Super Puyo Puyo Review
This is a review for Super Puyo Puyo for the SNES (Super Nintendo Entertainment System). This is my personal opinion from my experience with the game, so I ask that you respect it. If you have a differing opinion on some things I think about this game that is completely fine. Depth: The game play is quite simple and easy enough to learn and progress in. However, the game does not stay "easy" for long (which is a good thing). As you progress in the game and as time passes by, the speed at which the puyo fall increases. This adds fun and could become quite hectic. For this, I give it an 8/10 for depth. Difficulty: The game is not impossible, but it proves to be a challenge as the speed increases and your rivals become more cunning with how they use certain techniques. I implore you to not give up easily! Thus, this will receive a 7/10 for difficulty. Story: I can't really say much about the story without spoiling it, but this particular game is in Japanese. I don't know any one who understands Japanese and I am teaching myself at a rather slow pace. Well, what does that have to do with the game and story? I'll tell you. The game is playable and enjoyable even without understanding the dialogue of the characters. However, if you really want to get to know the characters or you like to know what the characters are saying, this is not the best candidate for you. So I give this part a 5/10. Addictiveness: I'm not sure what I can say about this. I find this game very addicting in many ways. My first reason is that the game play is fun and it pulls you in if you're into puzzles. My second reason is that I try to beat my score and 5 minutes of trying could turn into 5 hours. I count those things as "addictive." Sound: The sound effects are not exactly memorable, but the music is catchy enough to overlook that and keep you occupied.... Read the rest of this Review
