Want to take some risky advice?

Bitcoin.

It's seriously undervalued right now, and as we speak, several of the big players--mega corporations--are attempting to get their hands into cyrpto currencies. Just because they are so large, and creating ETFS for the product, the value of Bitcoin will probably get close to 20k like it was last year. This might take eighteen months to accomplish though.

If you want a less risky option. . . invest in Marijuana stocks. Me and my dad play the market and we shot for 5% exponential growth every week. The market is pretty safe at the moment, and as more US states make it legal. I don't think I can legally give you out the twelve we're watching though due to. . . agreements. . . . I sure can tell you want commodity to watch though.

Not sure if the stock market is your sort of thing. It's not the most conservative option, but I love it. It's great you got that money though. Do whatever you feel comfortable with! I'm really happy for you Jeff! Use it wisely!

tgags123 : Do as you wish.

I really wouldn't want to have an emotional and sexual connection to someone knowing they will leave. I already saw the signs my girl was leaving, but pushed for the relationship to continue anyways. Didn't feel that great. If you figure your going to go through multiple girls anyways and aren't afraid of the loss. . . then I'm not sure what's stopping you.

tgags123 :

Yeah. . . It is an argument against premarital sex really. It's just that when you have sex with someone, I would presume you would hope that your relationship would escalate into a marriage later, right? If that was your only problem, then I don't understand the thread. The way I see it. . . a breakup will absolutely happen at a specified time, and neither of you will handle it well. To put it this way.

Other people's mentality: "Sex before marriage is fine, but I hope that we will actually get married!"

Your situation. "Sex before marriage is fine, but rather than being together forever, I know without a doubt that we will have to part."

See the difference?

Thanks for the added information.

Tafarijah : I understand what you're saying. It's good to let loose and have fun in life. I simply believe that the consequences of Tgag's actions while he is young would leave him worse off than where he started. Consider the following.

Cons:

1. As his first time having sex, this woman will leave a huge, and permanent impact on him. If he ends up with a less sexually pleasing partner later in life, he may compare the two and find his current wife dissatisfying, even if at first she seemed superior.

2. Because of the sex in their relationship, he will probably feel really empty for at least two or three months after they break up. If I am to break up with someone, I'd at least prefer it's before they start appearing in my dreams about more. . . basic lusts. Then it will be much easier to move on. I can't imagine how much harder that will be when he's having real sex. Those memories will be combined with scent, her movements and everything.

3. The feeling of emptyness--while temporary--will affect his ability to work and do school. With work it's not as bad an issue, but with school, the consequences could be rather permanent.

4. He may find himself struggling in new relationships simply because he cannot find someone better than this girl in the first place. While unlikely, it's a said possibility that I've heard older men lament about. "The one that got away." They get focused on this because they cannot justify having a lesser woman and ending up with my first point. This is precisely why I won't have premarital sex.

Pros:

1. Sex feels good--for maybe twenty minutes.

2. Learn to have better sex. . . and then think back to her every time you use these learned techniques on the next girl.

3. Experience an emotional bond with someone, that you will ultimately have to break, or keep fairly shallow so that it doesn't hurt when you do let it go.

4. Learn how to treat a woman, because being yourself, honest, and a good person isn't enough to find the right girl I guess.

The rewards are soooooo short term. In my line of work, we'd say that's pretty bad when it comes to returns. Tgags is willing to spend one year trying to bond with someone, having sex, and ultimately having to let them go. That's not going to go over well. If he wants to use this experience to learn. . . he should read books or talk to other people. Don't underestimate how bad the emotional pain is. . . if you want to make a habit of running from girl to girl as well--then you will reprogram yourself to where commitment is much harder for you later in life because your brain has learned that it's not safe to just commit to one girl. It's like taking a type of emotional abuse. You get rewired, and then you start acting shallower, and shallower out of pure instinctive defenses.

That's simply not a sound way to go about your life.

Dating and casual sex is not for people who want to be happy later in life. I'd earnestly recommend courtship--especially for introverts. You are up front and honest with your girl. You are showing her commitment and seriousness. You get together a financial plan. . . and you talk about what a marriage between you two would entail from the very beginning. Cut out all the garbage. . . be genuine, and have a plan.

Sure, you can date someone in the same way, just don't beat around the bush. In our consumerist society today, commitment is in short supply.

I recommend doing things the long term way in life. You will have to live with yourself one day, and if you screw up now just to hate yourself in your thirties and forties. . . you won't get much pity from people around you. Thank you for your sympathy and understanding. I've known Tgags for a while though, I don't want him to fail in the same way. My courtship was three months. I can't imagine letting someone go after spending a whole year with them.

tgags123 : I plan too. My allegiance is conditional, and right now, this is a great place to be.

