I don't think you can ever prepare yourself for THAT particular thing you are hinting at, so it is probably better to put it out of your mind.
Otherwise from the moment you start thinking it every moment you spend with the person gets over shadowed by that one thought; "Is this the last time I will see them?".
You'll just end up making yourself miserable.
Take it from me buddy, yes live each day to its fullest and enjoy the time you spend with your dad, but don't let the morbid thoughts in, they will just tarnish the memory.

Meditation can be a wonderful thing, if you haven't tried it before my suggestion is to spend an hour a day meditating in some form or another and reflect on life.
You'd be surprised the insights you can have within yourself if you just take the time to calm your thoughts, block out all external stimuli, and really listen to what YOU have to say.

Throughout the ages I have had many animals come and go from my life.
Mainly cats, my mother is the crazy cat lady
But there have also been a variety of others including a ferret, some dogs, mice, rats, rabbits, birds, goldfish, and even a tortoise.

I'm not sure if any of them are "unusual" pets, I'll leave that up to the reader to decide.

Depending on the animal "spaying" is fine, obviously some animals don't need to be but in most cases yes it's better to when it comes to the common domestic animals.

Honestly I haven't had a pet in years and I don't know when I might want one again, but if I was to get one it would depend on the animal as to where I would get it.
A dog or a cat I might get from a shelter if it's young enough, that way I could give a poor lost soul a second chance at life and hopefully undo the damage that was done to it.

A very tricky decision to be made for certain.
I'd probably put aside only a portion for charitable causes, and I wouldn't give it all at once.
Charities are notoriously greedy and don't really spend the funds in the ways they should.
Actually come to think about it I might go as far as setting up my own not for profit.

If one doesn't count helping ones friends as having a bearing on me or family personally then that's one thing I'd do, help them with money/housing/etc, though to me my friends are more then family so it might not count.

So I guess some money is going to medicine, some is going to mental health to help those that really need help in different forms, and some to the animal shelters.

Apart from thinking that things were black and white, that there was right and wrong and that eventually the ones in the wrong would lose I guess I had the same beliefs as most kids, the easter bunny, santa, tooth fairy.

If I'm single (aka now) I don't celebrate it.
If I have a special someone I might if they are around, but it isn't that big of a deal to me.
Instead I rather show the special someone in my life that I care all year round, surprising them with little gifts when they least expect it, making sure to pay attention to the things they like so that out of the blue I can give them something they really want, just because I love them

I think it depends on the code card.
Some code cards, like for example the old pokemon eon tickets, were multi use.
And some code cards, again like the old eon ticket, are still collectables within their own right even when used.
It's a tricky subject really, obviously for the one use only code cards you'd have to consider whether or not their appearance would hold any value to a collector.
I'd probably just have digital as its own category like others have said, but maybe make special exceptions for things like Pokemon code cards

I think as you get older you try and forget that you are getting older, cause you are getting that much closer to death lol.
I have forgotten my age for many long periods at a time, like right now I'm not really sure how old I am, even if I look at my profiles on different sites I'm like huh?
I think at the end of the day you're only as old as you feel, so I'm probably going to remain about 25 for a few more years yet :p

In my opinion the very first thing that should be done is fix anything that doesn't work.
So primary focus should be on those updates.
Sure more games is cool and all, but the first rule should always be to make sure what you already have works for as many users as possible.
Then add more features. My 2 cents.
