Jpop because I'm learning Japanese. Frankly, i loathe both genres.

To live in an era: Post WW1 (early 1920s) or Post WW2 (1945-1953, predating the rock n' roll movement)

legacyme3 : Doh, i guess I should have specified I was thinking pre 1970s, when a Cadillac was a man's car. I could not care less for the high society paperweights they are now. Anyways, to answer your question:

Archaic music formats: 8-track or cassette?

It's uplifting to know mods/admins are respectful of my return. I didn't expece Trusted status that quickly! I don't know what compelled people to rate me, but thanks to the anonymous nonetheless!

I assume those that recognize my usernane but haven't communicated with me is due to me posting quite often, which i still unfortunately do.

Star Wars. My uncle introduced me to the original Star Trek series, and combined with what i thought to be mediocre movie adaptations, it didn't click with me.

Glass or ceramic?

It is fantastic to know that you're very dedicated with this project of yours. When I write creatively, I always thought about how troublesome making a ficticious language would be.

Set 3 made the most sense to me because the phonetics are almost homophonous with the language I am studying, Japanese, so it's more due to personal experience for me. I do agree with supernerd's point of inspiration, which i find would be the easiest way to start--study other authors' materials. Best of luck with your writing, sir.

Probably not, as people seldom subscribe to forums for toxic environments. I'd prefer not to contribute to such unrest.

I believe it was to find Mario 64 for free. I have tried to get several friends to sign up, but they remain skeptical of this emulator service..

I decided on posting this here over Crazy House (a moderator may move this if it's incorrectly posted here) because I don't really see it as a game. Thought it would be nice to introduce here. Pick one of two options given by the previous poster, perhaps elaborate on your answer (if you can) so people can learn something new about each other. To get the ball rolling...

Coffee or tea?

That would be Infinity War, which I didn't find too amusing, at least for in the way it was meant to be. I mainly saw it because of all the memes. The last movie in theaters I saw that I enjoyed unironically would be The Last Jedi.

I've got a whole list of movies that are on my hit list at all times. The next one would probably be The Best Years of Our Lives (1946). I caught a glimpse of it on TCM, but couldn't stick around to watch it.

I find the two-letter "hi" to be a bit awkward over text. Online, I'll opt for a more creative substitution, perhaps "howdy", "heya" or "salutations". In real life, it cycles between "hello, "ayy", and "howdy-do"

Yep, I'm intolerable.

I know how much time these take--my father wrote screenplays for Marvel Comics way back in the day (1970's would probably be the prime of his career). I would love to see where you're going with this. Hopefully you finish, finding motivation to persevere with such projects can be difficult. Thankfully, summer vac. is approaching and that should give you some time to grind out some material!

Not to be the blunt force of this thread, but I'm thankful that you cut off contact with her. She clearly was less interested and committed than you were to establishing a relationship (Bravo on you for being courteous and asking her again after midterms!). I know many friends that get hung up on one lady and refuse admitting, "Hey man, maybe she's just not into me".

There's a lot for me to conceptualize, since you know infinitely more about your situation than I do. greenluigi brought up some good questions to ponder, like how your relationship really was with this gal. Though this may be a more cynical perspective, I respectfully disagree with his idea that she may have been too busy to read the text. Likelihood is that she just wasn't interested, man. But OP, your courtesy will likely swoon a future crush, so keep at it and don't give up. Shoot us an update, if you feel so inclined!
