I laughed a lot today at various things, so I'm feeling pretty good! My back has been acting up a bit though, so I'll be keeping an eye on that when it comes to my sleeping posture

I just listened to "Died in your arms" by Cutting Crew. An oldie but a goldie, I love this 80s era of music a lot

With three days left including today, tornado is on track to get the third most points scored in a single TdV. Top 2 is just out of reach for him, even if he got every single 7 pointer from now on.

As for me, I'm about to win Blue this month. My first overall jersey win since 2022, neat.

Preface by saying that any Pokemon officially classified as a 'Mythical' is just another legendary to me. Same with ultra beasts by the way. I will actually fight people over this opinion. From each generation:

Gen 1 - Moltres, it's got the same typing as Charizard, looks a lot lamer than the other two birds and you can't find it until the end of the game by which point most people will have an Arcanine or Ninetales anyway.

Gen 2 - Celebi, I've never liked this thing's design. Some weird onion thing with antennae and a terrible typing. Next.

Gen 3 - This was hard as I like all of these but I'll go with Registeel. I always kind of viewed him as the leader of the regis (before regigigas came in the picture) and he just didn't feel like he lived up to the hype of the other two. He also had by far the lamest role in the Lucario movie.

Gen 4 - Palkia man, that thing looks weird. It to this day still frustrates me that it is a water type? Why not psychic, aka the type related to space? This thing and Lugia should have swapped types lol.

Gen 5 - What on earth is a Virizion and why does it think it can hang with Cobalion and Terrakion?

Gen 6 - I've never particularly cared for Diancie. I don't hate it like some others but it's just boring.

Gen 7 - This gen had two. Silvally is lame, uninspired and ultimately pointless in battle. Zeraora is another pokemon I just don't care about at all, I think it looks stupid. There are so many good monkey pokemon and this thing fails at it.

Gen 8 - Calyrex. It looks stupid and has Celebi's crappy typing. The combined forms are cool mainly because of the horses, not Calyrex.

Gen 9 - Munkidori. I don't like this trio in general but at least the other two have something going for them. This thing just looks... weird.

I think Team Galactic was probably the scariest evil team story wise. The most well put together organization as well. Cyrus was a commanding presence with some challenging battles throughout the game. Especially in Platinum they really went all out with him and his goals/achievements.

Their outfits were stupid though

Just going to name some from every region.

Kanto - Brock if you're a charmander nerd who didn't know you could get Nidoran or Mankey. Ditto with Misty. Sabrina can get a little out of hand if you let her Calm Mind too much. The rest are very easy.

Johto - Bugsy in HG/SS, that Scyther is no joke. Whitney and her Miltank of course are dangerous as well. Clair's Kingdra is a demon as well.

Hoenn - Flannery's sun strats with that Overheat Attract Torkoal can be dangerous, I've seen numerous Marshtomps getting obliterated in that battle. Winona's Altaria is dangerous when you're not prepared, and Tate and Liza can destroy you in Emerald. Overall a very strong region!

Sinnoh - Fantina in Platinum is a demon, early Shadow Balls can wipe your whole team.

Unova - Unironically the first gym leader if you either don't know or don't care about the monkey. Elesa and Clay are also dangerous.

Kalos - All of these are very simple but I've personally struggled the most with Viola (yes the first bug gym leader...)

Galar & Paldea - Can't recall them ngl

Now that they've started excluding a large number of pokemon from every game I would enjoy mega evolution to come back. With the national dex still in you'd eventually get like 100 or more of these things. That wouldn't be a problem if in the next region half of them just won't be available. Or make only the new mega evolutions available in a particular game.

Since I assume they will be moving all the online battling things to Pokemon Champions, they can just patch that game to include more new mega evolutions over time. We don't need every mega to be in a game for mega to be a fun addition.

(Almost) everyone's favorite time of the week: the weekend! That time of the week when you don't need to worry about going to school, lots of people can take a breather from their job, and most importantly you get to sleep in a little longer!

What will you be doing during these two sacred days? Is it a lazy one this week or are you going somewhere? We are all curious to find out!

Well most games they don't do anything other than sit in their gym. I mean in Kanto only Giovanni does anything outside of his gym. You at least see some of the Johto or Sinnoh gym leaders around their city every now and then, but they are very rarely important.

Unova definitely has the gym leaders most directly involved with the plot. Kanto would be the winner for the anime as Brock and Misty kind of make that a mandatory nominee.

Same old same old I suppose. Not that I'm complaining.

It's been a different TdV for me, normally I'm much more of a well rounded competitor but this time I've done great in 2 jerseys and very mediocre in the other 2.

I've got over 70 of every kind of jersey now which is cool. My end goal is probably 100 of each kind. Will I have the mental strength to go through with that though...

I'd love to see more tag battles. I've always liked fighting alongside an ally character against enemy teams or whatever. Sometimes I would yell at them for being stupid, killing the pokemon I want to catch, but it would always be memorable. Especially the format of only bringing a few of your own pokemon (like when you team up with Steven Stone in the Mossdeep Space Center) makes it more challenging.

Gen 3 and especially gen 4 had a lot of these, I think gen 5 had a few as well but I can't recall any beyond that.

Hey Fluffy, good to see you back on the site! We have a discord server that sees some activity as well in case you'd like to join there, probably an easier way to interact with some of our currently active members.

I'll name one from each generation for fun.

Gen 1: Give my boy Venomoth some love. It's like the forgotten bug type of gen 1. It has all the tools to be good, it just really would like those extra stats. I feel like there are interesting design choices for this one as well.

Gen 2: Sudowoodo. Everyone encounters this guy but he's just not quite strong enough on his own. A mega could give him the needed boost to be a fun team member. They could lean into his shtick of not being a stick, or they could go with like a moss covered design finally turning him into a part grass typing.

Gen 3: Flygon obviously. A fan favorite, they wanted to make one, it should get one. I like SacredShadow's suggestion of increasing its special output, maybe a bug type change would be fun too.

Gen 4: Toxicroak would be a fun recipient of this gimmick. I think his design and stats could use a touch up.

Gen 5: Scolipede gets my vote here. They already nailed its regular form, but I think there are so many opportunities to create a strong and very cool mega evolution.

Gen 6: Delphox and Chesnaught, because Greninja ended up getting preferential treatment. I'm quite confident we'll see these in Legends: ZA, maybe Greninja too or they recycle the Ash form for it.
I'll name one from each generation for fun.

Gen 1: Give my boy Venomoth some love. It's like the forgotten bug type of gen 1. It has all the tools to be good, it just really would like those extra stats. I feel like there are interesting design choices for this one as well.
