hotseat coop = best diablo ever?????
So... I am starting from scratch on a new computer, and first I had to download the vizzed RGR plugin, and next, I need the first new game on Vizzed to download, so I searched for PSX games with the most views, and this was not too far from the top... but only 102 plays? is that because the playstation plugin isn't plugin yet? it's Christmas, if it's not public maybe it should be made public? but I digress.
My goal here is a super-short mini-review, I mostly want to get out that this game ROCKS, and the psx version of it is probably the best ever because it has local coop. period! it is so important unless you prefer playing online with other creeps like us! if you have hotseat coop, you can get the best people ever into the room with you and you are guaranteed a good experience. I guess the next best thing would be to play online with someone you know doesn't suck at life.... Anyway.
Diablo is a pretty straightforward gothic horror dungeon crawler, demons are attacking from underground, and you must go underground and take the fight to THEM! return to the town occasionally to buy gear, get sent on quests, etc and then return for more action-rpg-style demon murder.
Graphics: overheard view graphics isometric style, dark gloomy world, dark gloomy underground with some scenery variation but mostly you will be looking at the creepy monsters and your hero murdering em in real time. good stuff.
Sound: Some high quality ambiance here and there, I suppose it could use more music but the sound does a great job setting the mood.
Story/Addictiveness/Depth = story is pretty good, a pretty minimalistic approach to set the mood necessary for a very enjoyably repetetive murder experience. The depth is great as you can level up gear and skills with great flexibiliy and return to do it all again with a different cha... Read the rest of this Review

crazy-underrated! link 2 deserves a second look
For the longest time, I was not a big fan of this game. I think I was disappointed that it wasn't an overhead view adventure like the first 1. I think this motivates a lot of the Zelda two hate out there. however, I think when this game is judged for what it is and looked at with eyes unclouded by hate, it's a pretty amazing game.this Nintendo games is a sequel to the genre defining The Legend of Zelda. In the first game you explore overhead viewed world wandering the wilderness finding the eight Triforce bits. in the sequel, links girlfriend is suffering from this sleeping sickness put on her back again and I think and similarly you must explore the world from an overhead perspective and visit various pounds to speak with wise men and up and sword masters and upgrade your skills and magical powers. The big difference this time around is that all the action is viewed from a side-scrolling perspective and in the various dungeons exploration is made possible with elevators helping to add branching paths and confusion to the dungeons and the navigating thereof. Also new is a system that allows forleveling up in 3 main areas, how attack power and magicalNess. the leveling up system is very well done and gives a sense of hope if you ever get to apartments too difficult, because you can always just level up your character.
Graphics 9: the graphics are simply amazing for a game of this time. The overhead map is functional, there is a wide range of interesting environments to explore, but where the game shines most is the character and enemy graphics and animations, particularly the main character. This game takes a game like prince of persia and says pshaw! THIS is how you animate a videogame character. He moves super smooth, his attack animation is quick, convincing and super functional, and over the course of the game he continually gains impressive new techniques that make u wonder how u ever survived... Metroid 05-17-14 05:21 PM

the m night shyamalan of classic sci fi adventure
verall graphics sound addictiveness story depth: difficulties The game on the Nintendo Entertainment System was I believe one of their adventure series of games when the system was first starting out, and as amazing as this game is, a lot of what makes it great is very commonplace nowadays and so in some ways Metroid might look sketchy from a modern prospective particularly when you take into account the game has some annoying aspects, so to look past the Flaws and appreciate the good in the game it helps to have a historical perspective and keep in mind all the cool things the game does that the game was kind of the first to do. Also it helps to be patient because the game is best moments are deep in the game and at the end of the game so the game really starts you out with more of the mundane stuff like the critters the crawl along the walls and everything. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Metroid is this side- scrolling non-linear action adventure games set in a spooky scifi universe whercreepy are completely alone except for creepy critters and evil monster space pirate alien things. The protagonist is very noteworthy because of this crazy twist ending that you learn about them that by now Nintendo fans probably already know but at the time this game came out all you really knew is that it's a mysterious bounty hunter character with a suit of armor and arm cannon and they can shoot missiles an upgrade their fire power and morph into this little ball that drops bombs which is really freaky and weird an innovative. At the time, being able to progress not just left to right but then right to left and UP and DOWN was kind of a big deal. Graphics The graphics in Metroid a good because the main character animates very well there's a great variety of creepy crawly critters and monsters and evil space pirates but even more than that the best part about the graphics is that the diversity of settings some of them pretty... Mario Kart 64 05-17-14 12:14 AM

