kivdabe : Thanks for your reply and the fact that you explained why! Now Kingdom Hearts II is also my favorite for many of the same reasons plus the fact that it improved greatly on the graphics. Also I didn't know that about Coded but thank you for pointing that out to me. kivdabe : Thanks for your reply and the fact that you explained why! My favorite fast food item would have to be a Pretzel Bacon Cheeseburger from Wendy's with a Barq's Root Beer and French fries dipped into a chocolate Frosty for dessert. The Frosty dipped French fries are surprisingly delicious, though I wasn't so sure before I tried it myself. So as the old saying goes, don't knock it before you try it. My favorite Pokémon would have to be Flygon. I have several reasons but the top four would be that it can fly, its a Dragon/Ground dual type, I always liked the overall design and colors, and it was the first shiny I caught in generation three. Though a close second will always be Lapras, it was my favorite before generation three came out and I played the game and watched the anime. My favorite Pokémon would have to be Flygon. I want to know what your favorite Kingdom Hearts game so far is. Was it the classic first edition? Or was it the prequel Birth by Please note I did not include Kingdom Hearts III because it has not yet been released but I'm sure all the fans are awaiting the release with barely stifled anticipation. Nor did I include Coded because it was only for mobile and of all the people I talked to, none had even heard of it until I mentioned it. Well based on your interest in Three Days Grace and Linkin Park I would suggest these bands. Band - Thousand Foot Krutch Band - Skillet Band - Shinedown Band - Bullet for my Valentine Band - Sick Puppies Band - Fort Minor Remember the Name Believe Me Petrified Where'd You Go High Road Get Me Gone In Stereo Cigarettes Introduction Feels Like Home Right Now Red To Black Band - Dead By Sunrise Let Down Too Late Crawl Back In Inside of Me Walking In Circles My Suffering Into You In The Darkness Fire Condemned Give Me Your Name End of the World Morning After I would suggest more to you but based on your list of bands you already have most of my favorite bands on said list so there is no point in recommending you songs you already own. Hope this helps if even only a little and good luck on the expansion of your music library. Well based on your interest in Three Days Grace and Linkin Park I would suggest these bands. Graphics 6/10:
The graphics in the game were very realistic to me. The eye catching colors, The smooth lines, and the detail put into every little aspect of the game really sold the graphics. The scenes for the Mist attacks were very well done and, while a bit distracting while trying to make a chain, were very well done. However it was on par with other PS2 games of the time and didn't do much to improve on what was already there. While the details put into the scenery and characters are superb, they just didn't hold up to a couple other games on the PS2 released at roughly the same time. For example ICO, while not a great game, had some of the best graphics I have ever seen and Final Fantasy XII just didn't make the same level. Sound 8/10: The sound is one of the things that sold this game to me. Whether you're wondering through Arcadia or fighting monsters in the Ozmone Plains the music always fits the situation. While it was more dramatic and movie like than previous games, the music still fit in well with the new combat style and cut scenes. The voice acting was superb and the voices fit the character well. From the slightly youthful tilt of Larsa's voice to the undertone of brash confidence in Vaan's, the voice acting was spot on. There was also several points in the story where who you had as a team leader affected the dialog, which is a new thing that I found interesting. For example, in the Henne Mines, there is a soldier at the first junction who will react differently depending on if Fran is your team leader or not. However they removed the repetitive catchy sounds of the previous Final Fantasy's that just take away something that you didn't know was there until it was gone. Addictiveness 9/10 Final Fantasy XII is one addicting game. From the myriad of side quest, to the dozens of potential combat paths and the attention grabbing story you'll want to come back and play this game over and over attempting to do at least one thing different just to see what changes. I found myself playing this game repeatedly just to take advantage of the new combat system. However the endless hours of helpful, but needed, grinding can grate on anyone's nerves, so that takes a bit away from the addictiveness a bit. From mixing in different combat styles, teams, all the extras, and the great story I don't believe I ever had a reason to not replay this game, except for the endless grinding. Story 10/10: Starting in the land of Ivalice with a small resistance movement to stop the king of Dalmasca from signing a so called peace treaty with Arcadia, this games story is not lacking in depth. While playing through the game you see the Power struggle between two major empires and the small desert country stretched thin in the middle trying to keep it's freedom. Starting as a young war orphan you play through the game as Vaan, a brash young man that dreams of the freedom that the skies offer. Throughout the game you are also joined by a Sky Pirate, an outcast of her own race, a captain falsely accused of treason, an on the run princess trying to reclaim her kingdom, and a fellow war orphan. While battling the many forces of the world and the enemy nation Arcadia, you can see the thought and attention put into the story. From the