The story is actually pretty frightening if you read it at night with no noise around. I've never been terribly happy with horror stories/ novels being made into movies especially if I've read them first. They usually have to simmer the story down a good bit and that kind of ruins it.

Like most others I believe that music cannot be blamed any more than video games or TV, BUT the culture around rap isn't very pleasant so it wouldn't astonish me if the culture of rap would lead to violence.

I am on my third year of a two year degree, I wasn't able to take four classes a semester because I had to work as well.

And to those looking to go to college to be a video game designer, most of those colleges offering it are just after your money. I wanted to do that but when I finally got down to talk about costs, I was told I would have to take out two student loans. That's enough debt to last a lifetime. After deciding against that, I later heard from people who had attended that college that it was a waste of time and money.
They wanted something like $4000 for a single class.
Fortunately I'm attending a community college now and I'm actually being paid to take classes.
I get all of my classes paid for and I get money that's left over from the semester.

It's also true that shorty shorts are designed to show off the legs but dancers also need to have their legs free to move the best. Um, to those that don't know what porn is... You will find out about it sooner or later.
Porn is never art, but the line is blurry on what porn is. Many Non-American countries find that casual nudity on tv is not bad and full explicit nudity in movies is fine.
Also sex in film is not frowned upon, in fact some famous directors in other countries have sex in their films and are lauded for it.
If you meant art as in painting or photographs, the nude is a well-used and well- liked type of painting/photograph. Many artists have made their livelihood making art out of the beauty of the human form.

I would have to say that the beginning of Silent Hill three was terrifying to me, there was no music , just the sound of the character's feet walking on metal grating. I literally couldn't play the game past that point because it was so terrifying, it didn't help that I was drinking beer and getting a bit tipsy.
Also Siren is a very scary game and you have to "sight-jack" enemies to tell where they are and if they are close to you. Nothing like thinking you're OK and then sight-jack a shibito to find out it's looking right at you and raising a rifle to shoot you. This was played in the middle of the night with no lights on/

Yes, most of the games listed are excellent, Phantasy Star 4 is just beyond good in the setup and the character development... Rogue Star is a fine game and Star Ocean 2 is just an awesome game even in this day,  BUT
(Here comes the fanboy again.) If you want solid story and game play handled in a mature manner with a mature plot and mature subject matter. try Persona 3: FES and Persona 4. Both games are 80+ hours on the first run through and both offer many twists and turns along the way. Great for those that enjoy plot and a good game over mindless leveling.

Mostly popular games or games with a lot of money behind them. I guess it does reason that most people will vote for the more popular games, because they have played the games because they are popular, BUT I would have liked to see more "cult" games in there...
Persona 3 had one of the saddest endings I've ever seen, yet upbeat in a way.
Persona 4 had a much more upbeat ending, yet it was just as fulfilling as the somewhat "emo" ending of Persona 3. Maybe if people actually start playing good games instead of shootfests like COD, then the public will discover the hidden gems, games that are awesome and have their rabid followers but just don't get enough press in America to sell well.

People need to stop complaining about being "ripped off" when trading games at GameStop. They are doing you a favor taking the used games off your hands and giving you credit for it, even if it's not much.
You could all ways list your games on EBay and make much more money, but then you have to have an account linked to the EBay account, you have to ship the item to the person that's buying it, and hope the item arrives in good condition. Or you could go to GameStop where they will take your games on the spot with no hassle and just your signature needed.
Also all that happens with EBay, if anyone even buys your game because if it's not bought you have to pay to relist the item and that could eat up any money you make if the game sells for $10.

I like many of the choices presented here, but only one other person mentioned the best series on the console, the Persona games. Yes, they are Mature rated but the stories are so excellent and well told, with interesting game play and follow through.

Persona 4 was called the last great game for the PS2 and won many awards. This is not to say that just because a game is popular means it's the best, but many people kept playing their PS2s for quite a while after the games were stopped being produces for the system simply because of P4.

I would advise anyone who likes handheld gaming to get a Vita, simply for the fact that it will be an awesome system.
But I will not be getting it, I cannot afford it for one thing,a and if I were to buy a system it would be the PS3. Also the first version of a console is never perfect, there are usually bugs, from a PlayStation console to a xbox rig. Wait for a while to pick up a better working version.

Many games released on consoles don't make it to the computer and you might have to update your computer to play that graphic-intensive game. Like I stated last sentence, many games from consoles will NEVER be released on the computer, so I would never see a Persona game on the computer

Don't use flash drives that have a retractable connector because that allows for a much higher frequency of faulty connections and improper connections. Getting a flash drive for a lesser price isn't worth screwing up your computer.

I only use Windows as my OS but I'm not a fan of the Microsoft gaming. As long as they don't tie up a fair amount of the OS with Xbox crap it will be fine.
