Five Nights at Freddy's 2 Review
Freddy Fazbear and friends are back for another attempt to get you in Five Nights at Freddy's 2!
I got this game as an early Christmas present on Steam from my boyfriend after I played the first one with some of my friends. We never finished the first one, but oh how it scared us! At one point we knew Freddy was going to get us after the power cut off and we still jumped in fright!

But that's the first game. Let's talk about the second!

Five Nights at Freddy's 2 takes place in the new Freddy Fazbear's Pizza restaurant. Like the first game, you play as the night security guard. Working from 12am to 6am, your job is to keep watch over the restaurant for any unusual happenings. What you don't know is that the beloved animatronics come alive at night with the intention to hunt you down. Along with the new and improved Fazbear mascots, you'll have to deal with some old faces too. Just make sure you keep an eye on that music box...the toy hidden inside isn't one you would want to find within a Kinder Surprise...

Graphics - 8
There's no doubt that this game has some amazing graphics for the efforts of one guy. The animatronics, settings and camera transitions are pretty in-depth, detailed and smooth. I feel there could've been some more detail added to the actual movement in the animatronics, as all of them are still imaging save for the death animations. This doesn't bring the game down overall, though. The graphics are still brilliant for such a game nonetheless :)

Sound - 9
Sound is a crucial element to performing well in this game. Especially when checking the vents for animatronics. Playing with your sound on mute just isn't the same! A lot of the game's tension and atmosphere is created by the sounds of movement, breathing and the screams of an animatronic reaching you and ending the game. The lack of the music-box styled Toreador March that Freddy plays is now replaced with the wind-up playing My Grandfather's Clock. ... Read the rest of this Review
Brutal Mario (english translation)

Brutal Mario Review
Ahh, Brutal Mario. One of the first hacks I ever played. I first played the original Japanese version of this hack when it was still on Vizzed, yet the story and controls mentioned in-game were difficult to understand, due to them being in Japanese. Now, when the English translation was released, it was quite the sigh or relief. Fans of the hack could now enjoy the game and the story without having to go off and learn Japanese.

This hack is one of Super Mario World and it takes on a slightly twisted but funny story, where Mario is hungry and goes out to look for dragon eggs to eat. Along the way, he will battle foes old and new, including a variety of bosses from outside the Mario world.

I originally started playing this hack in 2012, have since finished it, gone back and forth playing snippets of it and 3 years down the line I'm going to give it a review!

Graphics - 9
If you've played the original Super Mario World, you will notice that the game graphics are exactly the same. Beautiful, innovative and detailed for it's time and console, especially for a 2D platformer. When it comes to renders of bosses from other games, they blend in quite nicely. Most as if they were in the original Super Mario World themselves. Some are lower quality, but it adds an extra retro touch to the hack.

 Sound - 9
Brutal Mario features all of your favourite tracks and in-game music from the original Super Mario World. The majority of which are catchy and no doubt will have you humming along as you play!

Addictiveness - 8
If you're a player like me, no doubt you will have missed some secret levels during your first playthrough. If not, you are a wizard. But exploring the entire map and getting to as many secret levels as possible is always rewarding. Who knows, you might even meet some new bosses to battle!

Story - 6
Most of the story is explained during the very first scene. Mario is hungry and goes out looking f... Read the rest of this Review

Earthbound Review
Graphics
The graphics of enemies during a battle tended to be very good, but when exploring in-game, the quality of some characters, buildings and text were a little bit of a let-down. Even with it being a retro game, I still say the graphics were pretty impressive for the game's age.
Sound
The music of Earthbound was very catchy indeed! I especially enjoyed the theme from Onett. When it came to fighting Giygas as a final boss, the game's soundtrack suddenly became very eerie, but very effective. The sound effects both in battle and in exploring the open game world were exceptionally impressive.
Addictiveness
I continued to play Earthbound until I finished it completely, I was determined to play nothing else until I managed to finish it! There is no doubt I would happily play this game again!
Story
The game's plot was very interesting and unique to other games I've played. Earthbound has a curious storyline, it was completely different to any other game story I've seen before. The in-game depth of this plot gets deeper the more the player is involved with the story. The plot was much more than I expected!

Depth

Earthbound took me a very long time to complete. I wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything at all, it was totally worth the time it took for me to complete it! This game is very In-Depth and very open for exploring! A perfect game for any RPG fans!

Difficulty

I only found Earthbound a hard game if my levels weren't high enough and at the beginning, as enemies proved tough against me as a Level 1. It takes a while to get used to the system of battling, since there are allot of possibilities of effects from PSI moves or exploring places like the desert. Whereas using a PSI Healing came of very good use in most situations of battle mishap!

Overall

I really enjoyed playing Earthbound. The storyline, Depth and soundtrack were perfect for my liking! Any fan of RPG's made... Read the rest of this Review
