There are plenty of good artists in different genres, it just requires some effort to find them. 

Oldschool777 : I agree that a lot of people are doing it just for the money, and aren't very talented, but there are still quite a few that write their own songs and actually care about making quality music. 

Txgangsta : I do agree with your points about the EU and NATO and stuff, but you might want to refrain from calling people ignorant or using other petty insults . You're kinda making the rest of us non-Trump supporters look bad .

No offense, but how can you call yourself a "peacekeeper" when you have "escalated" tension in this thread? Also, there are more people involved than just "angry liberals" and "arrogant Trump supporters". I don't see why you have to essentially divide America into two when there are a lot of rational, sane people on both sides and in the middle, as well. Maybe you don't know about these people because they are quietly trying to help ease the division in our country, instead of adding more fuel to the fire. 

Like you, I do not like Donald Trump at all. However, people who don't dislike Trump like you and I are still entitled to their opinions, and so are we.

Trump supporters don't really have a reason to be upset right now though. Their candidate won the election and Congress is basically theirs as well. It isn't really the best analogy to make considering the side protesting is the side that lost.

That does sound good in theory, but it is pretty expensive to just fly to another country, and if you're gonna move there, it'll be even more costly. You have to forgo your current job, hope and pray you can find a new job in Canada (or wherever you are going), get passport and VISA approval and other immigration things, and as silly as it may sound, you have to be willing to adapt to a very different environment (not necessarily the nature aspect, but like culture and stuff). You also might have to leave behind potential family members. Even if he decides he wants to move to Canada right now, it will take him quite a bit of time to move there LEGALLY.

thing1 : You blame Obama for all of these things like he is robocop and needs to be everywhere at once. Besides the part about the health care, it is pretty unreasonable to blame Obama for any of those things. Also, how do you know these people who beat you for the job are "illegal immigrants"? Do they go around telling everyone that they swam across the Rio Grande?? Either all of those people are stupid enough to go around admitting that they are illegal immigrants or you are making an assumption about them. You say we live in a "gimme gimme" society, but you literally just blamed another man who you have never even met for all of your problems, especially not getting a job.

Going back to the Spanish thing, I'm pretty sure knowing Spanish is not mandatory to get a job or else most of America would be unemployed....

Looking at your post and previous posts of yours, you seem to be conservative. Usually conservatives advocate for less government (not saying you necessarily have said that, but it seems to be the general consensus). If you want less government, why do you bash Obama for "not doing anything to help"? You can't have it both ways. 

One last question: How does someone "identify" as black? Pretty sure people can't pick and choose race (unless you're Michael Jackson, that is).

Txgangsta : The thing is, there are crazies on tumblr. However the number of tumblr crazies is probably greatly exaggerated. You get more views for saying crazy stuff. That is what gets noticed the most. No one is going to talk about "normal" posts, even though they might be the majority. I'm having a little trouble phrasing it, but my point is, tumblr gets a worse rep than it should because what gets attention isn't always what most people on there think.

m0ssb3rg935 : I think you might have misunderstood the point I was trying to make. The KKK was a hate group that hated blacks even though they didn't even do anything to them, besides help them out. Whites took advantage of them for many years with slavery and then the KKK decided that wasn't enough and started killing people. Although I am not trying to justify BLM killings, one can make the case that was "in response to racial violence".What I am trying to say is that the KKK was an attempt to further discriminate a minority whereas BLM was an attempt to protest racial inequality.

I don't really have a strong positive or negative feeling about BLM. When it is not violent, there is no problem. However, it is confusing to me as to why they only protest for the rights of blacks. Innocent white, hispanic, and people of other races are killed by cops as well, but "white guy shot by cop" just doesn't sell headlines as well as "black guy shot by white cop" would, does it? Too many innocent people are killed, but it's not just cops. Cops are human too, it is unfair to pin the blame on them. 

With that being said, how can any of us judge protestors? Unless you have been in a situation where you have been in extreme danger to a cop, how can you say what it is like? If you comply with the cop and he still has a gun pointed at a head will you be ok with that? On the other hand, how can people be so hard on cops as well? If a suspected criminal just went back into his car, you literally have no idea what he could be getting out, so you, naturally as a human being, go into primitive defense mode. It's pretty sad to see that literally any and every group is being generalized like this. 

m0ssb3rg935 : It's a pretty unfair to compare a dormant organization to an active one. If you are going to compare, compare the two at their heights when white extremists were lynching innocent black men and women and literally anyone who disagreed with them. Also, it is unfair to compare an organization who terrorized a race other than their own just because they were different, and an organization who wants to protest racial issues. I'm not saying either one is good, but in my opinion, it's no contest, the KKK was much worse at its peak than the BLM is/was. 

In the end, it's a really tough and convoluted issue. While it does raise awareness (which is a good thing), it has caused even more racial tensions and division. Like a lot of people have said, education is key, but not just for "blacks in da hood", but for EVERYONE.
