Legend of Zelda, The - A Link to the Past & Four Swords

Legend of Zelda: Four swords review
The Four swords, a brilliant game for young and old gamers. I've only played it for a bit and completed the main story line. It isn't that long that I remember and is a bit like a Mario game; The princess has been kidnapped and you have to go through levels to save her... But there is more to do after the main story line, but I'll tell you that in a sec.

Story:
==Spoilers==So Link and princess Zelda visit the Four Sword chamber because Zelda feels a disturbance there. Soon after Vaati comes out and steals princess Zelda. Link tries to stop Vaati and gets thrown away, then three fairies wake Link up and takes the "four swords" sword becomes into a shattered "four swords" Link. You are then able to control Link and choose where you go. The three great fairies are in the areas. Sea of trees, Death mountain (a recurring theme in the Zelda series) and talus Cave. You go through all these levels and get keys that the fairies give you that unlocks Vaati's palace. You defeat all of the levels and get prepared for the final boss battle. Vaati goes into a statue that looks like a U.F.O and tries to suck you in. You defeat him and land the final blow and defeat him for good. Princess Zelda says thank you Link and the game is over.
==End of Spoilers==(A little note, I play the 25th anniversary Four swords, so it may be different to the first version)

Graphics:

The graphic aspect of the game is top notch! It is one of the best for the game boy advance (is that the right console? I know it is 16-bit) and that is far going! I have to say, I find it more addictive than the Pokémon game at that era. (I really love my Pokémon, so it dose hurt me to say that... but it is true!) I think that it the movement of the sprites are well done too! They move clean and smooth... I don't see any problem with it.

Game play:

The game play aspect of it is easy to pick up and play without thinking how to learn. I went straight... Read the rest of this Review
Legend of Zelda, The

The Legend of zelda review
The Legend Of Zelda, the beginning of the famous series. I've played this a lot and have it on my 3ds so I can play this on the go (not sure if America has it yet though...) If you are a fan of 2D adventure games, then you will love this game. The majority of the game is sending you looking for the dungeons, collecting rupees and collecting items whilst avoiding monster sent by the main bad guy, Gannondorf. He sent all his evil minions to stop you from gathering the shattered pieces of the triforce of courage(?).

The graphics are amazing for the 8-bit nes. Link looks like a regular guy wearing a tunic, instead of a hard to figure out what that moving thing is. The music is legendary, it sticks in my head, I hum it when I play it and it is great for little children.

summery: The legend of Zelda for the NES is a great game and is perfect for all ages. It is a landmark for the series and is a must get! I am currently looking out for a copy of this game, so I can have a little piece of history... I would play this game any day of the week if I could!

Star Fox 64

Starfox 64 review
Star fox 64, one of the greatest N64 games around. Also known as lylat wars over here in Europe, it is a fun and addicting game and deserves all it's fame. As I do own a copy of this game, I find this game to fun to put down.

Difficulty:
I would say this game would be around the middle of difficulty, simply because there are many ways to complete this game, even the first level changes how you play and find the games difficulty. But if one has never played N64 game and/ or  star fox 64, it will mean there will be a huge learning curve until they figured out how to play it... or how to get to the training mode of course to boost they're skill.

Addictiveness:
I think this game is highly addictive and would defiantly go back and play this game any day. I would say anyone who play this and would then want  to play it all over, just to find all the secrets. I will most probably go on this game quite soon.

Story:
(caution, may contain spoilers)
All is peace in the lylat system, until the evil andross strikes back on Corneria and threatens to destroy the entire system! You control the main hero, fox McCloud, son of the dead James McCloud. Your team members are Peppy hare, Slippy toad, Falco Lombardi. With side characters like rob 64, your task is to navigate your way through all the planets and destroy andross's army. In the last fight, you will have to fight andross, the main bad guy in star fox 64 and the other star fox's games.

Depth:
Like I said in difficulty, there are different ways to complete star fox 64 and will defiantly need to be replayed to get all the ways to get to the end. There are 3 paths to go through hard, medium and/ or easy. Between these there aree 6 levels to get to venom to defeat andross.

Summary:
So all in all, star fox 64 (lylat wars) is a fun and addictive game that is loved by all and will always be considered a classic in all our hearts. If anyone ... Read the rest of this Review
Super Mario Bros

Super mario bro's review
Alright, this is where it all started, it is where the plumber (who also is a carpenter from the arcade machine donkey Kong) goes to save the princess and stop the really evil king koopa. This was the first nes game I played on and I loved it to bits! Although, I was not that good at first ¬¬... I have the game and a nes, I think it is the best of Nintendo creativity for the nes and it is in my top ten games of all time. Me and my friends enjoy playing this game and always have fun! It will always be a remembered game and is the building blocks for one of the most recognised game series of all time! I would recommend this to anyone who likes retro games and likes the Mario franchise.

My summery: I would play this any day of the week and I would give this ten out of ten! If you are new to this game and not sure if this would be a good buy, IT WILL BE THE BEST GAME YOU HAVE EVER BROUGHT!
Contra

contra review
Contra is a fun and addicting game yet it is near impossible to complete it without the famous Konami cheat. I played it and played it, but yet to no avail to completing contra due to the hard, challenging and puzzling last level . If I could find a copy of this game at a good deal, I will instantly buy this game, go home and go beat it until I get bored ( which would be... um... NEVER!) I would probably recommend this to anyone whom has a NES and a good taste of gaming! Summery, I find this game awesome and it is rewarding for playing and feeling what made it such a brilliant game! Ten out of ten!
