Aleim with an M. It's the hebrew word (commonly pronounced Elohim or eh-luh-heem) which King James translates as "God" in the old testament. It should more appropriately be called "The Hand of God", or ideally "Angels" because the word is plural and corporeal.
Theos is what King James translates as "God" in the new testament. It should more appropriately be called "The Holy Ghost", or "Source" if you're into the New Age movement.

Would I have the word "God" struck from the bible? King James practically invented it. Do I believe in a bearded Zeus character who sits on a throne in the heavens? Sure, if that throne is the captains chair on a spaceship, as that's the only way that idea makes sense at all. See also, Aleim.

Am I implying Angels are from space? Consider the story of Sodom and Gomorrah. Two angels visit town, minding their own business. The town gang-rapes the angels, and then the town gets nuked from orbit. No justice more swift can be had.
If you think a God would destroy an entire town or two just for the desire in their hearts, then I ask you; who gave us every emotion in our hearts?

Wait, I mean, This thread is four years old! Why are you all bumping it! Who even started it! It should be closed already!

Oh, trust me, I have nothing but anger for King James. False Prophet of the Ages. And now "The Beast" has consumed 33% of the world. Go to your local market, open up the World Almanac, and look under Religion-Christianity.

How many of those Christians do you imagine are Gnostic? (How many practice Matthew 25:31-40? How many can tell an Aleim from a Theos?)

I tell you verily, if everyone in the world could only tell these two things, the world would have peace, overnight.

Ah. I like ballroom blitz too, but I like the 'Tia Carrere' version a whole lot more than the 'Sweet' version. I also like the slower version of "Wave of Mutilation" better than the faster one in Rock Band.

My overall favorite would have to be "Don't Fear the Reaper" followed by Cherub Rock and Vasoline.

The one I hate the most has to be Aerosmith's "Train Kept a Rollin".

You Have To Burn The Rope.

This game is now available for homebrew carts on Nintendo DS. How awesome is that?

For many reasons, I'm going to have to say RoboRolling.

First, everyone's played Chronotrigger. Second, everyone uses the internet. Third, who doesn't like a good mashup? Fourth, what the heck?! What's up with that! That's crazy! Who'd have thought!

Well, a lot of people would have thought. And now you think so too.

Here is a list of songs recently compiled by videogame producer "Harmonix", for their hit title "Rock Band 1".

Which among these 58 is your favorite?

Who are these Christian noobs who seem to think that Cain made out with his mother? Or that incest happened at ALL in Adam's immediate family?

Drop these zeros and hear the story from a true Christian Gnostic.

The book of Genesis does not say that Adam and Eve were the ONLY people created by the ALEIM. Just the first. In fact, modern Genetics shows that our lineage is traceable back to a few different families. It's quite possible that there was enough genetic differentiation in these few families alone for any nearby relatives to not be at all genetically similar. (not similar enough to cause Genetic backlash).

"People started making their own families"... Right, that happened in the last two hundred years, yo. Before the 19th century, 99% of marriages were arranged.

Geeogree;
The word used in Genesis is the hebrew "ALEIM", which is a plural word, and not specifically male or female. It's the "King James piece of ----" that translates it in the way you know and love, with strictly male deities.

Aleim are possibly genderless, or more likely, parthenogenic.

Any game company that would come up with a game like Dead Rush deserves their weight in gold. Go Treyarch!

(We should all sign a petition for Treyarch to rebuild Dead Rush from the ground up!)

Hands down.
Y'all are blind.

And for PS2, you either say ICO, Shadow of the Colossus, or Rock Band. You don't say anything else.

All PS3s that have the "Emotion" engine are capable of playing many, but not all, PS2 games. This includes the 20gb, 60gb, and some 80gb PS3s.

Hardware emulation (the PS2 chip) is obviously much better than software emulation (the only thing you'll get with an 80gb system).

I say just GET a Ps2. Get one of the non-slim ones. Get the network adapter. Get a 300gb hard drive. Then get HDLoader, and back up all your games onto the hard drive so you never have to put the discs in.
It's SO worth it.

Facebook because you can program your own Facebook apps.

Myspace is too full of spam and Tom auto-adds himself to everyone's profile, which immediately breaks the "extended network" feature, unless you request every one of your friends remove Tom, and have them ask every one of their friends to remove Tom, and have them ask every.... Yeah, see what I mean? "This user is in your extended network because they're too stupid to remove Tom."

Once you manage to kill facebook's "send me an email for every little thing that ever happens in facebook" by shoving it into a muddy ditch face down and snapping its neck like a twig, allowing you to finally wrench facebook and facebook's spammy ways into submission, facebook actually isn't so bad.

Hey. I'm one of the official game testers for Call of Duty: Big Red One. Check me out in the credits under S.Mattison.

First: You didn't tell us what console you have. Since every console has a different controller with different buttons, every code is going to be different.
Second: The two games are different. They had different programmers and different game testers. It stands to reason they will have different codes. Remember what happened when you typed IDDQD in Doom 3? Or Hexen or Heretic?

For my game, (Big Red One), there is no code for Infinite Ammo in the version released to public. However, you don't really need it if you're any good at the game. There's plenty of health scattered around if you know where to look.

There is a code to get you to the final level, however. In order to do that, go to the Chapter Select screen.
Hold R(1) & L(1), then press:
XBox/Gamecube; Up, up, down, down, left, left, right, right, X, right, X, right, X
PS2; Up, up, down, down, left, left, right, right, Square, right, Square, right, Square

Good luck!

This position is open to 1 person and is for 5000 Viz (or feel free to split 2500 between 2 people if you rather).

It involves creating pixel-art style PNG graphics for a browser-based online game. Imagine a mideval steampunk techno-fantasy RPG with humans, giant bugs, and lizard-men. You can use Gimp, Paintshop, Photoshop, whatever you like! You may be called to draw castles, inns, giant sea salamanders, or barrels.

Please include a sample of your pixel-art style with your application!

Man, once a thread reaches three year status, I think the person who started it officially qualifies for 'winning the internet'.

David? What say you? Do I win some internets or what?
(I'd like to see a 4chan thread last this long...)

God doesn't HATE it, God INVENTED it. Don't you read the bible?

God created parthenogenic lizards, but then gave the rest of us Males and Females. Does that make any sense to you, if God didn't want porn?

Ask yourself; why didn't God make humankind Parthenogenic?
