Really great review! I actually think I will look this game up. It was told very simply, but very well. Capcom should hire you as a marketer lol. I think for how short this is it stands out. I would be interested in hearing more about the game. You should try to add a little more in the future, I think you can easily write long, quality reviews if all of your writing is like this. Please do more, review other games you grew up with, maybe I will find something else to play. I'm more than willing to read them. Thanks for the review! |

I second using the categories in your next review, it really does make things simpler to read. On the other hand I do like that you are reviewing games that not as many people know. I like to hear about games that I may have an interest in playing that I have not done so yet. Keep reviewing, just add in the categories. Well done on what you have done thus far. Thanks for the review. |

I do not want to feel like a jerk but I feel like there is a decent amount of information that does not really belong in a review here. Telling us the names of the starter Pokémon and adding in completely random thoughts really don't do much for this review. There are a variety of reasons to read a review, I for one read reviews on games that I despise. Simply because one does not like a game does not mean I will not read about it. Some of the negative reviews are the best there are. I remember reading a negative review about Dragon Warrior (a classic in my opinion) that had me laughing like crazy. Anyways, try to put more relevant details in your posts. Don't give up yet. |

Whats the general consensus on how much is enough or too much? I feel like regardless of what I post it is not really being read. Whats the best way to go about it? |

I agree that the difficulty is higher than one. I consider level one to be like a sesame street game. You mentioned that he defeats bowser and walks away with the princess, although this game is one that really doesn't have much of a story I would recommend avoiding the ending in any way shape or form. The review itself was decent though. Please do a few more. |

Thanks for the review, I love this game. It was one of my first Nintendo games. I don't know if agree with the difficulty though, try getting through world 8 without using items. Its a pain. |

