Godzilla - Kaijuu Daikessen

Gojira: Kaiju Daikessen
Being a big Godzilla fan, I would review this game. Let's get started.
Godzilla Kaiju Daikessen is a fighting game. It was released in 1994 to coincide with the latest Godzilla film. It is similar to Street Fighter but it's abit slower.
Graphics: 7/10
All 11 Monsters look just like their movie counterparts and move like them. The backgrounds lack a bit but the buildings can be broken. There are arenas for each monster. The animation is somewhat lacking. There are some hidden things in some arenas too.
Sound: 9/10
All of the monster roars are here in perfect form. The soundtrack is faithful and the originals are great. However, compared to the previous game's track, Godzilla Battle Legends, it lacks. Compare Megalon's theme, Endless Wilderness, to the previous version in Battle Legends. One thing to note is that some of the monster roars are incomplete.
Addictiveness: 8/10
The game is very addictive as there are many combos for each characters. Even though there is no save battery for the score, arcade mode is replayable.
Depth: 4/10
There isn't much other than some secrets and some hidden attributes to the beam attacks.
Difficulty: 10/10
This game is relentless to beginners. The computer will execute many combos on you and if you don't crouch-guard, the computer will take advantage.

All in all, despite having some problems, it's a good fun game for both fighting game fans, or Godzilla fans.
