago, I went back to the school where I attended 2nd and 3rd grades.  It's an historic landmark now, apparently, and I had the yearning to go check out a place I hadn't been in over 20 years.  Now, in my mind, my memories, that place was big.  Big, heck...that place was huge!  To a 2nd grader.  To my 30-odd year old self, it was..tiny.  The halls, the rooms, the doors..all were much, much smaller than I remembered.  Yeah, I know, I myself was smaller then, and that plays into it, but still - it was a bit of a shock.  And a little, just a little, of that childhood I tried so hard to cling to vanished like a puff of steam.  Nostalgia can be a good thing, I guess, but losing it still hurts like the Dickens.
