Sonic CD The hidden message sure is creepy. Did you know that it used to be an anti-piracy screen that would show if you bootlegged the game? SEGA apologized when people were complaining about their kids finding the screen.

Sonic Classic Heroes

Sonic Classic Heroes: Why Not?
Let me emphasize this: I HATE SONIC HEROES. INTO THE GROUND.

But, I discovered this hack on the site and just sat there for a second, thinking of the horrible memories I had with the real Sonic Heroes. Then I spent some of my Viz and gave it a try.

I was amazed. Heck, you can play as Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles all at the same time! You can press A to switch characters like you do in Sonic Heroes. And here's the fun part, your teammates follow behind you and don't lose your rings! They can even help out by beating a boss with you or conquering a tough level. This makes the game so much easier.

The characters all have their Sonic and Knuckles abilities. Tails's flight, Knuckles's glide, and Sonic's air spin! The shields from Sonic and Knuckles are also present in the game.

The single player campaign allows you to play Sonic 1 and Sonic 2 all as one story! When you beat Sonic 1, the team turns around in shock as they watch the death egg float by, then they run to Emerald Hil Zone, starting the Sonic 2 portion of the story.

There is also the abiliity to customize your game options, and save your game for later. You can play a few acts and come back again, and there's your save file! Also included is a Sonic Heroes-esque level select if you just want to try out a certain zone, or skip directly to Sonic 2.

Overall, this hack is amazing and worth the Viz. Play it right now! NOW!

(Here's a secret, in Marble Zone ACT 1, switch to Knuckles. Don't go underground! Start climbing the seemingly impassable wall. There is a secret hole in the wall that gives you a 1-up and leads you to the end of the act. Talk about a shortcut! This secret is also in Act 2 and Act 3. Whenever you come across a gargantuan wall in Marble Zone, climb it and you'll go to the end!)

Namco Classic Collection Vol. 2 Review

Sonicfan? Why are you reviewing a forgotten mame arcade game that barely anyone has played? BECAUSE IT'S AWESOME, THAT'S WHY! >=(

Namco Classic Collection Volume 1 and 2 were arcade machines floating around in various arcade machines in America and Japan, and some were quietly removed while newer racing and shooter games took their place. Shame. And this amazing machine is so fun!

There are 3 classic games and 3 arrangements, allowing for 6 games! The arrangements are basically enhanced versions of the classic games with multiplayer, better graphics, bosses, and moar!

This is some pretty good fun, so grab a friend, hook up some controllers, and play some classic arcade games! What more can I say?

Uhh...What is this?
What the heck is this?

Oh boy, my first bad review! :D

I know this is a hack...but it could have been made better. It looks like a terrible spritehack made in twenty minutes. No effort whatsoever!

It plays just like the first Mario, but with a poor Sonic sprite. I feel so sorry for him. ):

The game is just terrible, that's all I have to say.

Mario Paint

Mario Paint? Gimme!
This is my second review! Cheers! :3

Anyway, Mario Paint. Most people I talk to don't know this game. I just go all like, "Hey, have you played Mario Paint?" and they look at me like I'm a chicken with purple feathers. So sad.

Mario Paint originally came packaged with the SNES Mouse, which people thought was a failure. NOPE! Mario Paint is still addictive, even today! And it is much better than most modern drawing tools. I first came across this gem as a ROM. (Shame on me) and I opened it in ZSNES, turned on a Hi-Definition filter and started playing. (Note that ZSNES lets you use your everyday computer mouse as an emulated SNES mouse.)

I was greeted with the familiar screen I had seen in videos! It was awesome! I messed around with the different tools, made a horrible animation which consisted of Mario's head getting blown off, and created a symphony! (Which sounded like a bunch of dying ducks.)

After messing around, I was kind of bored with it. Then I discovered the Fly Swat minigame! Oh, how that was fun. I happily swatted flies as the silly music blared through my speakers. This was, perhaps, one of my best gaming experiences.

This game is very fun. I don't know why people hate this game. Perhaps they would rather go play NSMBWii, well, they can go ahead, but they'll never experience this masterpiece of a game!

Now that I'm done with the descriptive mushy stuff, I need to focus in more on one thing:

The Music Composer.

The main feature that sticks out in the game is this composer here. Even if you have no experience in music-making whatsoever, you could still make a pretty spunky song. But look what people have made with this composer! Just search up 'Mario Paint Composer' on Youtube and hundreds of fan-made music videos come up! (Mario Paint Composer is a program for Windows, but it has the same sounds and features as the one on the SNES.)

I guess this review has gone on long enou... Read the rest of this Review
Sonic CD

Sonic CD? OH YEAH!
Sonic CD...OH YEAH! That's the awesome game from the Sega CD! This game was amazing to me. I grew up in the era of gamecubes and gameboys, so I missed out on my chance to get this game. For a few years, I longed to play this game.

Suddenly, I was browsing on Vizzed, and I found the game. I nearly squealed with joy and began playing. I had seen videos of the game, but it was nothing like playing it!

The game is very fun. It contains elements from past Sonic games. It plays a bit different, however. Sonic can travel through time, which changes the difficulty of the level and allows him to destroy the robot generators, which earns you a good future. (An easier version of Act 3.)

Instead of Chaos Emeralds, you get Time Stones...uh...what? Don't worry! They work just like chaos emeralds, except you can't go all super dragonball.

The graphics are amazing, and were probably ahead of it's time. Sonic looks as blue as ever!

The sound is good. I like the addition of new sound effects, as well as the classic ones, too. However, I love the European/Japanese soundtrack the best. Sure, the USA edition has cool instruments and stuff, but it just doesn't fit. Now, I have no idea what the heck the USA composers were smoking when they made that horrifying boss theme.  O.o
The Japanese soundtrack stays true to the original games.

The story is simple. Eggman (or Robotnik, whatever.) gets really mad at Sonic after being defeated twice. He builds a faster, newer METAL SONIC! Dah dah dahhhhhh! and hooks Little Planet to a chain and attaches it to earth to keep it from disappearing again. Then, Sonic arrives with his friend Amy Rose. Metal Sonic captures Amy. Shock. And Sonic is off to save the day! A pretty creative story if you ask me.

Overall, this game is challenging, amazing, fun, and cool! Play it now! That's right, now!