behind the scenes dealings of Vayne Solidor, to the loyal pursuit of Gabranth, and the elusive help of Halim Ondore IV, the story does not lack in characters or depth. Depth 10/10: With over sixty hours of game play, hours worth of side quest, sixty rare monsters, a couple of mini games, and hundreds of weapons this game lacks nothing in depth. I spent so much time running back and forth trying to find all the rare monsters that, while frustrating, was worth it for the achievement in the Sky Pirates Den. The side quest, while not necessary, add a lot to the game by giving you better items earlier, more Espers, new areas to explore, and several helpful items. I spent at least eight hours on nothing but side quest towards the end of the game. For a person who likes to complete everything in a game, like myself, and enjoy it when there is a lot to offer, Final Fantasy XII offers the most out of any of the games at the time. The rare monsters that only appeared under special circumstances added a while new level of depth to the Bestiary. The mini games, while not plentiful, did provide a nice distraction if you find yourself a bit stuck or just wanting to relax for a little while. The foot race in the port town got harder as you went and provided better items for the wins even though the race track and the runners stayed the same. I spent several hours running and fishing just to get the special items, while it surprisingly never got boring. But with so much to offer, I doubt the game will disappoint anyone on its depth. Difficulty 7/10: Personally I found this game difficult, but not too difficult. It really all depends on if your trying to complete everything, or just the story. Trying to complete everything will make it one of the most difficult games ever. To complete the Sky Pirates Den alone, you have to earn every achievement and some are hard, such as completing the Bestiary. Which means tracking down every rare monster, doing whatever is needed to make them appear, and then fighting them to get the in the Bestiary. Add in all the side quest, which some are easy and some are difficult, and that's another 6+ hours on top of your game play time. If your doing just straight story line then the difficulty drops a bit, but not too much. It will still take several hours of grinding plus strategic use of the new License board system early on, but it is doable with just the minimum amount of extra playtime. All in all I would say it depends on the type of player you are for how difficult it is. Overall 7.6/10 Overall I would say it is a great game with graphics that are great, but just don't stand out compared to other PS2 games of the time. With great sound that adds depth to the story and game play, but sadly missing the catchy tunes of earlier Final Fantasy's. It is also amazingly addictive with the only black mark being the hours of grinding needed to complete the game. Plus a story that will grab your attention and keep a hold of it without letting go. Add in its endless depth with a myriad of extra things to do and see and it being decently difficult to extremely hard depending on your playing style and you have one of the best games in the Final Fantasy series and one of the best PS2 games ever made. Hello Suxy. If you are still open I would like to make a request. Could you use this picture and make a layout? http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ZFb1nm8ip8E/URLJ78381UI/AAAAAAAAGIA/WOtiY_mW-8U/s1600/The+Legend+of+Zelda+-+The+Wind+Waker+art.jpg I won't need any music and I would actually like your input on the text size and color since I'm not sure what would be appropriate with the picture. You can also decide whatever you want with the text box since, once again, I'm not really sure what would work with the picture. As for the signature if you can will you make it say 'A sword wields no Strength unless the hand that holds it has Courage'. Thanks and let me know something! Hello Suxy. The game I play the most often at the moment would actually have to be either Super Mario Galaxy 2 or Epic Mickey. Main reason is because my Wii is the only console I still have with all the parts currently. That and for some games an emulator on the computer just doesn't give the same feel as a controller in your hand and a big TV screen in your face while playing it. Before I had my Xbox and Playstation 2 stolen the games I played the most would be Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy XII, Fable 2, Fable 3, and Assassins Creed. My favorite Gamecube game would have to be Super Mario Sunshine. It has to be my favorite Mario game ever. I also have several other Gamecube games I enjoyed more than others like Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, Mario Kart Double Dash, Romancing Saga, Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles, Pokémon Coliseum, Luigi's Mansion, Pikmin, Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and Lord of The Rings: Third Age. Still couldn't tell you to this day why those are my favorites but Sunshine would have to be my most favorite. Great graphics, Mario, Baby Bowser as a main enemy instead of Bowser, that cool water pack thing as a weapon, and the music are just several reasons why this game was better than many others that came out around the same time. That and I enjoyed the challenge of collecting every star when half of them were either hidden or extremely difficult to get to. My favorite Gamecube game would have to be Super Mario Sunshine. Hello everyone! I want to know who your favorite character from Final Fantasy XII was and why. Also please refrain from insulting someone about their choice, it is an opinion poll. So vote and leave a reply explaining why!

