Pokemon MarioMon

mario I choose you!
It's both of my favorite things combined! Mario and pokemanz! lol. Let's get into this review.

now let's start with a simple thing called Graphics: 8. The game has good graphics for a Game boy advanced game. The Pokémon were replaced with Mario characters if you couldn't already tell.

Sound: 8. It's nostalgic to me since Fire red was my first Pokémon game ever and it is an amazing sound track.

Addictiveness: 9. It's the main reason why I come to vizboards anyway! That and the amazing free emulators of course, but this is the main reason.

Story: 9. Pokémon has a great story about you, 10 years old, going on an adventure (cuz wynaut?) this has pallet town replaced by Mario's pad which is one difference, but I love it.

Depth: 8. There's the classic "gotta catch 'em all" goal and it leaves you wanting more and even the pokedex entries have changed. Try to catch them all.

Difficulty: 7. I don't find it that hard, but in a way it is difficult as most Pokémon have changed their types, move sets, etc. And it makes it slightly difficult to get adjusted to what their types are.

Overall: 9. Not a perfect hack, but certainly not bad either. I highly recommend you try it if you want.

bye.
Pikachu Dig Dug

pikaaaaaaCHUUUUU!!!!!
This is a weird hack. I can't imagine how it started either. But it's pikachu in dig dug.

Graphics: 8. It's not much other than pikachu replacing dig-dug and the graphics on the nes aren't that great either for the most part.

Sound: 5. There's almost none other than when you walk around there's this DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUG DUGD UGD UGNUN UNUN stuff.

Addictiveness: 4. I don't find myself coming back to this and whatnot, but old school gamers or fans of Pokémon should try this if they want to of course.

Story: there is none.

Depth: 3. You just walk around and gruesomely pump up enemies until they blow up..... *shivers*

Difficulty: 6. It's a little difficult later on after a few levels and you have to stay alert.

This has been my review. I'm done.
Pokemon Moemon (Emerald)

It's pokemon... but with little girls!
*looks at screen shots* ...ok whoever made this likes little girls apparently. Ok so basically this is Pokémon moemon, which is little girls cosplaying. And I'll just give in little details about this below starting now.

Overall: 9.7. This is a minor mod that changes the Pokémon to resemble cute little children dressed as Pokémon aw. If you want to add a little adorableness to Pokémon emerald then here you go!

Graphics: 8. I wouldn't expect much from a Game boy advanced game, but the sprites for the Pokémon look cute so that's a plus I guess?

Sound: 9. I loved the Pokémon soundtrack and I just love it. Nothing about the music changed though.

Addictiveness: 6. I don't find myself coming back to play this often, but I appreciate the work put into this mod.

Story: 6. Yeah by this point we should already know the story behind Pokémon. 10 year old gets sent out by professor, gets pokemanz, beats gym leaders, stops bad guys, fights more Jim leaders, catches them all, fights elite four, profit. Yeah...

Depth: 8. There's plenty to do in Pokémon. We can catch as much as we want, train them, and find legendarys.

Difficulty: 6. This is not that hard if we know what to do although I find myself losing more than on a legit cartridge... I do not know why myself.

All in all we should try this together shall we?
Action 52

Lights! Camera! Action 52!

All I can say is... Nope.avi to this game... what? Not enough? Ok fine, let's dig deeper into this pile of what the typical person would call "garbage" mostly because it is. Enough stalling; let's get into the games.

The graphics are?not very impressive. More or less something you'd find out of an early NES or master system game. Characters are too small, random characters (because, heck, you play as a pair of fingers in one of the games for crying out loud!), and they recycle the same sprites in most games.

Game play? Oh that mix mashed controls where A and B are switched? Yeah, it is one of those games! Honestly what were they (and other game designers) thinking about switching what was implanted since childhood? Not to mention the games are too hard, too easy, can't win, can't lose, make no sense whatsoever and the worst part is most games don't want to work or start up, even on an emulator most of the time.

Story? What story? Well... to be fair cheetah men does have a story, but it doesn't make much sense and I never saw the ending... so screw that.

The sound on most games are very unappealing. The only ones I enjoy are the cheetah men theme and the cry baby song; just in my opinion.

Addictiveness... well unless you're crazy or something; this game won't appeal for long.

Depth. Well there's 52 games, yet they all suck, so don't bother.

Difficulty is out of control... well at least in cheetah men, Billy bob, boss, and haunted hills to name a few.

Now overall, this game just isn't worth it, but I'm not stopping you from playing it so... yeah.
Q-bert (US set 1)
06-29-13 02:54 PM
pretty nastolgic for some
This game has some pretty good game play but I will tell you one thing....I wasn't born when poor q*bert was so popular but I liked the game. q*bert starts off as pretty difficult because I kept dying and the controls take some getting used to. There is no story so I guess he is jumping on blocks to match the color or something. The sound? What sound you may ask well...other than jumping and death sound effects this game has no music as a game should have. As for the graphics its pretty okay but if you're the type of person who wants amazing graphics instead of game play I say two things. one: you should play sonic 06. Good graphics but bad game play. two: don't play this. Overall this game give nostalgic feelings towards older people and for me I think q*Bert here needs more attention... my first review out.