Yeah, it is concerning. The new team is really cool though. Letting down on the rules was a great thing for the community. Conversation flows naturally, and I do like what's been posted on your recent thread on relationships as an example. I feel like I can actually address what needs to be addressed now. It's kindof like how I had to learn recently that truth is worthless without love. If people don't feel like you actually care about them when you explain your own views. . . good luck.

Man, how things have changed.

JigSaw : It's really strange isn't it?

My original 4k word post, which responded to about six different people would have kept the debate going pretty strong, but someone had to make sure that I wasn't allowed to even have a chance. I don't know if we'll ever find out who did what, but we do know the security was pretty bad. I remembering trying to make posts in the debate forums almost three years ago and getting messages saying "We're sorry, you can't post here." It was later extended to things like the trusted forums, even when I had the minumum TP required. I spoke to mods about it, and they didn't know what I was talking about. . . even when I spoke to moderators who were sympathetic to my political views.

I want to say one thing about this. Even if you hate what I stand for, I blame a good part of this for why Vizzed lost activity.

Conversations are controversial by nature.

The biggest thing we as human beings gain from talking to one another--it's not to reinforce existing information--it's to learn new and useful information. Echo chambers get boring fast. When I speak to people who I agree with--it's never to reinforce our similarities. It's often to understand our differences, and where that logic stems from.

When you kill controversy and censor several people or topics, you kill the life of a community. I hope to never see censorship take full swing in the U.S. in my lifetime, although I'm actively watching it happen.

But thanks. I'm having a good time now that I'm back. People are actually open and talking.

So guys, I don't have much to say other than you've probably noticed. . .

The Shadow of Vizzed came back.

I've been proud of that title for as long as I've had it. I also didn't really regret leaving this place. I had my fun here and presumed it would pretty much just get washed away. . . then some major changes happened. All I want to say is that some drastic moves were made, and it's great to see this place cleaned up. David seems to have succeeded in bringing a lot of old members back, and even I'm having fun posting around.

I'll admit. You proved me wrong. I didn't think I'd ever come back. I only popped in to check PMS and planned to do so once a year. . . yet here I am, posting about.

Beyond that. . . there's one loose end I want to tie up. . . and it's something JigSaw : made me aware of.

Remember back when me and other users used to debate around this site a lot? Some discussions got pretty heated. I remember going at it with people like Rcarter2 a lot and a few others. Most of them have moved on, though I still see Zlinqx and Tgags around here. (Glad it's the mature ones who stuck around.)

There was one thing that always bothered me though. Back when me and my brother used to post around on this website, stirring controversy. . . I would get mysteriously banned. I'm not kidding, it happened when Play4fun was one of the global moderators, and it was before User became one. I remember making a lot of threads about the most controversial topics. Creation vs Evolution. . . Homosexuality. You know. . . the really fun topics. But whenever I started to post around, I remember getting mysteriously banned and asking the mods about it. They would constantly claim that nothing had happened, and that I was fine. Things would happen such as posts getting submitted and not appearing. . . things totally disappearing.

Even Rcarter2 was confused since he didn't expect me to randomly back out of a fight. We were both stubborn as hell about those things. I'm surprised he was one of the first people to believe me when I said that I believed I was being hack banned or something. But anyways. . . it gets better.

So, you all know Jigsaw was testing the security of the old Vizzed coding, right? He succeeded in doing a lot of things. Unfortunately, too much time had passed, and it's possible to cover your tracks. . . but out of curiosity, I had Jigsaw check out one of my old threads. What he had found out was very interesting!

Apparently, in my very last debate thread I had made on Vizzed. . . it was very possible that I was hacked! You might remember a wonderful thread I had made about whether homosexuality was positive for society or not. Well, in my last post there, I had originally submitted 4k words, but not a single one would show up! Upon interviewing the post, Jigsaw found that a ton of data was missing. In his own words:

" A mod obviously deleted EVERYTHING in your original post because all I see is "Test edit". Where it says 4000+ words is probably a static field in database as it did not change when the post was edited."

Now. . . I'm not going to link to that thread because I don't care to relive much of what was said in it. This may shock some people, but I hope to be a better representative of my God and not push people away with my abrasiveness so much. I feel like I owe some people an apology. Lately I've been reflecting, and I worry I've been to hard on some people. Unfortunately, I'm not perfect like Jesus, and I can't afford to stick to my guns.

