Unfortunately I don't remember much from the older games in the series, aside from a security guard scaring the scrap metal out of me the moment I dropped from the ceiling I think it was? I don't even think you have your guns on you during that part.

rcarter2 : I can't specifically remember what it was from, I think it was one of the animated Avengers movies, but Thor is called down from asgard to deal with some super class villains that were terrorizing these guys at a shipping dock, he warned them nicely and they threw Thor around like he was a chew toy, then as they started to walk off he decided to stop holding back as much and let loose a little and decimated them in a few seconds.

But yeah, I think my thing with Goku isn't about the fact that he is just off the bat inherently powerful, because there are guys that already started off way stronger than Goku has, I think my thing is that he is always able to ascend to that next level to get things done, he pushes himself that extra mile that nobody else can seem to reach without knowing it existed prior, but he's also been killed plenty of times before and left in limbo till his friends could revive him again.

I just classify him as over powered cause the story eventually engineers itself to go in his favor, or come back around to his favor as it were.

With Superman, I mean I can't really even put a gauge on what the extent of his ability is, cause to my knowledge he's never actually shown off, aside from the tom-foolery he used against the Elite anti-heroes, I even believe he held back to an extent when facing death against Doomsday, but I do know that he can get tired if he's too battle torn and usually heads for the sun, but if he and Thor battled I think Thor would realize later that the sun was powering him and would do something to take the fight else where without a yellow sun.

I know they'd never fight because they're 'heroes' but things like manipulation, or mind-control devices have happened before, or those little Star Fish working for Starro.

I think my biggest beef with the pillows is the fact that the scent (if it ever smelled good to begin with) would get progressively worse the more it was used, the more you washed it and caused it to fade.

Scented pillows... Scent pillows... Scent..... Pillows... Pillow... EDIBLE PILLOWS, I'VE GOT IT! An edible covering with cotton candy stuffing!

Hmm, well i'd been stuck in a leo-palace apartment for the past 14 months, so anything was better than that, but a nicer Akihabara apartment would be ideal for me, it's a pretty crowded city for sure, but at least you have the luxury of blending in.

For cartoon/comic wise, I think you could sum up over powered with Goku,  Superman, and Thor.

The reason for Thor is that he doesn't really have any weakness aside from asgardian magic, so even super man would lose after the sun gives out and the source of his infinite power was slowly diminished leaving him tired and null.

I feel like eventually that smell would rub off on yo, or  for that matter, any of the scented pillows, your clothes and sheets would start smelling like that.... People might not want to hang around you if you smell like bacon all the time.

I'm trying to contemplate what a lollipop would smell like..

I'm usually pretty paranoid about things expired going into my mouth, more so since I have a deathly poor allergy to penicillin, so if I miss a tiny spot of mold on breath, or something of that nature... It'd probably kill me.

emoteen134 : Not quite sure I agree with how you greeted our fellow new comer here so to each is their own!  But even so not everyone likes sharing info about themselves, they'd rather just settle into the community as another stone in the gravel so to speak, mix and mingle via personality and let it be at that, plus I don't believe he disclosed it to be an about me thread, just an intro thread,  also I do believe his post was not considered spam, as it was a request for recommendations and his first post on the board.
