Welcome to my review of the game Love Hina Advance. First off, I'd like to mention that this game has been unofficially translated into English. But it is definitely a game I enjoy playing. It is one of the few games that I know of that are based off of an anime and have been translated (although unofficially as I had said). But great job Vizzed!
Genre: Visual Novel / Dating Simulation Definition: Visual Novels are games where you play through a scene made up of text, and are required to make a decision, for better or worse to get an overall good or bad ending at the end. Beginning with the Graphics section, it's got some quite decent graphics if I do say so myself, the pictures used are mainly stills from the anime series of the same name. I have yet to complete this game fully, but having seen the anime, I can guess where this ends up. Sound: Music-wise this is a very good game, it also plays an instrumental version of the anime's opening song "Sakura Saku" (Cherry Blossoms Blooming) at the end of each "episode". Voice-wise, it retains the Japanese vocals from the main characters, which may seem a little weird, but as I had mentioned above, this game was unofficially translated into English. Addictiveness is where this game (and Visual Novels in general) get good scores, as you can play again and again to try and get the good endings, or if you're one of those people who like seeing people out of luck, they would get the bad endings. Note: Some Visual Novels have "Neutral" endings, where there is a standard conclusion and no real advancement with the plot. Some others, on the other hand require you to unlock all endings, Good and Bad, to gain access to a Bonus Ending. Not having completed this game yet, I have yet to discover if such Bonus Ending exists. Story is an interesting thing, as this game is based off of the anime of the same name, but as I had also mentioned earlier, the story can divert depending on the choices you make in the game. The choices you make are linked to a timer, which beeps to let you know how much time you have left, certain scenes have the timer go super quickly, where in others it gives you roughly 10 - 20 seconds to make a decision. Depth - Depending on your view, this game may have a lot of depth, or none at all, but having seen the anime. I would say that this game has quite a bit of depth especially as it gives each character a back story of some kind. Difficulty: Not particularly a hard game, the only hard thing I would say about it is that you probably need to know the characters a bit before you play this game, as even if you choose the right option, it may backfire on you later on. Overall: Not a bad game, I love it personally and wish that others would enjoy it as well. Hmmm, As a child a baby, my parents used to tell me I slept for nearly 18 hours in one day, which is quite extraordinary even for a baby of a couple of months old.
But recently, the longest I've slept would be 12 hours, possibly 13. But recently, the longest I've slept would be 12 hours, possibly 13. |

Yes I have been in a hailstorm once or twice in my life, I hate storms really badly. I'm not scared of them or anything, I just really dislike them, possibly because of me either getting wet or the constant noise that follows. |

Is this excluding advertisement breaks? If so I'd say 30 - 45 minutes at the very least. |

I didn't know all of them but at least 4 - 5
Two died from heart attack Two died of dementia and the other of cancer. Death is such a sad thing, it's unusual to post about it on a gaming forum, but I still think it is a good idea to talk about it especially as it is a sensitive subject. EideticMemory : Hi! Thanks for commenting, I'd say you play as Mr Incredible for roughly 80% of the game, and each level is divided into worlds e.g. the city, the jungle, Syndrome's lair. So not very very long, but they can be repetitive. If you'd like I can do a full level list with playable characters when I get home from college. |

Today's review will be on the video game based on the Pixar movie - The Incredibles. This game really lives up to it's potential.