FaithFighter : Sorry for jumping in to this question but I thought as an avid Zelda player I could shed a little light. First of all if you mean that magic is a major part as in actually using magic, then the answer is somewhat. Yes you do have a Mana bar in a few of the games but it isn't actually for casting any spells but it is for powering certain items like the Fire and Ice arrows or Din's Fire. I don't believe that there is any actual spells in any of the games mainly because all you ever really use is Items and your sword. There is also the aspect as in Majora's Mask that when you use the mask it transforms his body and in several of the games the blue armor lets you breathe underwater but you don't actually use magic. The games are sword fighting based but there are magic aspects to them. FaithFighter : Sorry for jumping in to this question but I thought as an avid Zelda player I could shed a little light. I would like most of all to see a Steel type Eevee. Though I would also like to see a Ghost, Ground, Dragon, or Poison type Eevee, I'll have to give my vote to Steel. Since there isn't many, if any, fast Steel types I think a Steel type Eevee would be fast like most other Eeveelutions. Though one of several dual types would also be interesting, as far as I can tell all Eeveelutions will be single type for the duration of the franchises long life. |

My favorite Zelda of all time would actually be Wind Waker. Always enjoyed that one and the graphics are good for the time period it was made in. The music was nice and fit into the game very well and really set the mood during certain parts. Such as the time when it stayed night throughout until you got the bombs and blew your way into the cave behind your home island while avoiding being sucked into the whirlpool and talked to the giant fish guy. The music there was very panicky and with the background of the storm it fit well. I also liked the game play and, as with all Zelda games, the side quest you can do. All that plus being able to pick up a giant boulder and walk around while wearing the Iron Boots making heavy metal clangs with each step and making little Link look even more awesome just really made this game one of my favorites. I personally have never used an HM slave. Usually I'll be able to spread them out amongst my team so that none of them had more than two HM's leaving them two or three slots for better or other moves depending on the HM. For an example I'll use my usual Emerald team. Blaziken for starter with Strength and Rock Smash, Flygon with Fly, Walrein with Waterfall, Lanturn with Surf and Dive, Absol with Cut, and Gardevior with Flash. That effectively leaves me with two slots on Blaziken for a stronger Fighting move and a good Fire move. Three on Flygon for a good Dragon move, Earthquake, and a better Flying move. Three on Walrein for two good Ice moves and a better Water move. Two on Lanturn for two good Electric moves. Three on Absol for a combination of good Dark and Ghost moves. And finally three on Gardevior for three good Psychic moves. But that's just me, others might think differently. For an example I'll use my usual Emerald team. Well first off I'll let it be known I haven't seen much past Hoenn and I haven't played any of the games past Emerald. If I was a Pokémon I would be a Rapidash or Ninetails, my favorite Fire types. Or I would be a Lapras or Walrein my favorite Water/Ice types. I just think a fire horse is cool and I always enjoyed having a Ninetails on my team. As for Lapras and Walrein I like the look of Lapras and I like the skill set of Walrein. As for my Pokémon team it would depend on the Region. For Kanto my usual team is Exeggutor, Lapras, Jolteon, Ninetails, Dragonite, and Tauros. I haven't played Jhoto in a while so I don't really have a usual team for that Region but I do usually use Noctowl and Feraligator in that region. As for Hoenn my usual team consist of Blaziken, Flygon, Walrein, Lanturn, Absol, and Gardevior. I would like to learn either Ancient Greek, Latin, or Japanese. I want to learn Ancient Greek because I'm a bit of a history buff and I was always fascinated by Ancient Greece. I also want to be an architect and most of my inspiration has come from Ancient Greek and Roman architecture. Same reason I want to learn Latin to be totally honest, for both the history and to see if there are any original blueprints of the Coliseum and Athens in the original language. Japanese I will admit is mostly to be able to see anime in its original form, since for some reason it's nearly always better in the Japanese version. But also because I want to study a bit of Japanese history and culture and it would be a lot easier if I could actually go to Japan and study there. Also knowing the language is a must since my uncle was stationed at a military base in Okinawa and said that nothing there has an English translation except on the base. Everything from restaurant menus to street signs were only in Japanese and he had a hard time getting around or getting anything when not on the base, so he warned me to at least learn how to read it before trying to make a visit. Personally I dislike Sakura, not really sure why to be honest since I have no problem with Ino, and I find that a lot of people enjoy her character. Not sure what it is about her that I don't like, since I have no problem with other pink haired girls in anime. It could be the fact that she almost literally did nothing at all until Shippuden came out, or the fact that she lied to Naruto about loving him to keep him from going after Sasuke, or some other inane reason. I would have to agree with most of the points about Penny. I don't hate her character, just dislike her. I feel that she doesn't bring much to the table in most of the episodes, and is mostly there for the cliché of the nerdy guy getting the cute "girl next door" eventually. Honestly I liked Rajesh's sister (sorry can't remember how to spell her name correctly) a lot better and felt that she fit into the dynamic of the group easier. Favorite TV Show of all time? I would have to say Scrubs, JD and Turk are hilarious and Dr. Cox has me in stitches after every episode. Sorry for the bad pun there but couldn't resist. Though I haven't seen it on TV lately, I think the series ended to be honest, I do have the first couple of seasons on DVD and watch them regularly. |

Well Singelli I enjoy a few sitcoms like How I Met Your Mother, Scrubs, and Big Bang Theory. I also enjoy the show Impractical Jokers where four friends from high school challenge each other to do the craziest things. For Anime I would have to say my favorite would be One Piece or Bleach, I also enjoy Soul Eater and Black Butler. Well I'm sure that when you have a child you will think of a beautiful name, but I'm a bit biased so excuse me if I still think of my niece as the cutest baby ever. Also thank you for the warm welcome and happy gaming to you as well. Hello zanderlex! I'm happy to hear that more people are starting to play the Final Fantasy games, you'll have to let me know what you think of each of them at some point. I don't have any questions at the moment but thank you for the offer of help, though I do wonder how much the PSX item is I'm sure it's on one of the help boards and I can look for it later. I plan on having a good time and with all the friendly people I met already I can see myself enjoying this site very much. Nice to meet you and have a good time yourself. Hello zanderlex!
