Home Alone 2 - Lost in New York I also find it sad that a Simpsons Animator's life was compressed into a sucky game. If it wasn't for that, I would bash this game completely.

The Sims: Online

When you make something go Online
Now, this is just a Mini-Review to pass some time until I feel like continuing the Harry Potter Reviews. Back in the 1980's or so, (I wasn't around at the time) Will Wright made a game Called SimCity. And no, not the one we got in 2012. This game had Maxis make Life Simulators throughout the 90's. In 1998, Project X was turned Into Project Dollhouse. What was Project X, You may ask? It was what Maxi's formula for Money and a Solution.... And in 1999, Project Dollhouse evolved into the game called The Sims. The Sims got so popular that in 2001, The Sims Online was released in Retail.Graphicwise, this game is poor, because In my Harry Potter SS PC review, I compared the SS graphics to Sims Graphics, in other words, It just looks like a bunch of walking pixels. The Sound Is ok, with a few Out of Sync Parts, from my experience with it in 2007.This game was one of the best Ideas, and I want to go back to it badly. There was so much to do back then, and It was like what Poptropica, if kids still play it.The rest are insufficient because they do not apply in the game, Sorry for the inconvienince. What caused the downfall of this game? You may ask, It is, EA was not making enough money to keep TSO Alive , and in 2008, It was shut down for good. People are now trying to restore it, so you might be able to see what it was like back then. I miss this game, and hope for the best on the Restoration. This may be more of a game discussion thread, but here is someone who might be intrested.Mega Mewtwo X:

Do I need to do this again?
Now, I know this is getting repetitive, but I decided to finish this review series when the new PC games for the VGR kicked in. and also, these games are different from the PS2/Gamecube games.

Graphically, this game is beautiful for a EA game back in 2001. This was 1 year after the release of The Sims, another EA game, which looked like a spill of pixels and colors, while this game is in 3D. Although the faces on some of the character models looked like they were melted completely into the skull, The Beasts, like the Pixies, Snails, and Gnomes, (Potato-Shaped beasts that confiscate your beans) were fascinating-looking creatures.

The Audio is actually really realistic, and sounds like the movie counterparts, but the reason this gets a 7 is because the main character (Harry) barely has anything to say, except for the spell names and about 2 lines where he tries to give the player instructions with his own mind, like saying, "I wonder if I can cause a diversion here to get over there"

This game may be pretty obvious on your goals and such, but it gets addicting once you finish, and has great replay value for speedrunning, keeping you curious on how you could skip 1/8th of the level with glitches.

The story is very great, but due to those being offended to spoilers, this one will not go out into detail.

Now, for a beginner of the series, this has much to offer. you get 4 spells, which I will only list their meaning if something's new about them.
Flipendo - Pretty obvious, knockback, Yadda Yadda.
Wingardium Leviosa - Lifts ONLY blocks, this time, unfortunately.
Incendio - Kills anything that has to do with Herboloweed class.
Lumos - Cast at a gargoyle and a bright yellow chasm will appear. MY EYES!
Now for the beans, collect as many as you can, and there will be a Easter Egg waiting for you after your last boss. Thai's the only way I can Explain it without using spoilers.

Now, this game... Read the rest of this Review

KILL IT BEFORE IT LAYS EGGS!
I haven't seen a review on this Train Wreck yet, so I decided to Make one Myself

In the Gaming world There is a Phantom that True Gamers know and hate called?Data Design Interactive. In 2005, they Made?a game Called NinjaBread Man on Both the PC and Ps2, but I have yet to get my hands on those. In 2007, DDI decided to Port the Ps2 Game to the new? Generation of Consoles, but Sony? Most likely didn't want their Asses on their Consoles, (A good Decision)? and Bill Gates probably didn't give a Sh*t about games like those anymore, and Nintendo was the Only one that was Brave/Stupid Enough to allow the game onto their Consoles.
And That's how NinjaBread Man is on the Wii.

If you seriously want to play this, get It at a used game shop and keep the receipt so you can see how much of a Train wreck it is for free.

Anyways, The Graphics Are TERRIBLE in this Game. The Main Hero character model looks fine, but everything else looks like Someone Spewed out their Food from a Christmas Party, Nuff Said.

The Audio Is the only thing that DDI did on this Wreck Right, and that is actually a surprise, because DDI did something good for once.

