IMO: it really doesn't matter, because sexuality is just a "it is what it is" thing. i don't care what you like, as long as you stay off the sidewalk when i'm driving.

in all honesty, I think it's something that's always been there, that you just learn as you go along. When we start out in life, we're guided by our parents/caregivers who try to aid us in "finding ourselves" so that we can develop the skills necessary to maneuver through life. if your parents teach you that it's wrong, it may be more difficult to explore that part of yourself. where as somebody who's in a nurturing environment would have an easier time.

i think sexuality is a lot more fluid than people will want to admit, but that's another story for another time.

In order for a song to be released, it has to be approved by the artist's record label. Once an artist has signed, if the label refuses to issue a recording for a song, the artist is basically gagged by the label until they're released.

You're right - a lot of music is very similar nowadays. I like some mainstream stuff, but the "generic, off-brand, no name" bubble gum pop gone slightly techno, is what's guaranteed to get repeat plays. eventually that will fade away, as a new fad comes around.

when in doubt, conway twitty your way out.

"don't forget to sign up to be an organ donor at signupforlife.ca"

ORRRRRR

"facebook is selling your data to any company willing to buy it with intentional uses ranging from ads for items you looked at amazon, to corporations hired by execs to sway the masses for a certain political agenda"

i am THAT person on facebook, and yes i'm the life of the party even if that is often a party of one. if i had time to plan it out, i wanna go out with a bang like this. knowing my luck though, it would be something more like:

"oh sheet who left the mop running"

I'm curious as to how many of you would grade him as a president, from January 2017 until now. What are you happy with? Unhappy with? Did you vote for him? Is there anything so far that has surprised you? Have any of his new policies directly impacted you?

Drat, I was too late in getting in on the fun. Congratulations to the winners!

Any idea if the TdV is going to be replaced with another contest of some sort? A logo creation, a game creation, etc etc. Just curious.

I LOL'd at the last part. I feel like there's a lot of "girls don't do that" assumptions, and well, i'm sure you're seeing that now haha.

Honestly, there's nothing out of the ordinary you need to do. Work hard, try your best, don't be a creeper, and things will work out.

Paper Mario. I'm overlooking the fact that their most recent games haven't been too popular, because the first 3 are absolutely amazing. When I found the 64 version on vizzed, I was shell-shocked lol. I still remember the excitement I got when the opening screen came on and I felt like I was transported back in time. I'm crossing my fingers that the switch one will go back to the formula that worked, instead of trying and failing to be "creative".

You can't out-anything (out-run, out-gym, out-"wrap", etc) a bad diet. I know this from desperately trying and failing to make up for my poor eating habits by going to the gym for 2 hours+, 5-6 days a week. It wasn't until I started reducing my sugar intake, and really paying attention to what I ate, that I started noticing a difference.

I mentioned the wrap earlier because that's what this reminded me of - an easy "quick fix" that is marketed to the masses. Everybody wants quick results without the hard work. I'll give it to you straight - if you get any results, it'll be minimal at best, and then plateau. Or, you'll drop weight quick, and then gain it right back (hello Biggest Loser, I'm looking your way).

You mentioned you don't want to play dancing games; if it's a dislike of cardio you have, welcome to the club. I haaate cardio lol. but I love weight lifting, and it's done amazing things for my confidence and just the way I see myself. There is more than one type of exercise - find what works for you. Besides the obvious weight loss, exercise also helps reduce the risk of heart attacks, strokes, etc.

My resolution is to get back on track with healthy habits. Before my nerve pain started up, I was going to the gym all of the time, eating pretty healthy, etc. Then I had to stop going to the gym for a couple of months, I started eating junk food, I started smoking because of it's pain-management qualities (and now it's just become habitual).

I haven't been able to bring myself to watch any of the live action movies yet, just because I absolutely love Disney and I'm scared of being gravely disappointed.

That being said, Aladdin is one of my all-time favorite movies, so... I don't know. I'm half optimistic, and the other half wonders if we really need to do all of this "live action" stuff.
