Pokemon Creepy Black
About Pokémon Creepy Black is a creepypasta about a bootleg Pokémon Red Gameboy game in which other trainers and Pokémon can be killed. The creepypasta predates the release of the Nintendo DS game Pokémon Black. Origin The story begins with the narrator’s discovery of a Pokémon named “Ghost” added to the usual line-up of Pokemon Red, which has the sprite of ghosts from the Lavender Town prior to obtaining the “sliph scope” item. The narrator goes on to reveal that the mysterious Ghost Pokémon had an unusual ability: It is also noted that if the player continued to use the “curse” ability, then the Pokémon trainer would disappear as well. The narrator describes the end of the game as being devoid of any other trainers or Pokémon and the story concludes with an unusual battle against a Ghost Pokémon who defeats the defenseless player by using the “curse” ability. “Defending Pokémon were unable to attack Ghost -- it would only say they were too scared to move. When the move “Curse” was used in battle, the screen would cut to black. The cry of the defending Pokémon would be heard, but it was distorted, played at a much lower pitch than normal. The battle screen would then reappear, and the defending Pokémon would be gone. If used in a battle against a trainer, when the Pokéballs representing their Pokemon would appear in the corner, they would have one fewer Pokéball. The implication was that the Pokémon died." It was also noted that if the player continued to use the “curse” ability, then the Pokémon trainer would disappear as well. The narrator describes the end of the game as being devoid of any other trainers or Pokémon and finishes with a battle with the Ghost Pokémon who kills you by using the “curse” ability.