This game is definitely not Addictive in any way. You have 2 weapons, a Sword, and a Gun. SCREW THE SWORD, DDI SCREWED UP ON SOMETHING THAT MADE NINJABREAD MAN A NINJA. The gun works ok, but that is giving DDI too much credit.

There is no story explained except for the box, Basically saying Candyland Is under attack. Yipee.

This Broken-Ass Game has nothing to offer,? and The only thing that the disc otherwise has to offer is playing a fun game of Frisbee, or using it to light a Fire, which are both more entertaining than playing the game.

Now, This game has THE WORST CONTROLS EVER!? The Waggle of the Nunchuck Is jump, which barely ever reads, B shoots your Gun, The Swing of the Wii Controller is Operating the (useless) Sword, and Unexplained ever in the game, the Z button a... Read the rest of this Review
Harry Potter Chamber of Secrets

A Great Ps2 game

As I said in my Sorcerer's Stone for GameCube review, Chamber of Secrets was made in 2002, and Sorcerer's/Philosopher's (Depending on If you live in America or England/Ireland/Scotland.)Stone was made in 2003,although SS/PS takes place chronologically before COS, making SS/PS a Prequel. so today I'm going to take a look at It's Older Brother.

If you have recently played Sorcerer's Stone, you will realize that this game's graphics look a little poor.
although this game is older, It is only by 1 year, so it gets a mediocre score.

Remember when I said in my last review about how the Music was great, but the voice acting wasn't??
well in COS,the wonderful soundtracks are there, and also, there was the 1 thing that was missing when It came to Sound: Good voice acting.
The characters sound more like their movie counterparts, and also there Is also 1 extra thing added: Personality.

This game just isn't as addicting as I found SS to be. there are much more side quests and stealth, but It also means there are less spell challenges, which are really fun in my opinion.

The story Is great, just like the original. I do not want to spoil much of the story though, so all I will say is that, Harry's school is in danger, and things like paralysation and vandalism on the walls with blood are the typical cycles at Hogwarts.

This game does not offer as much, because there are less spell challenges, and although you now get 8 spells, 5 of them will be obtained in night quests or In the Tutorial Levels, (The Burrow and Diagon Alley) but here are your spells though.
Flipendo Makes a Return, along with Lumos, but the Gargoyle gimmick is gone, and also Alohomora, Diffindo, and Incendio return. and here are the 3 new Spells:
Expelliarmus: This time, instead of the disarming spell on the Ps1 version, It deflects your opponent's spells.
Skurge: Cleans up A big wall of Snot, or known as ectoplasm.
Avifors: Turns stat... Read the rest of this Review
Harry Potter Sorcerers Stone

Best Prequel I Ever Played.
When I got this game on GameCube in 2007, I realized that for some reason EA, Decided they should start the new era (Gamecube,Ps2,Xbox) with the Second book or movie first, making this 1 year later and also making it a prequel. Interesting Decision. But anyway, I decided to review this one first, because it takes place first chronologically.

When you pop in the game, you will notice that the graphics look very good for 2003, and at the time, games with choppy graphics were coming out, like Pokémon Sapphire/Ruby, Grand Theft Auto Vice City, and The Sims 2

The sound is very good when it comes to Music, Because the creators made calming and natural music when you were exploring the grounds or going on your way to class, Silence when you are In stealth mode, VERY Intense Music when you are spotted and are making a run for it, And some nice boss music when you are in a battle with monsters. But on the other hand, the voice acting is kind of bad, and there is no personality in the dialogue, but because of the really good soundtracks, I still give it a high rating.

This game is also really addicting, and no matter how much patience you have, and whether or not you ragequit of a really tough boss, or a part of stealth you couldn't get past, this game will always have you crawling back to complete the game.

This game has a LOT to do. you will be doing Spell Challenges, In which you will gain these spells:
Flipendo: A knockback jinx
Lumos: Spell that turns your wand into a Flashlight, where you can find secret passages, and when near a gargoyle statue, you can light it up, and make magical platforms appear.
Alhohomora: Spell that unlocks locked doors.
Spongify: Spell that makes special carpets Mini-Trampolines
Diffindo: Spell that cuts ropes and tapestries
Incendio: Spell that makes Blue Fire.
You will also need to find Ingredients for Potions, and If you don't y... Read the rest of this Review
