I beat Shantae and the Pirate's Curse again a little while ago. I was trying to 100% speedrun it for an achievement, but I was still just that little bit too slow. I'll probably try again tomorrow. Either that or dedicate my time playing to try and defeat the final boss with no damage. Either way, I expect many rage quits.

I'd rather a hood because I live in da hood, yo diggidy dawg it's a heckuva lot more convenient than carrying around some big old umbrella. Even the little pocket ones feel kind of clumsy to hold for me, so I'd rather just use a hood or something. Though before I had glasses that became huge targets for rain drops I used to just do nothing since the rain feels so nice.

I haven't read it in a while, but I think I read up to around halfway through the Black and White saga? It was actually really entertaining and if I get the chance I'd gladly consider catching up and checking out the X/Y saga.
Funny enough, I actually enjoy it more than the anime. More diverse set of characters since it follows the games more.

I actually ended up being gifted Red and Blue at the same time, same with Gold and Silver so I never had to choose there. After that I 'chose' Emerald (AKA, played it on the emulator) and I also chose Platinum. When I was at a friend's and allowed to create my own game file on either Fire Red or Leafgreen I actually chose leafgreen because I like green more than red. Since then, I didn't get a choice on which Gen 5 game I played, and I still have yet to play any Gen 6 stuff.

I have been a Chandelure main from the word go. Basically, I wasn't even planning on getting this game until they revealed Chandelure as a fighter. THAT POKEMON SINGLE-HANDEDLY SOLD ME ON A WHOLE GAME.
It's also the most ridiculous combination I have ever seen. A Power Type Zoner? WHAT? It also seems to get a lot of heat due to the newbies spamming the lazer and nothing else. It's a shame s/he has a hard time against people who know how to Counter Attack Dash Cancel since his melee attacks are soooooooo slooooooooow. But yeah, basically I love Chandelure as a pokemon so the lovable goofball is my main for probably the entire time I'll play the game.

I haven't tried Sticker Star though from what I've seen the reception for it was lukewarm at the absolute best. If Colour Splash DOES go the Sticker Star route, I at least hope they make combat meaningful. I enjoyed Super Paper Mario though I found the backtracking a little bit frustrating since I didn't enjoy the more platformer feel the game had as much. Paper Jam is actually hilarious because of how easy game breaking glitches are to perform (Seriously, if you can run into a rock and wiggle back and forth a bit you can just clip right out of bounds.) Now, to get back on topic my favourite is Thousand Year Door. The combat is WAY more polished than it is in 64, to the point where replaying the original is a bit harder nowadays, and I adored some of the chapter mini stories SO much in thousand year door. Namely 3, 4 and 6, whereas in the original it was really only 4 and the beginning of 7.

Mmmm I think for me it's between Kirby, Metaknight and Dedede.
Kirby is one of the few franchises where I can NOT get enough of the main characters. Kirby is just so lovable in his versatility and adorableness, Metaknight is just a serious boss, and Dedede is the best of all Kings. He has so much childish pride that it's just cute.

I ouldn't get into Earthbound Beginnings at all, I started Earthbound and then kind of lost interest when I couldn't figure out where to go and then I played Mother 3. In terms of gameplay HOMIGOSH I think it's the best one. I actually know where to go and can go there AT MY OWN PACE (GOSH I wish more games would do that), the battles are still charming like they were in Earthbound and MMMMM the atmosphere was spot on. I had some issues with the story, but it was otherwise a fantastic time. I can understand the hype around it. Getting Earthbound to the virtual console and Smash brothers have done WONDERS for getting Earthbound a bit more attention but I'm STILL waiting for Mother 3.

Best deal I ever got was finding a copy of Zack and Wiki: Quest for Barbaro's Treasure at a bargain bin outside of EB games (The Canadian Gamestop) for like, 9 bucks. This was made even better when I found out they released the game on the Virtual Console for around 20$. It's a charming puzzle game too. I should really get around to finishing it sometime, because it's an under-appreciated little gem.

Ooooh nice to hear the variation so far on people's favourite sonic games. My personal favourite is still probably Sonic Generations. Or at least, half of it. I'm still not huge on 2D platforming, but I adored all of Modern Sonic's stages to death. Especially Rooftop Run. Most fun I've ever had in a sonic game. Made it tempting to get Sonic Unleashed until I remembered that the Wii version split up the werehog stages for whatever reason .-.

Can you actually add me to your summon list if you do one? Because I've already fallen in love with your style ^.^' It's so.... I dunno if bouncy is quite the right word to use, but I wanna use it. Words are hard... but I think I'm more or less trying to say that your characters NEVER look static. Even Link when he's posing looks dynamic, which is AMAZING. (And then when you already had me sold, you did the Battleblock stuff and you just sold me even harder XD).
So basically... I love your stuff... (WHAT TIPPED YOU OFF, GENIUS!!)

Last game I played was Mother 3. The Chimera Lab highlighted every reason why I will NEVER play a horror game. Ever. Even though all I would lose is a tiny bit of time (I was spamming save states the whole time because I was TERRIFIED), I was scared stiff the whole time, (No seriously. I jumpscared myself when entering every room) and even stressed out. But now I'm officially done so I can carry on with more fun parts of the game.

I played a lot of games as a little kid, so it's hard to pinpoint which one is still my favourite today...
Wait. No it isn't.
Paper Mario. Pokemon XD is a close second, but Paper Mario is just that little bit more to me. The characters were fun and unique, the battle system was amazing, and only got more polished in the second game... I'm pretty sure I still have one save file with over 99 hours on it. Over 90 of those hours were just spent grinding trying to beat Huff N Puff. As awkward as it is coming back to the original after Thousand Year Door, the original is still one of my favourites to play when I feel like living out nostalgia.

There's losing one save file.... and then there's losing most of them.
It was years ago now, but I had a gamecube memory card corrupt on me. Deleted my chao garden, deleted my Super Mario Sunshine progress... it was the largest Memory card so I lost a LOT of data that day. Very very little survived that monster of a corruption. I think the only ones that did were Paper Mario and a couple of games that I rented...

I always wear socks. Always. When I was little I even wore them to bed. Granted, that caused circulatory problems in my feet so now they're always cold...
Which is just another reason for me to wear socks all day :3

I like to play games more or less vanilla the first time through (Though if there are easy exploits to be had, I don't see why I shouldn't use them).
The second time through is when I go crazy. I honestly just love pulling glitches off. They feel satisfying and there are plenty out there that are fun with hilarious results. Not all glitches necessarily benefit a speed run either. Sometimes it's fun just to see when the system/game just crashes because it can't take anymore

Ooo Persona 5 is definitely something I look forward to, even if I'll probably never actually play it. In terms of PS4 stuff Dangan Ronpa 3 has also been announced and my hype for it is only contained by the lack of further information about it ^.^'
Lesse...then there's Pokemon Sun and Moon... OH and even though it's 3DS only (WHYYYYYY) the new Kirby game I can't remember the name of has me sooo excited. Kirby in mecha suits. Yes.
So in essence... every single game that has me excited, I can't play. Welp.
(I want to stay hyped for Colour Splash. I really
really do. But Sonic Boom taught me to be cautiously optimistic at best)

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