Please note that this game is pretty much an interactive version of the film with you doing the beating up of the bad guys and all that. Starting off with the Graphics, Game Boy Advance game, yet it's got stills from the movie. It's definitely a good feature if it does that. Bear in mind many other Pixar titles do this also, e.g. Finding Nemo. But it is definitely a nice touch as it makes you feel like you are actually playing through the movie yourself. The colours are also very nice as most games do not have such unique shades. Sound is a high point of this game but not the highest, it has interesting music and hearing the comical sound effects the game has to offer make it that much more heroic and daring. A little bit of criticism here however, the sounds are scarce, meaning there aren't many outside of the music and the comical sound effects, but a good job nonetheless. Addictiveness is a tough one to rate, especially on a game like this, consider the fact you're playing it for a while, decide to quit about half an hour later, when you get back to resume the game (assuming you closed the Vizzed window) You find you have to start all over again unless you wrote or typed the password at the start of the level. I personally have done this with other games and found it irritatingly frustrating, especially when I'm close to finishing a game I've just spent 3 - 4 hours on. Story as I had mentioned earlier plays the same as the movie of which the game is based upon. You do get to control different characters however which makes it feel less of a drag playing as Mr. Incredible all the time. Depth, not that deep as this is based off a Disney Pixar movie, it's not dramatic as some other games I have played. But I guess you could say it is a rather interesting game for the younger children who like and believe in superheroes and super villains. Difficulty is a progressive thing, the further into the game you go, obviously the harder it will get, but personally I found the enemies that have projectile weapons to be hard to beat surprisingly. But with good practice you should be able to manage through the game with relative ease. Overall a pretty nice game for the younger ones, a solid 8 from me. Positives Easy to play once you know what you're doing Plenty of bad guys to beat up, sometimes up to 7 at once Negatives A tad repetitive playing as Mr. Incredible all the time, but you do get the chance to play as others, just not as much. I don't mind either way personally. when the laugh track is on, I feel that I am watching something with company. I do tend to watch a lot of sitcoms with laugh tracks, an example being The Big Bang Theory. But because I like the show, I have grown to block out the laugh track and imagine myself watching it without needing to hear the constant laughter. |

Compared to the older shows, I prefer Nickelodeon out of the three choices. But if I had to pick one from the older days, I'd say Cartoon Network. Can't say I ever liked Disney to be honest. |

Today's review will be on another instalment of the Tekken franchise, this time it is on Tekken 2's Arcade Version B. This game, or should I say Tekken 2 is, my favourite instalment of the Tekken franchise. Before starting to officially review this game, I'd like to say that this review is purely my opinion and you may disagree / agree with it as such within appropriate reason. So don't go and tell me I suck. Okay? Okay.
We dive right in with a cross chop to the face, just kidding. But we start off with the Graphics section, this section is what makes the game not only shine for me, but gives it vivid imagination and colour. Literally, please note that this game is rather old, I think 20 years old now, but my goodness does it make up for it. The colours used in the game are as vivid as any rainbow I have seen. Not only do the fighters marvel, but the character Sound up next, is very very good; most characters have their own unique voices bar a couple of obvious ones, the Jacks or the Williams sisters. The sounds each character makes is interesting as well as complex. The noises made by the moves are also interesting albeit cringe-worthy as some moves you can hear bones cracking. Ick! Each character also has his or her own stage with music to accompany it, this is a very nice touch. Addictiveness-wise (For goodness sake... this word again!) is a solid 10 from me as it has a lot up its sleeve when it comes to gameplay. To elaborate further, the game has a host of 23 characters to choose from. Each one of the characters has his or her own move sets which you can execute to make into combos, throws and even knockouts. Story is a little hard to explain as each character has their own reasoning for joining the tournament, be it for vengeance, money or just to beat a long term rival, the characters will always have one or more reasons to brawl it out with one another, also it should be noted that each character has a Sub-Boss aside from Kazuya and Devil / Angel. Depth I had pretty much covered in the Story section, the ultimate goal of any of the characters is to beat their Sub-Boss then Kazuya, I do not know if this is true in the Arcade versions, but in the Playstation version, you are awarded a small movie clip featuring your character. Difficulty is always hard to rate, but due to this being on the PC compared to a Playstation controller (which is much easier to use) I have given it a rating of 7, plus the fact the difficulty is set to "Medium" by default. Overall, a wonderful piece of nostalgia and also a good entrance into the Tekken franchise. We dive right in with a cross chop to the face, just kidding. I'm a "Casualist". I have a strong dislike for competition as to me it serves no purpose in life but to create tension between peers unless of course it is for fun.
I haven't entered a competition before and I honestly don't intend to as when I was younger, there was this person who was intent on beating me at this game we were playing in a lesson. She got 14,000. I wasn't really doing it for the competition but I ended up getting 365,000. My teacher could not stop laughing, as the girl who wanted to beat me just stood in the background glaring at me. In response to games online, I often do a marathon on StumbleUpon, trying to complete the game 100% with any bonus features included. In my opinion, no I do not find it that violent at all. For a rating of 12 it was pretty tame compared to other films I have seen, but bear in mind that it received a rating of 15 upon being released onto DVD due to extra scenes not shown in the cinema.
