Pokemon Ruby

Pokemon Ruby
Pokémon Ruby....this is the game. This is the game that made me play it all night during school days. Then, it made me play it all day in the weekend. This masterpiece is a small part of my childhood and one of my favorite parts. What am I doing? Let's start the review.

        Graphics:10
Game freak took a big step forward to the Game Boy Advance. Many fans were enrage to the fact that the graphics look nothing like the first and second generations, but many fans disagree. In my opinion, this generation is the most beautiful of all the games. You could feel a scent of adventure through the towns and the routes,(my favorite moment being my first peek at Ever Grande City. The lustrous fields and the happy toned music was worth for the battles. So I'm giving the beautiful game a 10.

       Sound:10
Along with the graphics, the sound changed dramatically in the third gen. Almost, each track in Pokémon Ruby had trumpets, and the trumpets would give you the feel of victory, that you would give your best in each battle. Not to mention the Elite Four theme. The theme literally gave me goosebumps when I faced Sidney, the first of the Four. Game freak went through the limitation of the sound in the Game Boy Advance and made it a great trip through music.

      Addictiveness :9
The addiction in this thrilling. The addition of 135 new Pokémon, the most added since Generation I (at the time of its release), bringing the total to 386. Many new Pokémon have previously unseen type combinations, while onlytwo of them are related by evolution to olderPokémon. Two new forms of Unown are also introduced. A brand-new region, Hoenn, with its own set of eight Gym Leaders and Elite Four. Player characters are also different from before.Seven new Poké Ball variants, replacing those found in Jo... Read the rest of this Review
