Super Mario World

Still manages to rise above the newer Mario Games.
Super Mario World is the perfect example of a classic game. Just because it is classic, though, doesn't mean that it is only enjoyable for its nostalgic factor. Instead, it brings its own balance of fun and enjoyment, with various levels with various challenges. The use of Yoshi is also fun while I find that the ability to move him from level to level with you is relieving. He doesn't just vanish after the level is over, which makes sense.

The controls are pretty good. The jump mechanics are easy to control and Mario moves fluidly with your commands. While the game is still challenging at times, the controls are well equip to face the challenges. It also makes it fun for all ages. You don't have to be a Master at Mario games to pick up the controller and get engrossed.

I have had more fun with this game than I have with most of the new Super Mario Bros games and I know I will be back to play more again and again.?
Simpsons, The - Bart\'s Nightmare

Run, Bart, run!
I would've loved to have had a better idea of what I was doing. I'm not really sure why, but the levels seemed to go on forever. I looked on the Internet guides and found that something was clearly wrong. I also couldn't jump for whatever reason even though I know I was supposed to. However, I will review it on what it was, and it shouldn't be too hard to do so.

Without the jump, it was nearly impossible to dodge the enemies who came upon me like the plague. There was little explanation on what I was to do and with all of these enemies I lost patience rather quickly. The spitting attack, I think it was an attack, was absolutely worthless against the enemies. The only thing that seemed to destroy the enemies was when I jumped on certain enemies while wearing the church clothes. Again, not really explained.

The main problem is, solely, the repeating game play. I couldn't stay interested for long and was soon looking forward to the dreaded Game over', in this case it wasn't so dreaded. Which didn't take a long time because from what I've seen, you can only get one life. Either way, looked promising, but not my cup of tea.
Sonic 3 & Amy Rose

An excellent addition to Sonic 3!
I was surprised how playing as Amy seemed to fit so well. The controls are quite good and easy to pick up. The game is, otherwise, very close to the original Sonic 3, but the new character addition seems to add new features as well. Such as Amy's hammer, which is an interesting addition, and a surprisingly useful attack. At first I had a little trouble adjusting to it, but once I did it was quite fun! The animation on Amy is done seamlessly; she looks like she belonged in the game from the very beginning.

I will definitely be playing this game again in the future!