But, I digress slightly, I don't find it violent, scary at times due to seeing children / young adults in such peril, but I suggest if you're not 12, don't watch it. Especially given some of the scenes involving death or graphic injury. Hello everyone! Welcome to another one of my reviews. Today's review will be on the Game Boy Advance game; known as "Creatures". This game also has a Playstation 1 port exactly the same as this minus the cinema-graphics or cut scenes if you don't know what that means.
So, what are the "Creatures"? Well, the Creatures are a race of AI controlled human-like animals by the species name of "Norms". These Norms could be considered similar to Sims as they grow older, require feeding, even reproduce. It's up to you as the Shee's (goddess of Life if I remember rightly) fairy assistant, Scrubby to help the Norms become a dominant species once again. We first talk about the Graphics, which are outstanding for a Game Boy Advance game, you'd expect pixels everywhere on your screen. But guess what, you'd be wrong, Creatures has very interesting models which, admittedly I cannot tell if they are 2D or 3D, but whatever they are, they are amazing models which come in various sizes, from trees to houses to blocks of cheese to even eggs. Simply outstanding graphics for such an outstanding game. Sound is up next, there is a very special place in my heart for the sound of this game as not only is the music able to make me feel on the edge of my seat or laid back and relaxed, the Norms actually seem to have their own language, which is comprised of laughter, some speech (not English mind you, any words in English are in speech bubbles only) But still to hear the Norms conversing with you and its family make you feel like you have raised your own little bunch of virtual pets. Addictiveness, I know I complain about that not being a word so many times, but this time, I'll let it slide because this game makes me want to come back to Vizzed every couple of days just to see how my Norms are doing, bear in mind that once the game is off, Norms "freeze". They do not age, they do not reproduce or die and so once you return to the game, they will be as you left them, which in my opinion is what makes this game extra special to me. With 3 giant worlds to explore, I can guarantee this is a game you don't want to miss out on. The story of the Norms I will take from the Playstation 1 version of the game as I do not know if the two games have the same story or not. Basically, you start off with two Norms named Adam and Bertha (funny, not Eve?) after some catastrophic event has taken place in their homeland, killing most of their relatives. It is up to you to make the Norms a populated species once again without them dying out. Feed them, Love them, Praise them, and punish them if necessary. Do all you can to ensure you breed these lovely Creatures! I have sort of covered the depth of the story, by mentioning that there are 3 worlds to explore in the game. But also as I had mentioned, the game is definitely one you do not want to miss. I highly recommend it. Finally, the difficulty section. This can be tricky to rate as you have no direct control over the Norms themselves but you can command them to do things such as to eat, or follow you if need be. The hardest part of the game is keeping track of your Norms as you need a certain amount of Norms to unlock new worlds, for the life of me I do not remember how many this is, it could be 4, but do not take my word on that. Overall, I hope you have enjoyed this review and seriously consider playing this game if you haven't already. I wish you the best of luck! So, what are the "Creatures"? Today's review will be on Tekken Advance, which is a Game Boy Advance game set in the Tekken universe between the games of Tekken 3 and Tekken Tag Tournament. I can tell this because some of the character portraits match those used in Tekken Tag Tournament, and the fact that no new characters from Tekken Tag Tournament or Tekken 4 appear in the game.
