ALL. HAIL. THE. REDEEMER.
All. Hail. The. Redeemer. This Pokémon game was one that I've always loved, in fact at one point I owned three of this game and had no idea how. I found myself playing this game for hours and hours on end after I first bought it and didn't see myself stopping anytime soon. While this game wasn't much of a challenge for me, I still found it extremely addictive. Those Summer days of breaks between business I found myself playing this game and every time I played it was like the first. What this game lacks in difficulty, it more than makes up for with the extra features. Random scattered battle tents taking the place of the contest halls, I admit, did have me skeptical at first, especially since I'm really a contest person. But after I realized the contests were put into one place in Lilycove, it did slightly ruin the authenticity of travelling Pokémon Contest competitions, but it also provided convenience since you didn't need to fly from town to town just to enter another rank(Or worse if you didn't have fly yet, having to walk from town to town just to participate in other ranks).
The Battle Tents were an interesting edition. I loved how each one had a different condition to it and I especially enjoyed the one in Verdenturf town (If I'm not mistaken) where it was mainly up to your Pokémon to choose which move to use. It made you realize friendship level and training really does mean something more than a level up or evolution requirement.
Graphics I have to say were an amazing improvement. I love the graphics on buildings and in towns, or in case anyone had noticed, in games like Fire Red, Leaf Green, Blue, Yellow, Etc. The details in the faces of opposing trainers left alot to be desired. The adorable little dance a Pokémon does when being released into battle is actually a feature I like looking for in Pokémon games ever since the release of Emerald. The water graphics are also commendable, I love how the water along sho... Read the rest of this Review

Reeling In.
I must say I have just begun playing this game and I'm already reeled in. To me, Pokémon Emerald was like the redeemer of Pokémon games. Pokémon Emerald was that game for me that made me think twice about thinking "No Game will Ever be nearly as good as the original" (Meaning Pokémon Blue, Red, Etc.) It has such an extensive storyline from the traditional beating of the Gym Leaders to the newly introduced Pokémon Contests and even the Battle Frontier, so for me, If you hack Emerald to create a game it must be done right. I believe. This was done right. This is a shockingly amazing game. Pokémon Rebirth seemed very much the same to me until I noticed the change in Starter Pokémon which I believe puts an interesting twist on bringing the Kant o, Johto, and Hoenn Regions together.
I've always wanted a game like this in which Pokémon from all Regions merge together into one Region for all to catch. It makes this game addictive because I really do want to catch them all and after catching them all I want to focus on really making them battle ready which includes exploring the vast collection of Learn able Moves, abilities, and Natures. Trust me I've always wanted all of the starters and now I think I can make a pretty awesome team. So many Pokémon and not a dull moment.
Sound, Graphics, it's all commendable and it's evident you worked diligently on this game. From Hacks I've seen, there are usually strange sound effects or lag in the game, sometimes even very poor graphics. But this game, I am happy to say, is absolutely flawless without a single glitch to be found so far. So I thank you for this upload. Charlock (My Charmander), Sparky (My Pikachu) And Magnolia (My Chikorita) Thank you. : )