awesome kart racer!!!
In anticipation of what is reported to be an amazing sequel, Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U, I am in the mood to write a review of Mario Kart 64 , an amazing game made by the people who probably have made the most amazing games of all time, and by that I mean the spookily brilliant minds at Nintendo .
Correct me if I'm wrong, but Mario Kart 64 is by far the best kart racer playable on vizzed, which makes it a leading contender for one of the best racing games overall on here. I know that the PlayStation has some kart racers, but chances are they are pale imitations. PlayStation games often have digital directional control which would make a racing game less precise , and even if a play station racer had precise controls the nintendo 64 is by far the more powerful system, so it's a safe bet that this is the best 1, with the possible exception of diddy kong racing. But I will discuss the relative merits of Diddy Kong later in the review, for now I want to get to an introduction section where I describe for the neophytes what the heck Mario Kart 64 is, and then I will share my wise opinions about the merits of Mario Kart broken into categories the way they love it done in vizzed. You're welcome for organizing my review in such a wonderful way for you, if you wanna know just how good the sound and music are you can totally skip down to that section of the review and skip everything else couldn't you?
Back in the Super Nintendo days, Nintendo wanted to take advantage of mode 7 graphics which is a pretty spiffy technical accomplishment on the 16 bit platform. Basically in mode 7 traffic games the playfield looks kinda like a pixelated floor that is all flat. By having this floor zoom at the camera and rotate at high speeds they were able to make a pretty good racing game, and choosing to make it a cart racer in which Mario and the gang can throw shells at each other and engage in other antics they basically invented the cart racer genre and made one of t... Legend of Zelda, The 01-04-14 01:03 AM

pointy ears, form-fitting to Nick, Green of course.
back in the day, the most brilliant video game creator who ever lived wanted to make two titles. Because he wasn't too creative both of these tiles involve rescuing a damsel in distress, hey lovely lady who needs our help. Mario would be a linear title, but though that would be one inspired by the days of his youth when he wandered into the forest and found halls cave to crawl into places that inspired fear but also that brought out the bravery that was within him waiting to be found. I love The Legend of Zelda series and if you notice that this reviews of exceptionally high quality not counting the grammar, it is because this review is like an ode to the Legend of Zelda series. I am watching my beautiful beautiful um person here name this is getting a little too personal but anyways I'm playing with Waker HD that would be a little too personal cell I want to keep this um without further ado...
Graphics 7. I have mixed feelings about the graphics of this legendary tight hole pardon the pun.the pine was it the title was Legend of Zelda, and that means that it's a legendary title. Anyways, in terms of graphical presentation it's on par with Super Mario Brothers, which for the time was quite good. But we know that as the nasty evolved and its software involved, oops I typed nasty but I meant Nintendo Entertainment System, we know that the graphics of the Nintendo system we're all timidly capable of much more than this title offered. Just compare the graphics of Super Mario 3 to the graphics of this title and you will see that this Styles graphics are primitive by comparison. That having been said, this title shines in terms of the functionality of its graphics and also the imaginative and staggering depths of the graphics. These graphics includes stone archways in Gothic shapes that invite you into dungeons of torture and Tara and monsters and boss characters in the shape of giant spiders. The fact that there are so many iconic enemies in this game and easy of... Read the rest of this Review
