This Pokémon Rom hack features little characters from a franchise known as Touhou. In this game, they are called Boneka and the same rules apply to that of Pokémon Emerald. However, there are minor differences like the addition of the Kanto region and the original "Java" region. With its insane difficulty, you'll spend hours grinding yourself to death on Boneka that have all new types and move sets (all 17 types are the same and some moves have been slightly modified, but nothing too bad of a change).

Each Boneka has a different "form" which changes every evolution. Either is be C (Chibi) or E(Ex) or even L(Last Word), they all vary and all have different aspects for you to find out.

I won't go too far in-depth of how difficult the game is, but I can at least say that once you hit the Java region; GOOD LUCK. You will find that you will be using your restore items or Pokémon centers A LOT if you're not too careful. If for whatever reason you want to ask why it's so hard, look up Touhou game play on "Lunatic" difficulty and you will see the comparison.

Now, as for graphics, the sprites are SUPREME. Every sprite is beautifully done and for the designer to sprite 400+ AND their shiny counter-parts, which is about 400 more (re colors aren't that hard, I know, but give him credit for doing it almost 400 times), is just immaculate. I guarantee you will also be in awe when you see these, they are just that good.

Let's talk about the music. Most of the music you will hear will be arrangements of the original Touhou games (For Windows and PC-98). For the most part, they are very well done. However, there is one problem I have. The volume NEEDS to be toned down. As much as I love any touhou theme and arrangements, I shouldn't have to play with the music blaring, prioritizing over the sound effects by twofold. It was nice to hear it, but the necessity of its sheer volume is zero. This is the very reason why I gave the sound a lower score.

Now the reason I put story as 6 is because it's just Emerald + slight add-ons that makes it just a tiny bit different from the actual game. These add-ons are primarily the Java region and Kanto. However, I do not include this into the overall rating only because it's a mod that uses Emerald's plot, just as older Touhoumon games had used FireRed's plot.

Another important piece to note is that a few type match-ups have been changed. One significant one is that Psychic CAN hit Dark, however its Not very effective. A second one I can remember is that Water is no longer super effective against rock. I do not know the reasoning for these changes, however, I won't complain because it does change it up a bit.

Lastly, you will find the starters to be lack-luster in conjunction to their types, however they become MUCH better as you progress. Think of an exponential curve in terms of usefulness. That's the way I saw it anyways.

Overall, one of the best and most difficult Rom hacks. I recommend to anyone who's an Otaku/anime-fan (Yes, I know Touhou isn't an anime. Just putting this disclaimer here so I don't have to hard it '') or just wants to try a random Rom hack with all new "Pokémon" and a large sense of difficulty. And touhou fans; well, touhou fans who have yet to play this Rom hack.

I honestly like FireRed Omega and Emerald 386 with the attempt to push all 386 Pokémon onto the games without the use/need of trades. Makes it a lot easier for those who use portable emulators (PSP etc.) or for those who can't seem to get VBA link to work (I occasionally see some people have troubles for some odd reason). But yea, if you want to catch as much Pokémon as you want or just have the perfect team you want without having to trade to get them, those two I recommend. However, be warned that their difficulty is jumped immensely, even with grinding you may have some difficulty.

Another one I enjoyed was Touhoumon, due to the fact that I am the fan of the series and that each "Touhou" actually is different from the Pokémon in terms of types and moves. Some of the type match-ups are changed in the more recent games for some odd reason, but it's still good overall. Oh, and insanely difficult after you reach the "Java" region, where you fight from levels 70-100 and the "Grand League" (super version of Elite Four) all have level 100s. And lastly the "Z" forms of Touhous are ridiculous with all them having 990 bast stat totals (ZFLandre having 245 in Atk and SpA with 190 in speed), yea, it's that broken.

Anyways, those are my two cents and an unnecessarily long post for three games.

