You should all be able to load and save your game progress on the games again. Also, the screenshot taking abilities should work again as well.

The site still has a few more issues that need to be worked out but once those are taken care of, I'll make an official announcement letting everyone know that vizzed is back to normal.

The server transfer is complete. Still need to transfer RGR Plugin save files and screenshots though, so that might take around 12 hours. This means that any save files you make during this time may get overwritten.

The site should be a bit faster now

Site will begin migrating to the new server, and it will take anywhere between 12 and 24 hours. Any save files and uploads made during this time will probably be lost so if you're currently playing a game on the site, I suggest you save your progress now and find a game to play that doesn't require saving.

I'll make another announcement when everything is done.

The site will be transferring to a new server (and it'll probably be faster). The current has some issues with it and some other problems I can't speak of publicly, so we'll be transferring over to a new server sometime within the next 48 hours. I'll make another announcement when the transfer begins (the RGR will probably be down during the 12 hour transfer). The site may be up and down during this 48 hours period.

I apologize for the inconvenience but things came up that took me by surprise, I hate having to do transfers during the weekend and it definitely wasn't my decision so I hope everyone understands.

The New Chat Room that launched a few days ago is now mobile phone compatible. Before you had to have a flash enabled browser, now you can get in with a browser that doesn't support flash.

You can find the Chat Room links at the top of the page.

As said before, the chat room is lag free, tons of better features, and it stays up even if vizzed goes down.

Vizzed has upgraded chat rooms again. The new chat room is located on a different server which means that if Vizzed is down, the chat room wont be. Use your Vizzed board login details to get into the chat room.

Currently you need a Flash compatible browser to get into the chat room but that'll change on Monday.

Something I should point out. The chat room no longer logs your chat minutes (maybe in the future it will though) and it also no longer costs Viz to use the chat room.

The chat room is not only lag free but is just filled with tons of nice features. Here's a few worth mentioning:
-Can be in more than 1 room at a time (and it lets you know when each room gets a new message)
-Can embed youtube videos to chat
-Shows who is typing and when
-Custom Avatars (this feature will be available on monday)
-A special chat room with a media player
-Chat History
-Better mod options for the staff
-Lots of adjustable options for each user
-Tons more, you'll just have to try it out to see

For those who are unfamiliar with this, as a way to say sorry for the problems Vizzed has been experiencing for the past 2 months, I made it so you get triple the amount of Viz for referring users. I also made it so that games are 75% their original Viz price. These offers was suppose to end 2 days ago but I'm extending it until July 1st.

The site Maintenance is complete and this means that everyone should be able to save their game progress on the RGR games now. Other features on the site that involve uploading should also work again. We will be having some more maintenance sometime within the next 7 days. Lastly, I'd like to give a big public thanks to lorreleibailey for donating $250 to the site and a total of $450 over the past 2 months. I'm looking for members who will have a lot of free time this summer (aka June, July and August) that are willing to help out with the Retro Game Room (and who also want to earn lots of Viz). I'm looking to hire about 10 people and each person can apply for 2 positions. I will be appointing the new staff on June 6th and that's around the time you will begin working.

Requirements
-Must be a trusted member or have at least 50 posts
-Must have been a member for at least 30 days
(or have at been here for at least 6 months and have at least 10 posts)
-Have at least 10 hours a week that you can set aside to helping out
-Be willing to help out users when they have problems or questions with the RGR

Available Positions
-Game Testing: You'd test out games in each of the available emulators to see if there are any problems
-Game Reviewing: You'd thoroughly review games in the RGR that you think are good
-Hacked Game Reviewing: You'd review hacks and compare them to their original game
-Hacked Screenshot Taking: You'd take screenshots of Hacked games
-Screenshot Adder: You'd add screenshots to games missing them
-Box Art Adder: You'd add box art graphics to games missing them
-Screenshot Rater: You'd rate screenshots that users have submitted
-Review Rater: You'd rate reviews that users have submitted (and also comment on them)
-File Adder: For a future feature, you'd find and add files to games such as manuals, walkthroughs, music, maps, etc (this is equivalent to 2 positions)
-Video Recorder: For a future feature, you'd record yourself playing games, add it to youtube and than link it to the game page (this is equivalent to 2 positions)

Additional Positions for a future 'Flash Game Room':
-Flash Game Screenshot Taking: Take screenshots of the flash games
-Flash Game Reviewing: You'd review the flash games
-Flash Game Submitter: Go around gathering flash games and than adding them (this is equivalent to 2 positions)

Every day the save file manager use to backup all your save files, I disabled the auto-backup earlier this month but if you lost a save file that was created before than, you might be able to recover it. NOTE: That page only works with Firefox.

Earlier on Sunday, the Database crashed due to overwhelming strain on the server which resulted into 50+ user accounts being dropped from the database. I was able to recover most of the accounts but for those whose accounts weren't recovered, I'll compensate you 10,000 Viz and also help you recover your old save files.

I'm very sorry for this, as stated in the previous Announcement, the server strain will be an issue of the past within a few days.
