one of he best platformers ever. the overall is good, though the graphics somewhat lack compared to some of the more advanced SNES games, it far surpasses most of its time. The sound i am unsure uf, as i play muted, but from what i remember as a child it was good, the sound changing for the switch activation was spot-on. Its addictivity was incredible, i remember one time skipping all my meals for a day so i could play more. The story is a cliche', but given its popularity with its specific storyline, i think its good, seeing that any other sort of thing would be far to different from the mario we know and love. Its difficulty is impressive, one of the most difficult platforming games ever if you ask me. overall i give it a 9.9, short only due to its cliche' story.
