I think public school is important so that you learn how to shut up and deal with something. Throughout public school you're bound to run into some problems, and you should learn when to do something about them and when you should just take it in the gut.

I don't use this site often, and that's mainly because I actually have other things to do for once in my life. I've started to earn a small amount of money at a tutoring job, and I finally finished all my things for college. Long story short, I'm attending the University of Illinois next year on a statistics major. It'll be something completely new for me, as I'll be living without my piece of crap brother for once and I'll be all by myself, plus a roommate naturally. As I only accepted my offer on Thursday, I have just started looking for a roommate. I still have yet to decide what type of roommate I want, because I feel like if I roomed with someone too much like me I would get annoyed, while if they're completely different I'll also get annoyed. Oh well.

As this is my first election I'm able to vote in, I'm really excited. Except for the fact it's becoming a "vote for the guy running against Trump" type of thing. I don't get how people justify looking at him as a president, the guy just won't work. I don't believe he has a clue about economic policy, and he's a jack@$$. His performance with regards to foreign policy will be terrible if elected.

Well I was playing Emerald, but my computer decided to blue screen last night with the plug-in so yeah, I'll see what I can do about that.

sonicmcmuffin : I've done a little, but I've been busy this week with my birthday (family stuff) and getting ready for school. I have this entire week where I have nothing to do and will do the bulk of it this week.

I'll be doing emerald then.
The only thing that may be complicated is getting all of the starters and such, pokemon you have to trade for, etc. but maybe blub can play a hack of a game that gets us all of that?
And Fire red is generation 3 but it has generation 1 pokemon in it.

I'll try to make something in MS paint, but I'm not good with graphics (on a computer or on paper,) but I have a cool idea I hope I can make.

You don't know when it happened, but it did.

Flashback to a month ago, when you were packing for your business trip.  You took 5 outfits for a month of being out of town, knowing you would easily be able to wash them over and over again.  You said goodbye to the neighbor that would watch your pets for the month.  You got on your plane and you left.  Everything was normal.

Go forwards to a week into the trip.  You begin hearing strange things about New York, which is where you live.  There are reports of slight violence and riots in the streets.  The economic downturn is hitting New York before it hits anyone else.  But you aren't concerned, and nobody else is as well.  It all looks minor.

Go forwards another two weeks and everything seems back to normal on TV.  The news coming out of New York is that the riots have turned in to spotty peaceful protests and there's just as much violence as there used to be in New York.  You feel relieved, as the outburst of violence two weeks prior could have been something big, but it looks like it wasn't.

Flash forwards to the day you left from your business trip.  You'll miss the work, as it was really just playing golf and making business pitches, but you want to see your pets again.  And maybe your neighbor too, although your neighbor can sometimes be a little annoying.  You take your flight and arrive in New York.

Once you arrive, they check you for residence.  You did not expect this.  Those who do not live in New York are sent back on flights to where they came from.  However, you are allowed in the city.  You go through the airport and exit the doors, which a guard has to unlock for you.

You exit the doors, and they slam shut.  You can hear the doors locking.  You look back at them, but you know there's no turning back.  You must look forwards.

You don't know how you missed it, but everything is not okay in New York anymore.  Maybe it was the slamming and locking of the doors that distracted you, but it looked like the world had given up on New York.  The news reports you saw just a week ago were outright fabrications.  You realize that you'll have to live life in a different way.

The city is torn up and destroyed.  There's barely anything left, and anything that is left resembles a horrible survivor movie.

You wonder if your pets are okay.

You realize they aren't.