I would definitely say Zubat/Golbat etc. only because a lot of people overlook them as they are in every cave possible. But damn, can they ever pack a punch in almost any Pokémon game. Especially with Steel Wing and Wing attack and the eventual Poison Fang, Crobat becomes a speedy little bat who just annihilates almost anything in its path. A very good example of its use is generation III; every time I always have a Crobat on my team by the time I beat the elite four because it is THAT useful. So those things that you keep seeing in caves are probably the best utility you can have for game progression. Hope that makes everyone feel better when they run into Zubats all the time.

pi0x : Well, again, TBH, I do love action battle or anything similar more than any other RPG style. Anything with a hack & slash feel to it more or less. Games like Fushigi no Dungeon (Mysterious Dungeon; Pokémon Mystery Dungeon etc.), Kingdom Hearts and all the likes. Definitely, I love those ones more, but occasionally I go to Final Fantasy when I'm just in the mood for it, really. In fact, it's the reason I like that genre of RPGs that I really got into Xenoblade and The Last Story for the Wii.

pi0x : I won't lie, I only hate the ones that are like FFI and FFII, which use the select and watch command. While in FFIV and later, they finally added the "Active Time Battle System(ATBS)" which had to make you think more to what you needed to do and was slightly more quick paced as if you didn't do anything, those buggers would attack you continuously until you did something. Most games that have the Final Fantasy RPG style don't uses the ATBS which is saddening because IMO, it's what made the FF series that much more popular since it was less, you know, boring in terms of gameplay.

However, everyone IS entitled to their own opinion, and I'll let you keep yours as I would anyone else. It's just something I'd like to share about the series is all.

I usually only listen to rock/metal or techno music... in those areas to say the least. However, I've recently been going more towards Doujin Circles lately (If you don't know, just ask). Mostly non-vocal arrangements of different themes, mainly Touhou, but a lot of others too. I just find those to be more enjoyable than anything else that plays anywhere, give it the television or the radio. I guess I just hate hearing the same things 10 times a day whilst I have this collection of more than 10,000 arrangements, about 80% of them still unheard, so I get no repetition vibe when listening to things I find.

That and I know an immense number of Circles/Artists off by heart, mostly the genres I stated above, of course. Also some orchestra arrangements are nice every now and then, as most of them from Doujin Circles are absolutely amazing.

Doesn't take THAT long, tbh.

Usually I just hit them to red HP and possibly sleep/freeze if I can and then save before using the ball, that was the RNG indefinitely changes each time. After about 5-50 Ultras, which is only about 5 minutes (well, through my controller set-up). Well, this is mainly for legendaries. However, for runaways, you are going to need a lot more patience unless you already depleted some of their HP beforehand. But regardless, it really doesn't take much time with emulation and speed-up.

I definitely love the OP theme of it. Matter of fact, the reason I found the show itself was because of it.

I was searching for musical arrangements with the well-known vocalist "Ayane", and there she was, singing the OP for 11Eyes. I say the theme itself was one of her best, just after her vocal arrangement of Necrofantasia by TatshMusicCircle.

The problem with Terraria is that the development team discontinued the game, so there are no more updates. Not just that, but Terraria is more adventure based game than creative, so after you beat the three last bosses and get the Excalibur etc. It seems like it ends there and setting up personal achievements is difficult since you basically did everything possible. While in minecraft you are continuously creating things in an endless cycle, both in creative and survival. The only time I play in Terraria now is when I can find two or more friends and all play online at the same time, creating all new characters on a whole new map and see how far we can go and what we can do in the short time we play. Honestly, it's much more fun that way, trying to steal all the items before your friends so. Loved every time I found a life crystal or Gold early game that my friend would rage spam text for 3 seconds. It was also how I learned to port forward at the time, lol.

It usually never is necessary for a larger handheld. However, I don't see a reason why for them not to release a larger model for $20 more than its predecessor, which isn't going to be discontinued for a long while still. For new consumers, they may buy it for its size. Me, myself, I'd buy for size and it's longer battery life. However, I already own a 3DS and see no reason to own a second, so I'm not going to bother with it. Nintendo has made these decisions even after doing it before. They know what they are doing and they know it won't kill them.

