Call of Duty has definitely been overrated. Unfortunately, so is Assassin's Creed 3. The CoD series is overrated because it's a military FPS sequel to a sequel where not much has changed at all. AC3 is overrated because the focus of the game somehow shifted from "stabbing people" to "Farmville." Speaking of which, there's another overrated game: Farmville Speaking of which, there's another overrated game: Farmville |

Mine would be Harvest Moon. More specifically the Friends of Mineral Town for GBA. I'm not sure if I find it embarrassing because it's a juvenile game, or because I'm wasting time on it instead of actually planting a garden.... |

I must say, there are some very well informed opinions here. I'm glad that most forum posters have done their homework here. There's some particularly impressive stuff back on page one. Yes, I agree that marijuana is a drug. But the definition of a drug is anything that changes body chemistry. Everything from LSD to deodorant. Really? Deodorant? Look on the back, it says "Drug Facts." That's because it changes the chemistry of that area to smell better. Do I think that it should be legalized? Absolutely. Legalize and tax it. The amount of money the American government has spent on policing this plant since the Nixon administration is insane. Over the course of 40 years it adds up to trillions of dollars. Here's what the government seems to think is the real issue, though. Are the people actually responsible and mature enough to handle the legalization of marijuana? I believe that, for many people, legalization wouldn't change much more than expense, convenience, and paranoia. Having said that, there are others that I have met that I would worry about. These are the unfortunate souls that would actually let their lives pass by because they don't care about anything other than the pot. But, then again, does legality actually stop these people from doing it? Not really.... The only conclusion presented is that we're left with two sides to pick: On one side we have tobacco, and alcohol, and prescr On the other we have marijuana, holistic medicine, and a bad reputation. It's not a matter of these being the only conclusions to draw; these are simply the conclusions that are desires to be presented. Yes, I agree that marijuana is a drug. I have to admit that FF10 had its good points. I liked the sphere grid, and I liked the blitzball games, and having the summoned creature actually fight instead of the party was a nice touch. I guess I was just disappointed by the storyline because the antagonist was a perpetual cycle of hero become rampant destroyer. Then I watched an ex-girlfriend play through a large chunk of FF10-2... And I really won't say any more about it because I don't want to offend anyone. Thanks for understanding, Pray75, I really don't want to step on anyone's toes; it's just how I feel. Thank you all again for the warm welcome. Thank you all again for the warm welcome. |

Thank you! And yes, LoD does have magic. Unlike many other RPGs though, they wanted to make magic a rare, powerful thing. Which means you don't get access to any character's magic until they can transform into a Dragoon. Every character resonates to a different element as well, which effects every aspect of the magic they can cast. Even the most burly, tank-like character (Kongol) has powerful magic when transformed. I don't join many forums, so this is still a novel experience for me. I don't particularly like social networks like Facebook or MySpace either, but this site is too amazing to pass by. Considering the nature of the beast, I'll introduce myself by talking about my favorite genre of game. I've been an avid fan of role-playing games ever since I first played Final Fantasy on the NES. In my opinion Final Fantasy peaked at #7. I've played 1-10, Tactics (PS & GBA), and Mystic Quest. I think that FF 10 was a disappointment to the franchise. I know there are many who would disagree with me, and that's fine. But I really wish they would have focused a little more on plot development instead of flashy effects. Sometimes I wonder if anybody else senses a drop-off in plot quality exchanged for more advanced graphics... Most underrated RPG: Legend of Dragoon. If you have access to an original PlayStation, or some way to play PS games, I highly recommend trying it. If you like RPGs you will not be disappointed. Every attack (excluding the character that uses archery) is a combo to be executed, most of which can provoke a counter attack if you're not careful. You gain access to a powerful transformation that is actually not always the best option in combat. And the Defense battle command actually heals 10% of the character's health and prevents status effects. Check it out!
