My monitor already seems to be in 32-bit, so that doesn't seem to be an issue. In addition, I can play game boy color/advance games just fine, the genesis is the first game system to black screen on me.

Hello, I seem to be having an issue with Sega genesis games in general, the sound plays normally, but no matter what I do the screen stays jet-black. I think it is an issue for only me, but I would really appreciate your help on this. The games I have tried so far are Phantasy Star III (id=16028) and Sonic Spinball (id=4841). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