IMO, I would say The Sacred Stones.

It's much less non-linear (not just point A to point B the whole time; you can go back to a level for the hell of it), so you can go back and level up or just practice tactical decision making. It's the easiest game in my view since you have the tower later on in which you can just grind yourself to death very easily (in comparison to Arenas). So by chapter 16 or so, all your guys are classed up and level 20, sweeping the whole way until you beat the game.

BUT, in terms of linear gameplay, Fire Emblem for the GBA (English), NOT sacred stones, is also good. Easy to learn tutorial, variety of GOOD characters and fair on difficulty. If you do manage to beat it, you can try again on a harder difficulty if you are looking for something challenging or if you thought the first playthrough was too easy.

There will more than likely to be remakes. Nuff said.

However, the reason Red/Green got remakes is because there needed to be a way to get the national dex completed on the GBA without the use of AR. Getting the three starters without remakes were pretty difficult.... plus the other Pokémon that were both unavailable in R/S/E. The reason G/S got the remakes was just demand. I see no other reason other than the fans wanting it.

I just find it weird that Generation III all of a sudden is one of the best generations of all times after someone mentions the word "remake". Not that I hate it, but I just find it very odd, since generation III was hated quite a while back.

It's really hard to assume what characters will or will not be in. It depends on primarily what the developers want in terms of franchise, mainly Nintendo. Most new characters will relate more to what Japan wants rather than westerners.

IMO, I can easily see Lloyd Irving as a character, due to the fact he is the most renown character in the Tales of... series, both Eastern and Western. That and Namco is developing Smash this time AND the head of the Tales of... series is part of the next smash development team, which gives a greater chance of featuring a Tales of... character. I say Lloyd because he's one of the more popular character and essentially revolutionized the Tales of... series in the west, making the series that much more popular. Lastly, in the recent modern Tales games, the gameplay is fairly similar to that of smash, which can easily be thrown into a smash format.

I can also see Shulk from Xenoblade as another character. The Xeno series definitely has not seen some Nintendo action only until recent, but when blade hit the Wii, it was a top seller in both Japan AND EU. Also that and Namco also had some relations in the Xenosaga series as the publishers, with the developers "Monolith Soft"; the same Dev. Team who had made Xenoblade.

There are only just a couple of predictions I made and sadly a lot better ones than I've seen on other forums, even the main smash forums. There's a reason I'm never on those boards because it's a huge group of elitists and dealing with it is just not fun.

Best name ever is Brobat.

But that may just be me being me. Sadly I always name it that every time I get one. Then again, why not, it's possibly the best Pokemon to have playing through ANY game that he's available in (Black and White

Not necessarily Majesty, depends on the electric Pokémon. Some like Pikachu and Raichu have very bad defenses, so all it takes is high damage moves + high attack/special attack from the attacker and it's usually enough. Swampert especially is good for this (though you would probably use a ground move regardless, but aside from the point).

Yes, type match-ups are important, but if you if you know Pokémon very well, it becomes a lesser important factor (occasionally).

Definitely a battle between Pokémon and Touhou, but rest assured that Pokémon wins in this situation.

I grew up with this series, like any other Nintendo veteran (unless they never had a handheld, of course), and it has always been fun. I'm still deciding between continuing to play it casually or go into the competitive area. I mean, yes it can be difficult to master, but the Meta ALWAYS changes, which is good for anything that's competitive, since it keeps it alive and keeps the people from flaming each other on which Pokémon is BETTER in its tier.

Now, the reason I chose touhou as a second is because I still need to know a lot more about it before I can even think about making it a favorite series. Sounds weird since I know 90% of ALL character's names by heart (including PC-98 games' characters). But yea...

Pokémon is my favorite and will stay there for the longest time.

Well, being the 2hu fan I am, I would more than definitely go with gensokyo, even with the inevitable chases from youkai and the likes. Just the kind of dedication I have towards the series I guess.

There are definitely others such as the tales of series and such, but gensokyo comes first before everything else =o.
