yeah this game is awesome when you have a lot of down time. The other sailor moon games just don't cut it in my opinion! They are either beat 'em up or you can't use all the sailor scouts, etc... that's why this one is my favorite!

Overall:
This game was excellent!! For those who enjoy games like Pokemon and Final Fantasy franchises, or for fans of Sailor Moon, this game is a must! The game follows Usagi and the other sailor scouts as they try to save the world from an altered destiny. This game is a turn based strategy game, which can make the game-play slow with a lot of leveling up, but the ability to use combined attacks (link techniques) is not only a treat for sailor moon fans, but makes battles more dynamic and speedier.

Graphics:
For super nintendo, the graphics are great. At times the game can be choppy or slow during a battle scene, but it always fixes itself. I loved watching the different link technique attacks. The battle graphics do leave more to be desired because the enemy is always stationary, but that could just be an opinion of a spoiled gamer.

Sound:
The music is typical for sailor moon, and the grunts and yells from the sailor scouts when attacking/being attacked can be annoying, but it also makes the game more realistic because the voice actors for the game are the same voice actors for the show (at least for the most part, Sailor Jupiter in particular sounds identical to her anime voice).

Addictiveness:
This game was very addictive. I found myself itching to play throughout the day, especially because the story is so intricate. The game is broken up by chapters, and I was highly motivated to get to the next chapter or sub-chapter because of this gaming structure. By breaking up levels into chapters it makes the game play seem less lengthy.

Story:
As previously mentioned, this story follows Sailor Moon and the Sailor Scouts in their mission to save the world from an altered destiny. The story really sticks to the anime guidelines by adding enemies and friends from the anime to really make the gamer feel immersed in Sailor Moon's world.

Depth:
This game is extremely long! It even warns you at the beginning of the game to save often because the game is so long (I highly suggest utilizing the F2 save frequently). There are five main chapters, with sub-chapters throughout the game. If you are looking for a long game with a lot of substance, I highly suggest this game.

Difficulty:
This game was not extremely difficult; at times the bosses proved difficult, but planning ahead with lots of items really helps. The most difficult part of the game is finding out what to do, and if you make a mistake the game will usually reroute you (which can really help if you're stuck or be annoying if you are trying to go back to a shop). This game is more for the story than the difficulty, so if you're looking for a good play with an intricate story, I highly suggest this game.

I have tried several times now to try to play Fire Emblem - The Sacred Stones. Whenever I load it the emulator says that the "cannot open file C:/blahblahblah" then it tells me "unsupported file type" and then "FileRun()failed". I've rebooted my computer, tried on a different web browser (currently I am using the newest version of chrome because my GBA games do not fit inside the screen when I try to use firefox, but I tried to load it via that browser and it still did not work). I'm not sure if anyone else is having this problem or if it is just me, but I thought it was worth being reported because this game is supposed to be awesome and it would be nice to give it a shot.

let me know if there are any solutions or if anyone else is having this problem
Thanks in advanced!

I loved this hack of Fire Red. The starters are the same as fire red, but you are immediately faced with pokemon from the first generations as well as d/p pokemon. I enjoy that the gym leaders are not required to be challenged in any specific order. I also liked that there was a more of a narrative than the old fire red game. You are the son/daughter of a previous champion (our hero from the Brown hack) working to follow in your father's footsteps (however this is reminiscent of pokemon emerald/ruby where your father is the 5th gym leader). I think my biggest critique of the game is that the variety of pokemon that are available in tall grass is not what I was expecting. Do not get me wrong, there is not a lot left to be desired from this game -- it is excellent, however, I would like to encounter more rare pokemon. Besides that this game was great, hands down. The maps and gyms are completely new; this is something I never truly appreciated until I started playing pokemon hacks regularly. I always thought that it was the gym leaders pokemon/elite four that created the challenge, but I found the lack of direction a little challenging at time. I needed to run back and forth and decide which city to go to, but receiving the FLY HM early in the game helps cut down on travel time. All in all this game was excellent. The gym leaders were actually challenging, even with my extreme training, and you can actually play this hack all the way to the elite four (something I really appreciate).

Thank you so much to all the staff for all they do. I love this site and all the great things it does and even though I'm new I know that I'll stick around just because of the nice people and the incomparable RGR gameroom! Thank you to everyone and I wish all of you the best holiday season

I try to keep it to myself...mostly because I'm in my 20's haha...but if someone finds out they just give me a smile or a giggle and that's about it :] I think it's less "nerdy" for a girl, even at my age, because of all the adorable pokemon and the nurturing aspect..plus it's a classic! besides, I'm a nerd for other reasons lol