To start with I'd like to mention the fact that this game is non-canonical, this means there is very little, if anything to do with the story of Tekken, but rather plays off like a side story to the franchise more than anything. So, onto the review, we dive straight into the Graphics section, as you'd expect from a Game Boy Advance game, the graphics are made up of pixels, and the game is very 2D compared to its console counterparts. However unlike most games of this era, it has very distinctive shades used in the pixels as opposed to just being red or blue, it actually colours it differently with oranges and reds to balance out the otherwise 2D graphics. Sound is by far the best part of the game, it retains music and voices from the console game and uses them both well to the game's advantage. The only reason I gave it a 9 instead of a 10 is because I felt some sounds were overused. For example the kicking sound is very repetitive unlike the punching one. I also noticed some slightly remixed music tracks which was a nice feature. Addictiveness (On what planet is that a word? Seriously.) It is quite an addictive game with at least 11 characters to try out all with unique move sets and abilities. These moves also range in different power as well as executions. The reason I gave this an 8 is because despite clearing the game, you don't get any reward for it, whereas in console versions you get rewarded with a mini movie featuring the character you cleared the game with. Story is minimal to say the very least as judging by the Tekken 3 universe the game is set in, I could guess that the story is pretty much the same as the console version. So this is where the game lacks along with Depth which both scored 4's in my eyes. Difficulty should have a variable rating as you are able to change the difficulty of the game in the Options menu, or if you are a professional Tekken player, you can beat the game with relative ease. Overall, not a bad game, but not a good game story-wise, I recommend sticking to the original console versions if you want a true experience with the Tekken Franchise. I also feel it fails in the number of characters it has to offer, as it does not have my favourite character in the game, but hey, you can't win them all I guess. Before I begin this review, I'd like to mention I have played both the GBC version (On Vizzed) and the PS1 version (In real life). Both of these games do differ in some shape or form.
Totally Angelica, is obviously by the cover of the box, a girl's game. But as with any reviewer, one must step out of their boundaries once in a while, as a male (yes, I'm gay, get over it) I found this a rather interesting concept. A 3 year old wandering about the mall, playing mini games with her friends and getting new clothes to enter a fashion show? Original. First off, take note I am reviewing the Game Boy Colour version of this game, not the Playstation 1 version, however I will note some of the differences. Graphics - Pixelated, but colourful with interesting backgrounds and shades to choose from, and by shades, I don't mean the designer sunglasses. The PS1 version differs in the fact that the game is in full 3D with cut scenes included. Sound - As with most retro / old games, the sound is a tad off, but it is a very good game none the less. The PS1 also one-ups this by giving the characters their voices based on the hit cartoon show. Addictiveness (Still do not think that's a word!) should have a variable button in it, as some of the mini games (e.g. Fluffy's Pinball Maze) are so tedious and take forever to complete. However, I do like many of the games the whole game has to offer. Story is where this game falls a notch or two, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad thing. A child running round a mall without her parents? Security to Aisle 3! Depth: As I had just covered, there is little depth in the story to be considered "deep" or "dramatic". It's Rugrats after all, a game about babies who talk and walk when their parents can't see them. No drama whatsoever. Difficulty should be a variable subject as well as there are some games that are harder than others, the games range from slide puzzles, to hunting bugs and even matching colours. Overall, the game gets an 8 for very interesting concepts and about an hours worth of amusement before becoming boring. Nothing too bad. So, here begins my review of Arthur's game.
The story begins with Arthur being given a ticket to an amusement park, but as he looks closer at it, he sees 16 (sixteen) empty star slots. Coincidentally enough, his family and friends all own a star that he can obtain to get into the park with, but in order to get them you must complete a mini-game. These mini-games range from basketball, go-kart races, even helping your grandmother with baking pancakes. After obtaining the aforementioned stars, you obtain access to the carnival which allows you to play various carnival games such as bumper cars, target whacker and more. Graphics are obviously dated as this is a game for the Game Boy Colour, what can you expect from a game made out of pixels in up to 10 different colours. Sound, I'll admit was rather annoying to be quite honest with you all as it contained hissing and loud sounds that caused me to lose focus during certain levels. Addictiveness (is that a word?) is a 6, you are able to play each mini game more than once and obtain another star, so you could play the same game 16 times if you truly wanted to. The story, I have already explained, it gets a 4, it's not that original or complex, but still a rather fun game for a child up to the age of at least 8 years old would enjoy this. Depth isn't that much, as you simply travel around the town in any particular order playing mini games to obtain stars. Difficulty - Easy for me because I have gaming experience on many platforms, but for some children. It may go as high as a 5 or 6. But it's still rather easy. Well, my next meal would probably be my lunch tomorrow. I don't get up until late now that I'm home from college and so do not have breakfast in the morning, but have lunch in the early afternoon instead.