On the other hand, I think for this site's betterment, I should point out that hacking the posts of someone doesn't really make them look worse. Actually, it only makes their resolve stronger, and it definitely gave me an ego boost when I found this out. I'm just glad that I've been humbled enough to help a few other people in life as of late. Part of life story I believe I've mentioned before is as follows:

My mom beat cancer naturally. I followed in her footsteps and healed my teeth, avoiding the need of a root canal by doing a special diet. Thanks to my newfound compassion for other people and my more humble mentality. . . I was able to get a friend with Ankylosing Spondylitis to try a similar diet to my tooth healing one. (This diet is adjusted for his specific condition of course.)

People have even come to me asking for help to change their sexuality and personal lives now.

I imagine in talking to me, you'll find that while I've change some. . . I'm still the same black knight on Vizzed, but I've gotten a lot better at charisma over the years. I'm grateful about that.

So yeah, that's pretty much it. I'm back. . . I've seen a lot of change around here. (It's not a stupid elitist, system anymore. That's awesome.) A lot of people I respect are moderators, and I just want encourage them.

You guys got this, and you can make Vizzed a better place. I have faith in you--in fact you've already done it.

Beyond that, I've been writing. . . trading stocks for my dad now. (Became the company stockholder effectively.) Yeah, I lost a girl recently, but life is still good. It's good--not because of what happens to me, but because of what I do in spite of it. Healing someone Ankylosing Spondylitis is one of the coolest things I've been a part of. I hope to enjoy posting around here a lot more. It's nice to see that controversy is welcome again. I'll do my best to make use of it. So long I have good conversation and people to talk to, I'll probably stick around here.

Now for the part where I summon all my friends. . . except I'm not sure who's actually active here, and who's only active on Discord. . . . I think I'll leave this part out.

JigSaw : will vouch for me. : 3

I have no intention of getting that high up, but seeing you enjoy the website that much is encouraging. Maybe this place is a good place to hang after all.

Tafarijah :

"the only thing that will remain is a big "what if?" ... a question that will be linger in the back of your mind maybe even for the rest of your life."

With all due respect. . . there won't be a "what if" He said himself there's only one way for it to end.

And yes, I was part of an unfortunate breakup. I had predicted the outcome almost two months prior realizing her lack of commitment would be the cause. . . giving me the full experience of what happens when you know that a breakup is coming, and it happens anyways. When it comes to love and sex, we are still animalistic at heart and expecting certain things instinctively. That's why Polyandry doesn't really work out very well. The fact that we have to deal with jealousy and a number of hard facts regarding the design or biological chemistry.

I speak from experience, and the outcome was not good. I remember my girl telling me. "You never know what might happen, better keep your eyes open." Well, after she said that (she said it on accident essentially), I did keep my eyes open, and I knew she was not committed. I tried to change her mind, but I knew who my text target was as well. My story had a lot going on, but in few ways was I surprised by the breakup. I was writing out my response to her because I believed it was coming almost two weeks before she actually pulled the trigger.

tgags123 : No problem. I'm an author, I love talking about my life and hearing about others. It gets the creative juices flowing in the very least. Sounds like you had a pretty bad experience though--far worse than mine.

One thing that helps me move on from women is looking back on how lucky I am that I didn't marry them. I have had one crutch in that department though. . . my dad did not marry the most amazing woman, but she changed for him and continued to change. Now I have this almost fairy tale like story hanging over my head, only it happened in real life. I seem to keep thinking that I can do what my dad did. If we're honest, that kind of situation is rare. Besides. . . a bad partner needs to realize they are bad and show a desire to change in the first place. Otherwise you're going after a leech.

Sorry, I shouldn't have said "most girls" You and I are both guys, so I said girls because it's more relatable from our perspective. You are absolutely right though. Guys are totally doing the same thing.

I'll leave your personal religious convictions to yourself, especially since it doesn't really fit the thread, but I do feel like I should say--as a fellow believer and brother--that scripture seems to say that sex should be saved for marriage. I'd say this humbly even, if I may.

Sometimes I wonder if I should friend you on Discord. I mean, we can go on a lot on certain topics, and I'd kindof like to keep you around to be honest.

tgags123 : Thanks, I appreciate it.

Sex is but a fleeting moment. Once you have sex with someone though, you'll think about them a lot. You'll hate it even more when they are gone, especially if it's the first person you've ever haven sex with. The more you have sex with someone, the more your brain adjusts to having sex with her and preferring her. Her body will also absorb your DNA and her immune system will get used to your sperm and be less "offended" by it. It's just how we're built.

I haven't had sex either, but that's by deliberate choice. To put it bluntly (since this is an adult forum. lol) I don't even look up lewd images of women or anything like that. I take no shortcuts. Sad thing is. . . even in my three month long courtship, I did start to have consistent wet dreams about her. (Always had wet dreams, will probably never change.) So when she did leave--even when I expected it and saw how uncommitted she was. . . it still sucked. Take a lesson from that if you will. I hadn't even so much as shook her hand either.

