Not the best, but it's still decent. Dragon Warrior. One of the classic RPG games which were pretty much Dragon Ball Z, but more of a fantasy than pure fighting. While this is just the first one of the nine, ( As of 8-12-15, and not including other games like Dragon Quest Monsters, or the Japanese-exclusive (for now) Dragon Quest 10.) I find this game to be not that good. It's kind of good, but not that good. And before you ask, yes, I DO know about the SNES and GBC remake, but hey, I'm review the NES one, just because there's no difference other than larger maps, better graphics, better soundtrack, etc. Graphics: The Graphics are pretty much like your average NES game. It seems to have the environment of Final Fantasy (removing the ocean, there's no flight or sailing in this game.) But the graphics of The Legend of Zelda. One thing I do like is your Character starts out without a Sword and Shield, and when you get one, your character sprite actually has the Sword and Shield...too bad if you get a different Sword/Shield they look no different. 7/10 Sound: The Soundtrack isn't really the best, but it's not annoying, bad, irritating, or any of the sort either. But it can get repetitive. There isn't that much soundtrack in the game. 6/10 Addictiveness: This game is actually a little bit addicting...for your first play through. BUT it's still kind of fun, despite what I said above, it's just not too good. Problems can include that in order to open locked doors, you have to go to the menu, and then open the door with the option. There aren't that many enemies (Most of them are 1 of 3 different enemies of the same type, just stronger or weaker.) You can get magic as you level up, but there isn't that much. Why...Just...Why... I don't get it...Why did they make this game? It's horrible. It's not worth $200. Now, yes, NES games back then cost about $50, and this is giving you 52 games for $200 (Roughly $4 each game) but it's not worth it. Here's why. Graphics: The Graphics are horrible. Sometimes there will be a whole lot of glitches, sometimes there will be graphics that look like puke, and sometimes...Well, let's just say you might go blind. 1/10 Sound: The Music and Sound effects are normally either neutral or annoying in my opinion. Some music is music I would be fine with but not exactly like. But some music can really kill my ears. I get a headache from listening to 1 thing of music for a whole minute. 2/10 Addictiveness: ...I think you can already tell from the other Ratings, but I'm saying this anyway, because I have to. The game is not addicting at all. Maybe, your first time playing, you'll think that only some of the games are bad, and some of them are so good it'll make up for it. I wish that'd be true. But it's not. All the games are bad. 1/10 Story: This would be rated 3/10, but there's 52 games, and only one has a story. So I made it 1/10. The story to the game "Cheetah Men" is that you play as the "Action Game Master" who got grabbed by the crotch (Yeah, I know.) into the game world, where he meets the Cheetah Men and they're helping him get back to the real world. I know most NES games have very simple stories, but they could've done better. This was made the same year the Super Nintendo came out. 1/10 Depth: ...I honestly can't think of a long way to say this part of the review, but here's the longest explanation I can say. 7th Saga Review 7th Saga. One of various obscure games on the SNES that aren't too common to other people, but are actually quite fun. Some people actually dislike it, due to the fact that it's very difficult. But it's still kind of fun in other ways, as I'm going to explain to you right now. Graphics: The Graphics are very good for an SNES game. It has (kind of) an almost 3D battle sequence which can show the sky, and your character(s). And everything looked great and colorful. 9/10 Sound: The soundtrack of the game is mostly great, from the world themes (there are many of them) to battle themes, and even in dungeons. 10/10 Addictiveness: This game can be very addicting sometimes. I'm surprised I had more fun than I probably should've while leveling up my character. 8/10 Story: After five years of training under King Lemele, you and six other apprentices are going to go on a quest to collect seven magical runes, which would give you enough power to rule the land. You choose which of the seven apprentices you will play as: Kamil: An average fighter, who knows some magic and has average overall stats. Olvan: A Dwarf who can wield very strong weapons. Very similar to Kamil, but not as much magic, and slightly more strength. Esuna: A Wizard who knows many magic spells, however lacks attack power very much. Lux: A Robot (Known as "Tetujin" in the game) whom is more of a fighter when it comes to battles, but knows a couple of good magic spells, and is more of a tank. (High HP/Defense) Wilme: An Alien who is a very, very strong fighter, who doesn't use weapons due to his massive attack power. Knows no useful magic. Valsu: A Priest who is very talented in the arts of healing, and can learn some powerful healing magic...however, almost no damaging magic.
