Shaman King - Legacy of the Spirits - Soaring Hawk
12-08-13 04:16 PM
not the best
Ok first impression it feels a little bit like Pokémon with turn based battling except without free roaming you play as a shaman who can hold 6 spirits your objective is to train and battle your spirits so they can learn new moves and help you become the next shaman king sound familiar yeah you got it its Pokémon with ghosts , the game is way easier if you just power train the main spirit there is type advantages but even if your week against fire you can still beat it with little challenge

graphics; nothing really sticks out pretty standard layout one thing nice is that the spirits look hand drawn to bad there is a lack of imagination with character design. There are characters with names like cat, lord, and Japanese clothes lady ... yeah it does not get much better after that

sound; there is not much going for the sound ether pretty slow with slight ups in tempo it could be better but for this type of game it does not affect it enough to not want to play it

addictiveness; for me I love rpg's but the lack of in game interaction made me board really fast I think this would have more replay value if I was a fan of the anime

story; this game has a really strong and detailed story off the first season of the anime, your a easy going nice shaman who would prefer to be friends with the spirits and help them in any way he can but when times get rough he stays calm and does what needs to be done, all main characters in this game have really deep back story's including the bad guys

depth; if you like games that focus more on the story then game play this is the game for you but other then that there is vary little content to keep you in this game it can be beaten in about 1 hour and once you beat it there is nothing left to do

difficulty;  this game is vary easy witch is a good thing in this games case, you don't want a story based game to be to hard just so you can stay on trac... Read the rest of this Review
Protoman 21XX (Alpha 1.0)

mega hack
This is a really good graphic  hack of megaman X were you can play as protoman who apparently is way stronger then X but anyways the game play is the same as megaman x except you fire charged buster shots rapidly and when you charge it up you get a force field from armored armadillo. In all other aspects this game is the same as megaman X but I'm sure it was not easy to make protoman  the main sprite so props, and good job for alpha design cant wait to see a update with new enemy sprites and level design

graphics; the original game had some of the best and my favorite for the snes so the same applies to this game, and the protoman sprite is extremely well done and all animations all well done and without glitches

sound; this hack uses the same songs and sounds as the original and in my opinion has the best song list on the entire snes I could listen to all of the tracks on my mp3 player any time

addictiveness; this game is the most addictive out of the whole X series being so well put together and challenging you want to stop at nothing to defeat sigma and finding all the power ups, and learning what powers work on what boss this hack brings back all of that with faster game play

story; the story is short but sweet you trying to put a stop to the evil mavericks and there leader sigma and bring peace to the once magnificent and futuristic city with your fellow hunter zero, this hack only has slight text changes from the original witch don't effect the story

depth; this game like the original has a lot to offer with finding health upgrades, sub tanks, armor, and finding out what every enemy's weakness is there is also a easter egg  that gives you a strong power and a funny reference from street fighter

difficulty; this game can get hard but once you figure out what powers to use you can become a master at this game as for the hack its a little easier getting though the levels but th... Read the rest of this Review
Naruto - Ninja Council

good game
When I started off the game reminded me of mega man with a beat em up feel and I like it, I love the boss fights at the end of every level, at first I did not like the timer but its fitting trying to rush and collect all the leaf symbols except when I accidentally get to the boss fight -_-, and having two characters is awesome, Sasuke is my favorite to play as his fire style if done right destroys bosses, and the score factor is great makes it feel like a old school nes game cant wait to try and submit one to vizzed, I do wish there was more unlock able move the scrolls are nice but its not enough, the enemy's have a nice variety and don't get old those dang snakes get me every time slithery little demons do more damage to me then the ninjas haha and crows don't even get me started on the crows if you don't have the right projectile its a pain, and I love how fast you can move just ninja around like a ... ninja haha.

graphics; they are grate the sprites are wonderful, the backgrounds are full of life, the animations are spot on, and its all full of 16-bit greatness ^_^.

sound; the songs are really good they have a nice traditional Japanese tone in 16-bit form of course, and the verity is good its always changing, the voice dialog is good but gets old really quick  "fear the wrath of uchiha" as Sasuke likes to say all the time -_-.

addictiveness; when you go ninja you don't  go back, its a lot of fun going in to free play trying to collect all the symbols, trying to beat the game with both Naruto and Sasuke, and trying to up your score, I will definitely be playing the game more one of the gba's better plat formers.

story; well there's not much to it, its a super abridged version of Naruto's first season, but considering the type of game is there is not     much you can do about it

depth; there's a good amount of levels and collectibles, you can probable sit down and beat in 30 minutes and 100 percent i... Read the rest of this Review
Paperboy (rev 3)

Paperboy
PAPERBOY! Way better then waking up at 6am to do it in real life, this game is awesome! It has really funny sound effects, listen to paperboy's greatest lines like RIGHT IN THE MAIL BOX! And THAT WASN'T MY FAULT! And don't forget I NEED GLASSES! He likes to scream at the top of his lungs because being a paperboy is not that great of a job, and this game has great graphics for the time it was published, pretty freaking
difficult if you ask me, lots of items to interact with, lots of funny
moments like throwing the mail at a robber, yup, you heard me, your not
just an everyday paperboy, you are SUPER PAPER MAN! Saving the day one
paper at a time, sometimes you run over dogs but everybody makes mistakes, if somebody doesn't want your papers, just break their
windows everyday, they will take your papers one way or another, watch
out for that kid with his remote control car! Your bike just isn't strong enough to break this little brat's plastic toy, when you see that kid with the remote make sure to throw a paper at him for me, he could use more reading in his life anyway, all he does is play with that plastic car all day every day, oh yeah all the drivers
are blind, good luck riding by them, because they wouldn't stop if they saw their child on the road, don't lose all your customers or
you will get fired and you will be on the news and you will be THE WORST
PAPERBOY EVER! If you die your THE WORST PAPERBOY EVER! Too, and everybody will hate you,  one
of the best games that Atari has ever published in 1984 there is no other game like it that I know of,to master this game would take a lot of endurance,       okay game stats time,

game-play, really fun! A great arcade classic, just aim for the mailbox, I cant believe it came out in 1984.

story, Well, your a paperboy... And you deliver papers... to people... not much of a story there. Well you can save ms Smiths... Read the rest of this Review
Penguin Adventure (bootleg of MSX version)
12-01-13 12:22 AM
hard not that bad
I'm sure it was a good game for its time and probably the best penguin game on vizzed  if you have time to get use to it its pretty fun if you can beat the 1st boss props to you.

game-play; is unique and challenging, run, catch the fish, get the heart, beat the boss and the boss will give your penguin a good scare.

graphics; are impressive I like the foreword moving feeling.

sound; is a catchy 8bit tune makes you feel like a 8bit penguin.

addictiveness; not so much gets old and frustrating.

story; as far as I can tell you are trying to save your penguin girlfriend.

depth; has a good amount of levels I did not play them all sorry could not get through it.

difficulty; pretty dang hard if you want to go fast good luck you should just take your time a eat up the fish
