Super Mario World - Nightmare Edition 07-27-13 01:37 PM |
Hello. I'm going to make this as brief as possible as this is in my opinion the worst Mar Hello. I'm going to make this as brief as possible as this is in my opinion the worst Mario hack ever. Overall: 3 I rated the overall of this game a 3 because; -There were no new sprites that I could see. -There was no new sound -The Map was exactly the same as far as I could see -no new text I only had to play the first level to see how bad this game is. I could rant and rave forever about it, but I'll just continue. Graphics & Sound : 8 No new sprites, no new sound, but I couldn't see it in my heart to rip on SMW's sprites and sound. I've just always liked the SMW sprites and sound. But I would've liked to see something new. Addictiveness: 1 A 1 for addictiveness? What?! Allow me to explain myself. The first (and only) level I played was just a big flat plane with enemies that only require one jump to defeat. Then you reach a chasm. But it's a Mario game, so you can just jump across, right? Nope! The chasm was two blocks too wide for Mario to jump across. There's where I stopped playing. Story: No story as far as I could see. Depth: 1 You literally can't get past the first level, not because the game is hard, but because you aren't supposed to get past the first level. Difficulty: 1 The only playable level was surprisingly easy for a game called "Super Mario Nightmare Edition". I suppose that the hack maker decided that since the level was so easy he/she would just make it impossible. |
Pokemon Ultra Violet 07-26-13 11:51 AM |
Pokemon Ultra Violet Review Overall: 9.9 Overall, the Pokémon Ultra Violet Hack is a lot like Pokémon Fire Red. The only difference is that all Pokémon are obtainable in the game, and you can catch your first Pokémon. Graphics: 9 The graphics are similar to Pokémon fire red and other GBA games so I rated this a 9. I would've liked to see some new graphics but I'm happy with how it is. Sound: 10 This is just my personal opinion but I LOVE the old beeping music and sound. Although not much was changed in sound, I'm glad as I don't like the newer sound effects. Addictiveness: 9 With all Pokémon being catch able, the addictiveness scales as you just want to catch 'em all. Story: 5 Again, the story is almost EXACTLY the same as fire red, so I rated 5 as the story wasn't original. Depth: 9 Depth. I rated this one 9 because now you can actually take time and catch all the Pokémon! That alone adds a lot of depth to this. There are some new areas to explore, but not too many, but still, this adds more to the game's environment. Difficulty: 7 The Difficulty on this one was what you expect out of a Pokémon game. Almost everything is determined by luck, enemies make stupid mistakes, and you get stronger way faster then the opponents do. |