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3:The Manhattan Project If you are anything like me, you grew up worshiping the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. My wall was decorated with everything related to them. This led me to buy every Ninja Turtles game I could possibly find. The best of those I own is this, TNMT 3: The Manhattan Project. Shredder is once again up to no good, and you, as a ninja turtle are responsible for stopping him. Let get to it! Game play You are able to choose between any of the 4 turtles, each with a special attack (some are better than others). The attack makes things more interesting than previous installments where simply pressing the same buttons on any turtle would result in identical moves. You have a reason to chose specific turtles now! There are a variety of intractable obstacles in the game, things that damage you when you touch them, sewer lids can be hit back at enemies, my personal favorite thing to do when I was a child was to throw enemies over your head and into open areas. Numerous characters from the show make an appearance in the game. There is a level Graphics: 9 The graphics are about as good as they get for the era this game was released. It is easy to see and understand whats going on and you can easily distinguish who you are fighting as and who you are fighting with. For the day and age this game was released it truly was amazing to see something like Manhattan Island lifting into the sky. It was very well done. Sound: 9 The sound is well done, again, I would find myself humming the tune along with the game. Undoubtedly you will hear the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme song. It wasn't like other games where I found myself wanting to mute the game to stay sane while playing. The sounds made with attacks can get slightly repetitive (hence the lost point). Sound changes appropriately as you advance through the levels. The bosses have the appropriate dramatic music. Addictiveness: 9 This game is definitely addictive. If there is a game I am likely to play again on the NES it is this one. I have beaten it numerous times and I am sure it will happen again. As a ninja turtle fan I was definitely into the game. Seeing numerous familiar villain's helped me relive my childhood over and over again. Multi player adds another level of addictiveness to the game, as playing through with your friends is simply fun. Story: 6 There is not much to the story, but what can you expect? You are mutated turtles fighting against the evil shredder and Crang. He does something stupid (raises Manhattan) and you stop him. If you have played one you have played them all. This game is more about the action, not the story! Don't let that detract you from the awesomeness that is TMNT! Depth: 8 There isn't much depth in this game, its fairly linear. Once you get the hang of the game (does not take long) you will have it beaten in no time. If you add another player it is that much easier. Beat em up, move on, that is all there is to it. Difficulty: 7 The game is not nearly as difficult as the previous games. (I never beat TMNT 2). I beat this one as a child, numerous times. Some bosses are hard, but doable. Conclusion In conclusion, I give Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles a 9/10. This game is nostalgic, the sounds good, its not too hard, its worth playing numerous times. If you enjoy fighting games, this ones worth looking at. Even if you don't like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, do yourself a favor. Play this game, it might even change your mind about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. If you do like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles you have to play this game. The modern TMNT games are horrible! Go to their roots! You will definitely not regret it. This is about as good as it gets. My final numbers are: Overall:9 Graphics 9 Sound 9 Addictive 9 Story 6 Depth 6 Difficulty 7 Let me know what you think! Final Fantasy Tactics Advance Review Overall - 7 Final Fantasy Tactics Advance is an interesting game to say the least. It is very different compared to other final fantasies. For me, this is a bad thing. I know that there are a number of people who enjoy this game, but its just not my type of game. THAT DOES NOT MEAN ITS A BAD GAME. Graphics - 9 The graphics are done pretty decent, everything is 3D, My only complaint is the map, its is a little too simple, but I don't know what I would have done to improve it. Most of the graphics on spells and attacks are really simple (a simple swipe of the sword), but the summons are pretty decent. Sound - 6 I really didn't care for the sound, it bored me. You hear an attack, and the response is simply the sound someone makes when they get punched in the stomach. Could it get more interesting? I didn't like the music that much either. Others may like it more. Addictiveness - 7 It is fairly addictive, I know I wanted to finish the game. A lot of the rules implicated regularly in battle frustrated me, making me not want to play as often (that is why the points were subtracted). Story - 6 I'm giving you my opinion! The story is cheesy. I simply didn't like it. This is a final fantasy game! Where's the emotion! Basically, you as a child are stuck in a final fantasy game. You want out, your friends want to stay. Depth - 6 It are a lot of things you can do (quests, fights to level, etc) to do in the game. It takes a while to beat, but part of this is because the battles take SOO LONG. Quantity of hours does not make up for quality in my mind. You can level different jobs etc, making it have a little more. Difficulty - 6 This game really isn't that hard, the laws just make things obnoxious. Lets say you forget about one law and cast an illegal spell. Your guy is now in jail and you are out for a few fights. Its simply frustrating! In conclusion this game is ok, maybe worth a play through. If you are going to play, do yourself a favor and play on vizzed so you can speed up the fights. Save yourself a lot of time. Don't go in to the game expecting Final Fantasy, you will be sorely disappointed. It is a completely different game. Overall - 7 Graphics - 9 Sound - 6 Addictive - 7 Story - 10 Depth - 6 Difficulty 6 This review is a lot different than my last, please comment and let me know what you think. Is this better? I Agreed with the above posts. Having said that, at least you are reviewing! Just see what you can do to improve the quality compared to quantity. |

Good review of a classic game. I personally preferred silver, but I know there are people who preferred gold. Looking forward to your future reviews. |

I recommend going into more detail about what the game is like. What would I expect if I had never played sonic before. What did you like or dislike about the game? Please try again, but please put a little more detail in about the game. |

I love this game. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle games (minus the first one) were always some of my favorite games as a child. This one is one of the only ones I didn't have as a child. I didn't play it until high school and I have yet to finish it. Someday it will happen. Thanks for the review. Just for future reviews I would recommend putting things that you specifically like and dislike about the game. |

Thanks for the review, I personally prefer some of the other Pokémon games over sapphire (red, blue, black and white 2 etc) but its good to read opinions on all games. I love that your just plowing through all the Pokémon games. How far are you going to go on the series? Guess we will find out. Please continue! |

Again, I might suggest previewing before posting to see if there are any walls of texts (your background is what makes the wall of text). Having said that your reviews are still very well done. I'm glad you post them regularly. Mega Man is such an amazing series (5 is my personal favorite and the only one I owned until I bought the collectors pack). I wish we could see mega man games of the same quality released now a days but I feel this is too much to ask for. Anyways, thanks for the review, looking forward to reading more! |
