Eirinn : I personally think there's a market for handheld gaming and that there still will be for the forseeable future. Even just looking at the total sales for the 3DS platform, they've sold over 60 million units. That's by no means a dead market... and that's a console that has this weird stigma of not being successful, even though the numbers state otherwise.
I will admit that the market has taken a hit due to mobile, but there are still games that really don't play/perform well on a mobile platform. Sure RPG's and simple puzzle games work well on Mobile, but do you really want to play action or platforming games on mobile? Probably not. I believe that mobile games still have a long way to go as well as it seems that most developers are into making quick time wasters, or games that have 9million micro transactions in order to further yourself in-game. Engrossing mobile games are more the outliers these days, rather than the norm. Referring people is great but the main growing issue that Vizzed has had over the years is retaining these users. Most users either just use the RGR and never post, or they only stick around for a short while. |

I've personally referred almost 3,000 unique users/guests to the site. The issue with Vizzed is that the longer time goes on, the more people learn about emulators/roms or discover other sites that do the same thing that are easier to use, or don't require downloading anything.
Most of the time, this site introduces people to emulation. Then, depending on issues with the RGR/compatibility with their system and their ability to understand how a PC works determines how long they stay. Or they learn that they can load these emulators on their PC/Raspberry Pi with better functionality and more features, and they stop coming around. Main issue is that many of these people don't post in the forums. Those of us that did for a long time, are no longer as active as we once were, or they left the site altogether. Forums just aren't as popular as they used to be 10 years ago. Not to mention that the forums on Vizzed don't really have anything of substance usually to drive people to want to post. I believe one of the best ways to drive more traffic on the forums is to actually talk more about GAMING and less about whom people are dating and what they had for dinner. Pacman+Mariofan : Aside from work, not really. I do have recreational plans that I have on my calendar, but as far as day to day goes, I pretty much play my evenings/weekends by ear unless I have specific plans pre-set. |

Looking forward to see how the league goes this year. Hopefully I have better luck and don't have half my team go down with injuries.
As far as the draft day/time goes, if it has to be during the week starting at like 7 or 8pm central would work fine for me. As far as the draft day/time goes, if it has to be during the week starting at like 7 or 8pm central would work fine for me. |

Abdullahboys : No problem dude. I'm sure you will do fine. Just read up on some Fantasy Auction League Values/Rankings and do some mock drafts on Yahoo/ESPN/Etc you will get the hang of it no problem. Both sites have a ton of great information available.

Zlinqx : You're right Sega is turning a profit, but my point was they need to explore every opportunity to Sell their 1st party titles... They have a couple of decent current or upcoming releases, but people are not bending over backwards to buy most of their back catalog of games. I also have to disagree with there being "tons of hype" regarding any of their titles. Outside of the hardcore Sega fanboys I would say the hype is luke-warm at best. They don't have a single game that sniffing the top 10 in sales in 2017 and probably wont next year either. My main point being that they aren't in the same league as the top PC and console platform developers like Sega fanboys pretend they still are.
I played a couple of the mobile games, and found the ads annoying personally, but again it was an easy smart thing for Sega to do to make extra $, which at this point for the company is much needed. I'm sure their shareholders agree. I will admit that the Crazy Taxi game emulates perfectly well on mobile but again this is just a straight emulator with no added features. That would be the main reason why I'm not singing Segas praises too much about slapping some ad-filled games on mobile platforms. Seems like a no-brain decision since they don't have their own platform to release games. I went to see Dunkirk on Saturday. LOVED it. The visuals and sounds were AMAZING and you really felt like you were with those poor people in the movie. Great experience seeing it in Imax. I really recommend. If this movie doesn't win some Oscars, I'll be surprised.

Zlinqx : I actually did watch it a few weeks back and enjoyed it overall. I did find it strange how short it was. Kinda awkward that it ended right after Trevor met Alucard, but I thought it was well done.
I enjoyed the more retro art style they used, and I liked seeing some of the "homages" they showed to CV3. I'm looking forward to see what they do with season 2. ![]() Should be interesting doing a SUPER flex where a QB can be used. Seems a little gimmicky but I've never been in a league that did a flex like that, so it might be fun. I'm not sure if I like the DEF and the IND defensive player, one of my leagues did that a few years back and we disliked it, but again that's just a suggestion. I'll go ahead and accept the invite ASAP. ![]() Should be interesting doing a SUPER flex where a QB can be used. ![]() zanderlex : I can't remember any full-price steam games that I have really been irritated that I purchased. Most of the games that have been a disappointment to me were under 30$ so it's hard to complain too much. I remember being relieved after hearing all the complaints that I didn't buy into the No Man's hype and when I downloaded a copy and tried it out all I could think about is how pissed I would be if I spent 60$ on that steaming pile of trash. Probably the most regret I have ever for buying/receiving a game or accessory was when I asked my parents for a NES Power Glove for Christmas the year it came out...probably the most disappointing present I have ever received. Mainly because the thing didn't work. ![]() zanderlex : I can't remember any full-price steam games that I have really been irritated that I purchased. Decent review! I enjoyed reading it.
I'm not a huge fan of this port of the game. Whats even funnier is that this version came out as late as 1991 for the master system but is still sub-par. Which port of this game is your favorite? When I was still attending school, I couldn't have been more against the idea of wearing uniforms. I was a teen of the 90s! No one was going to stifle my individuality! (lol)
Now that I'm older...I see things differently. Uniforms even the playing field so to speak. No one has to worry about what to wear at school. If they can afford "cool" clothes and people don't have to worry about being made fun of for what they wear. I mean you can still wear whatever you want when you get out of school. Besides, once you graduate school, unless you are lucky, you won't be able to wear what you want at your job... Now that I'm older...I see things differently.
