							Night Trap 08-13-14 11:31 AM |
Night Trap The reason we now have the ESRB A Review By Gamr1291 Night Trap for the Sega CD is the reason we have the ESRB now. Let me explain. Back during the early days of gaming games hardly have with a warning label or rating if at all. Night trap changed that. You play as a member of SCAT as you go and try to kill off 5 girls spending the night at the residence of Mr. And Mrs. Martin as they are away for the weekend. Now back to why Night trap gave use the ESRB rating we have today. After the release the government caught hold of the game and couldn't believe the nature of the game. They made the industry come up with the ESRB system based off the movie rating system that we have had for decades. Well, if you ask me the game plays out more like a snuff film or a low and I do mean low budget indie horror film. Now to get to the reasons why I rated the game like did. GRAPHICS:2 Lets get to the graphics first shall we? What Graphics? The game looks like a movie from the 1980's. Hard to make what anything is where anyone is at. You get what I think is a map to help you out, but that might as well be an after thought seeing as it helps you out just about as much as the dungeon maps for the first Legend of Zelda for the NES. Sound:2 The game has sound I guess. Let me put it this way, it is nothing but cheesy bad 80's synth pop music. Sung by not only the 5 girls but by some 80's pop rock band I've never heard of and with any luck I hope I never will.? Addictiveness:2 The game really is not all that addictive unless your the type of person that loves to go around mass killing 5 teenage girls. And to be honest that is all I am going to say on that topic. Next. Story:2? The story as I said before has you playing as a member of a team called SCAT (please save your poop jokes). As a member of the team you are given the task of saving every single member in the house ... Read the rest of this Review |