Now, the part where I laugh is where I look back on the details and realize she was reading reader insert romance stories--stories where you are the main character and have sex with a skeleton. Yes, this is actually the kind of girl I got. LOL, but it was Sans from Undertale. Also, she only weighed nintey pounds though. . . so having sex with a skeleton wouldn't even be an inter species romance for her. : P

Laughing at how ridiculous things helps get over it. You probably shouldn't get a GF from Deviantart. She was extremely Christian on the outside too--but it didn't mean much in her private life I guess. LOL.

We guys go into this game of finding women thinking we are so smart. I'll tell you right now that most girls aren't seriously interested or committed to a relationship till they are almost thirty. That's when they start settling and don't have high demands. It's also when the best girls are gone, but that's competition for you. I could go on and on about the things I've noticed, but it really does seem this way. I love the thought of getting married before I'm thirty, and it's still something I'm going to try and do. However, most girls aren't ready before then. Even if you find a young girl who understand the commitment it takes to make a relationship work all the way to marriage. . . you may have to compete with a guy who's five years older and has a much better financial standing than you in life. It's just unfortunate, but in this messed up economy, you know how it is. (Yes, I actually do blame the economy for relationship problems. If twenty year olds could actually buy their own house and have a family they would, but instead they have to save up and wait ten years longer usually.)

I take it you haven't had a real breakup before? It's not a great first experience. Save yourself the trouble. Love will mean much more if you can actually commit to it as well.

Sounds like a good way to get emotionally invested with someone just to have to let them go. I mean. . . you said there's no other way this could end, right?

Wanna experience emotional loss after you try to fight your instincts and biology? Go ahead. My girl dumped me on New Years, and even though I expected it, it still sucked. Just cause you know how things are likely to go doesn't mean your instinctive brain will know. People have been walking around the fact that we are designed to have relationships in rather specific ways for years. I'd say to be more mature about this, and keep from doing it. You'll thank me later.

One thing that's really helped me to sleep is getting the temperature just right. My room is pretty much at the end of the house. What I do, is I predict how cold it will be that night based on the weather that day. (An overcast of clouds will cause a huge amount of insulation, so that's always worth noting.)

If I think it will be too hot that night because of both overcast and the heat from our wood stove, then I take my first precaution. I open my bedroom window a specified amount for one half hour before bed.

The other thing that will help you sleep well is a feeling of love. No--you don't have to have a girl in your life. You just need to have a good feeling of community and accomplishment with your family. Believe it or not--this isn't that hard to achieve. Happiness comes from contentment. Even if you doubt you'll ever be financially lucky enough to be married before you're thirty--you can still be proud of doing your best in the modern world.

I used to have terrible problems sleeping till I quit worrying. Best part is, my ambition hasn't subsided either. I'm just a really optimistic person anymore because worrying wasn't worth it and my parents finally accepted me in life. I make them proud, and that's enough for me.

Sorry to talk so much about family life and stuff. I just really do believe it's heavily related to a person's sleep.

Also try exercise. That helps a lot.

I have always been a loner. I don't like relying on others, and I find the tenancy to look to others for support, help, and otherwise to be an incredible weakness in our modern society. I have accomplished most of everything I've wanted to do in life by myself. I have had a little help from others, but only once or twice did I ever lead a successful "team."

The best team players are made up of individuals who understand individual responsibility. These people work hard, and know how hard it is to accomplish things on their own. As a result, when they find prospective team members with the same work ethic, they become twice as valuable.

On the more social aspect of the question, I enjoy talking to people. I don't exactly like opening up to a ton of new people at once, because it feels so incredibly fake. Even when I am promoting my own material, I feel like I'm being very evil and selfish, because the only reason I am getting invested in other people's emotions momentarily, is to sell a product, forward my writing, ect. I hate that! I only do it because I know it's the only way to promote myself for the most part. It's hard for me to talk to several people, enjoy it, and feel honest about it. Small talk is wasteful and pointless in many situations. I'd much rather speak about things that are meaningful as opposed to rehash the same general social questions/complaints/praises.

Unless you think a lot and are a similar page to me, it can be hard to talk. Most people find my views disagreeable. As a result, I have tended to keep many more of my opinions to myself, further distancing myself from most people in society.

Definitely a loner, unless I'm in a very specific group.

I may surprise a few people on here. . .

