Tecmo Super Bowl
OVERALL: This is my first ever review, so bear with me. I decided to make it easy for myself, as Tecmo Super Bowl is not just my favorite game for the NES...but my favorite game EVER! That's right...my favorite game of all-time is a game for the NES. It is the greatest game ever created! I know that we're already halfway through the year 2013 and the game is 22 years old, but that doesn't matter. No game out there has eclipsed the greatness of this game, whether its the Madden franchise, the NFL2K games, or any game whatsoever. This game is just way too original, way too good, and most importantly way too fun. You can't expect any game to be absolutely perfect, so I gave it a 9.9. Its one of the most simple sport games to play, but you can't expect a game made in the early 90s to have similar controls to the games made today.
GRAPHICS: Lets face it...this game was made in the early 90s. So the first thing you'll actually notice about the game is the graphics. Of course they're not going to blow you away, but they won't make you run and hide under a table, or something. I guess what I'm trying to say is the graphics weren't all that great, but they weren't bad either. In which part, I'll give the graphics a healthy 7. Every time you go to a different menu, the color doesn't really change that much. It makes it pretty bland and boring but once you start a game, its all good. Each team's logo looks almost exactly like the actual team logo, nicely detailed and everything. The team's jerseys each have two colors to them, which would be the actual team's colors...duh. There is nothing that jumps out at you about that, but its not like you'll be able to tell the players apart from each other. After a good play is made, whether its a touchdown, a field goal, a sack, or a safety, a little cut scene will play and you'll feel good about yourself. During the halftime scene, you'll get a picture of what the stadium looks like (which looks the same ev... Read the rest of this Review

Hudson Hawk
INTRODUCTION Ah yes, Hudson Hawk. Your character, Eddie Hawk, is one of the best cat burglars on the planet. However, a fiendish couple has ordered him to steal two of Leonardo da Vinci's most prized works. One is located in Rutherford's, which is a heavily guarded auction house, and the other rests in a vault that's inside the Vatican! This evil couple is trying to rebuild da Vinci's Alchemy Project that involves a machine that creates gold. Its good for them of course, but it makes for a disaster for the rest of the world's economy. They need Hawk's help to do so, and they intend to kill his best friend if Hawk does not comply. We need you to help the Hawk save his friend, and maybe steal one of the key components of the machine to save the world from financial trouble.
I have to be honest with you here...the very first time that I played this game, I played it for all of 3 minutes before I gave up on it and played something else on the NES. It will probably take rookies who have never played this game before some time to get used to the controls, as they seem a little off. The running and jumping just doesn't seem all that smooth as most other NES games do. I recommend you practice playing on the first part of the first level on the rooftop. Try to get used to the "off" controls I mentioned earlier, and hopefully you'll see what I'm talking about. You don't have to go through the entire level to practice though. Just practice running around and jumping on the tables with the umbrellas on them. After you feel like you're ready, restart the game so you have a fresh slate to start with.
There are a total of 3 levels in this game. Before you begin each one, you are given a brief description of what item you have to get and where it is. Hawk also has 2 weapons you can use to help him out...his fists and these balls you can throw at your enemies (called softballs in this guide). To throw the softballs you simply press the B button, but to throw pu... Read the rest of this Guide

Castlevania II: Simon's Quest
INTRODUCTIONBefore I begin my walkthrough, I always like to give a little description of the game first. If you are playing this game for the very first time, I'll give you a little insight on what to expect from it, as it will hopefully make you more comfortable while playing. Castlevania II: Simon's Quest is a really fun game to play, of course. Your character's name is Simon Belmont, and he's trying to destroy Dracula and remove a curse that he has placed upon him. The only way to properly destroy Dracula in this game is to gather all of his body parts, go to his castle in Castlevania, resurrect him, and then kill him again (interestingly enough). Also, there will be 3 different endings to this game: one good ending, one normal ending, and one bad ending - all of which depending on how long it takes you and how many continues you need to do to complete the game in its entirety. Don't worry though because I won't tell you what the endings are...yet. And don't worry if it takes you a while to get use to this game. If you get through everything, the bottom line is its an accomplishment in itself and you should be proud regardless. With all that said, lets move onward with this quintessential game.WALKTHROUGH
So you start your quest in the town of Jova. Before you do ANYTHING, I should tell you that while you're playing this game, day will eventually turn to night and then back to day again. At night, all of the people will turn to zombies that you can get Hearts from. Hearts will be used as your currency in this game. Another thing is you won't be able to go into and shops or churches at night. Now that I've told you all that, let me tell you about the pause menu (in this guide, I will call this a status screen). Simply press the Start button to bring it up. The "T" at the top is your Game Time, in which pausing the game will also stop the game time. Below that is an "E" which is your Experience. Next to that is a "L" and its your experience Level. Beneath ... Read the rest of this Guide

Clash at Demonhead Walkthrough
INTRODUCTION Before I get started with the walkthrough for this hidden gem, I feel I need to mention that this is my first ever walkthrough that I have ever done. So if you catch a couple mistakes I make, feel free to tell me as soon as possible because I want to make this clear and professional. If you're playing Clash at Demonhead for the first time, let me warn you that it may take you a while to get used to this game. In my opinion, it's one of the most challenging games for the NES. This game will require time, skill, and lots of patience for you to get through it entirely, especially for the many boss fights. I will try to get through this game in the quickest, easiest, and most efficient way that I know how. Let me go ahead and mention that you should try to kill every enemy you come across...unless of course you can't kill them. This way, you'll pick up the most money and force you'll need throughout the game. I also should mention that I recommend you go to Google and search "Clash at Demonhead map" and keep the map that shows you where all the routes are, whether you print it out or keep it open in a separate window. There are some points where we'll be teleporting from one side of the map to the other, so you'll be needing it. With all that said, lets get into this great game, and of course I hope you enjoy reading!
WALKTHROUGH So you start the game by pressing the Start button with the "Attack!" option selected, and you start on route 1. The levels in this game are called "routes" so you'll see that word a lot in this guide. Quickly shoot the 3 missiles coming at you. When you shoot them, hopefully you'll notice that it takes them about a full second to completely explode. Don't run into that explosion or it will hurt you! The next set of enemies will likely drop a dollar sign ($). This is your money, so pick it up before it disappears. Keep going to the right and you'll run into a big skeleton guy. This is Tom Guycot, and he's the big b... Read the rest of this Guide
