Game Guides: Pokemon Fire Red
Hi Again! So this will be the next part of my "Gym Guide" on Pokemon Fire Red. I guess I did a fine job on making the first part of this guide, so please try reading it [See The Link Below]. On the first review, I wrote almost everything that I know from Gym 1 to Gym 4. So now, this guide will only contain things about 5th Gym to the last gym of this region. I guess we should start now. And what better city to start off with than Fuchsia City..

Gym #5 Fuchsia City Gym

Fuchsia City's gym is focused on training and using Poison Type Pokemons. This gym is ruled be the one and only gym leader, Koga. Getting to Koga is some how difficult to other gamers, because Koga installed invisible walls so that the player wont be able to face Koga that easily. But because I am making a Game Guide, I will be showing you the exposed invisible walls so you wont have a hard time reaching Koga. Here is the Picture:

Your probably ready to fight Koga, the Poison-Type Specialist by now. So here is his party.

Koffing Lv. 37
Muk Lv. 39
Koffing Lv. 37
Weezing Lv. 43

This is a pretty strong line up for me. Especially because of Koffing's ability to use Explosion. Anyway, you could use ground type pokemons like the one I told you to catch in my first guide. Try using your past diglet in battling this Koga guy. Also, you could try using a psychic type pokemon like kadabra or something. Anyways, after you beat him.. He would be giving you the Soul Badge that will proves you can be one of the best pokemon traiers, also increases your pokemon's defense I guess. Lets now move to Saffron City for the next gym.

Gym #6 Saffron City Gym

Oh. Saffron City, the biggest city of kanto, where the legendary Sabrina "The Psychic Type Specialist" owns her own gym. I think beating this lady is somehow difficult to new players because of Sabrina's fairly strong pokemons. Anyway, like koga's gym with invisible walls.. This gym also has ... Game Guides: Pokemon Fire Red
Hello Random Reader! You must be here for the Guide right? Okay, this time I will be helping you in battling Gym Members and Leaders, I will also give you the ways to get to the Gym Leaders. For those who really don't know whats a Gym and a Gym Leader is, I'll explain it to you. Gym is a building or facility where Pokemon trainers go to try and obtain a specific badge, all Gym needs a Gym Leader. And a Gym Leaders are trainers who hold their own badges and are the one who gives you badge if you beat them in a battle, they are also often the one who takes care of their Gyms. What are badges you say? Badges are like tickets that is needed to be able to qualify for the pokemon league and battle the Elite Four. And that would it I guess.. Lets start the Guide already.

Gym #1 Pewter Gym

The first gym! This is where you will test your pokemon(s) if you are really worthy in having a pokemon journey and being the best pokemon trainer. This Gym would be very easy if you chose Squirtle or Bulbasaur as your starter because of the elemental advantage. Just keep attacking Brock's Pokemons with either Vine Whip or Bubble. But if you chose Charmander, you will have a hard time in winning his badge. You should first train him to learn Metal Claw which is good against rock pokemon.

Members:
Camper
Geodude Lv10
Sandshrew Lv11

Beating this guy wouldn't be that hard, just use attacks that has an advantage to ground and/or rock pokemons like water or grass. Using an electric pokemon would be really dumb.

Leader:
Brock
Geodude Lv12
Onix Lv14

Brock's geodude isn't really strong, take it down with 2-4 attacks by using either grass or water moves. Onix, this is Brock's best pokemon. But this would be a trouble if you have Squirtle or Bulbasaur. You could also use Mankey's fighting attacks to beat this guy. Mankey is located at route 22, near the entrance to the Victory Road.

Gym #2 Cerulean Gym

Game Guides: Pokemon Fire Red
Hi everyone! I will be telling you all the locations of all the Hidden Machines that can be found on Pokemon Fire Red. Hidden Machines (HM) are special moves which are necessary to finish the storyline of a pokemon game, which can also be used inside or outside of battle. I will be helping you in finding each and everyone of them, and I will give some opinions of my own in each HM.

Cut- This is the 1st HM that you need to get in order to battle the 3rd Gym Leader, namely Lt. Surge. This is also needed in cutting specific trees and small grasses to avoid in engaging a battle with wild pokemons. You can find this in S.S. Anne. After you battle your rival, go upstairs and talk to the Captain. After that, he will give you your first HM.

Flash- This is really important, you will be needing this to light up the Rock Tunnel for easy travel. You can also use this in battle, this attack lowers the opponent's accuracy. You can get this by going through the Diglet's Cave from Vermillion City and exiting near Pewter City, walk straight down until you reach Route 2. And from there, you will meet one of the Professor's Aids and he will give you Flash after you gain your 10th pokemon.

Fly- You can use this for easy travel. You will be in a far place in a few seconds just by using this move, so this is really helpful outside of battle. And, this is also a good move that could be used in battle to deal damage. Go to Caledon City and continue going left, in where the Snorlax was sleeping before is a small tree, use cut in it and continue walking left, go right through that building and still keep on going left till you see a small house, enter that house and there you will see a girl, go talk to her and she will give you HM Fly.

Surf- For traveling across the vast seas. This is another important HM which you will be needing often. This could help you travel through water big or small, and this is also a good attack inside battle. You can get this b... Read the rest of this Guide