I'm going to say Fire Emblem. Why? I've only played three games in the entire series: Awakening, Shadow of Valentia, and Shadow Dragon. I still have to complete Shadow Dragon, but as I took a step into this series, suddenly, everything I complained about lacking in Zelda games became present.

The series (So far) seems to care about it'a own continuity a lot. Some games have over 80 characters with tons of conversations to unlock between them--often filled with humor and development. The main characters in the series aren't super drab like so many VG protagonists. Just look at what Prince Marth went through at the beginning of his life. Check again on Alm and Celica over at Valentia. The main series protaganists are very likeable as characters. The games have many more interesting side character if you crave even more. The technical aspects of the game are deep--both in the lore and the actual gameplay.

For a turn based strategy RPG, it's honestly the most perfect game series I've ever found. Unlike Zelda, it doesn't make one recurring, reincarnated elf kid save a world full of cowards by marching into dungeons--oh no, it's much more epic than that.

Shadow of Valentia has the second best story I've ever experienced in a video game. The only game that has done better would be Knights of the Old Republic II.

I just can't get enough of it. I want to play as many fire emblem games as I can now. I simply love it. Fire Emblem, Shadow of Valentia is the best, best game I've played in a long time.

I really wish I had found this awesome series sooner.

I honestly can't forgive what they did to Han, Leia, and Luke in Episode VII. I'm honestly surprised how well the post VI movies are received by even long time fans, when Episode VII trashes so much of Luke, Leia and Han's character. Think about this.

1. The New Republic learned nothing from the Old Republic or the battles of the Rebellion. Within on Generation and under the guidance of Leia herself, the New Republic allowed a superweapon 6x as powerful as the Death Star to be constructed under their noses and wipe out several civilized planets.

2. Luke apparently attempted to create a new order of Jedi Knights, but they were wiped out by the Knights of Ren. It's unfathomable to me that Luke-- a person who had but a few moments of training with Master Yoda would allow his own new order of Jedi to not only train someone so defective, if not powerful in the force and learn nothing from history, just like in point number 1 above.

My point is this, the new, post VI Star Wars movies have completely trashed our trio of heroes, made them learn nothing from their own battles and history, Episode VII is a safe played remake of Episode IV for nostalgia and nothing more. Remove the Starkiller Base, rewrite a few things about the First Order and don't make the New Republic so stupid, and I would have liked the movie perhaps. . . if not for Luke's implied failure.

I honestly think that all this new. . . Trilogy (Unless we actually get six new Post VI episodes instead.) is trying to replace the old generation of Star Wars with a completely new one, but a new one which disses on everything learned by the last generation to save the Galaxy, and at the cost of everything they've ever learned, transforming them into shallow plot devices.

With characters like Han and Luke replaced by completely new heroes which this generation of children in real life can watch. . . it seems to me that the entire point is to remake Star Wars into something that creates a ton of money, but doesn't exactly tell a good story.

Even as I say this, I have to admit that I liked the trailer, but knowing what happened, and how incompetent Luke, Leia and Han were upsets me. I'm not even mad that Han was killed, or that Kylo Ren is a sith, in spite of being Leia's child. Given Han and Leia's character, I see them actually having this sort of problem with their child due to their character flaws as seen in the Original Trilogy. (I honest do see them struggling to be the best of parents given Han's past life, and Leia's committed life to politics. (You don't think she would be extremely busy once the New Republic rose to power and she had to help keep several systems in order?)

There are plenty of other problems I have with the movie, which is strange, because after I watched Episode VII, I had nothing to say about it for months.

Yes.

Months.

Then one day, it dawned on me. I had watched a retold Episode VII, with new characters for a new generation of fans, and it completely undermined everything the old characters would have learned from their struggles with the sith and the empire.

Now I just can't get hyped about anything that happens after Episode VII. When you look at the Expanded Universe lore and how amazing Luke had become in that, how he had achieved his destiny, walked between the light and dark. I'm not saying that the EU had the best of lore, or that even the books impressed me most of the time. I think that even they caused drama where it was unnecessary and the canon became a terrible mess thanks to how openly Lucas accepted various writers. The books were really hit and miss.

The still understood Luke, Han, and Leia much better than the new movies are. They actually praised them as characters--not try to brush them aside with incompetence just to create new characters for a new generation of Star Wars fans--most of the time anyways.

m0ssb3rg935 :

Sure you aren't worried about it happening on our soil first? The democrats really don't like Trump right now, and they already tried to succeed with the rest of the south once. . . they proudly waved that blue crossed flag.

EX Palen :

Always nice to have someone from the other side standing in for us. It sounds pretty. . . intense. In America, we've had to deal with a lot of unnecessary violence and even Police abusing citizens, but not to that extent.
