Interesting Game
Overall, this game, like any others, has its ups and downs. Although mostly very good, there are a few things that are a tad annoying.

  Graphics
Nothing particularly exciting about the graphics. They do their job and don't particularly stand out to me as either good or bad.

 Sound
The sound is actually quite good on this game. It's quite clear and varied. I don't usually take notice of the sound in games, but in this one I did, and I kept the volume fairly loud instead of muting it like I do with most other games.

 Addictiveness
I don't know if I'm the best to comment on addictiveness (probably because I find most pokemon games very addicting), but I was very much addicted to this game. It made you want to keep venturing on, going through the story, and finding new and exciting pokemon to train. Which leads us to the...

Story
The concept behind this game is great, although it is not always executed in the best way. You may find yourself confused at times to who the new person battling you is and why they're involved in the story, and you may feel like you're just jumping through things. However, the storyline is a unique one and will keep you interested.

Depth
Caves, caverns, forests are all included in this game. Most is well executed, but I'm disappointed with the size of some of the "cities". Another thing that may not appeal to some is the sarcasm and refer... Read the rest of this Review

The best hack I've seen in awhile.
This game is the childhood show put together beautifully into a game. All the events are very accurate to the show and exact to the times they're supposed to happen. The story, as we all know, is a very good one, and it's refreshing to be able to have all three starter pokemon AND a pikachu. This is different from all other hacks I have ever seen in that it is so well-made and does not at all look like an illegitimate game. In fact, you could probably scrape this thing off the website and slap it into a gameboy game right now. As far as I can tell, there are no glitches that can stunt your progress in the game, which is always a plus for hacks, however, in my experience, this game does end up being a bit slow at times, even with the spacebar (ha ha, I think we all speed through because we can). The only things I dislike about the game are the fact that it can be slow (maybe just on my computer, I don't know), but also all the shop items are very expensive in proportion to the money you receive in battles. The price of a super potion nearly costs you an arm and a leg, and when revives are even available, eh, forget about it. You'll buy about two things and then be left with little to no money. Another issue with the game is that some battles are extremely hard, with pokemon levels higher than yours, even with the most training. The only storyline issue is figuring out where to go and where the dang HMs are hiding. Unless you remember all the shows exactly, you're going to have to have some help figuring out what to do at some parts. I spent some time on youtube walkthroughs before I was able to figure out how to get to some places or simply what to do next. The HMs are hidden with pokemon you obtain (check them to see if they're holding items!). However, there are several pros to this game that outweigh the cons. For one, the graphics are the best I've ever seen on a hack. Really, it was the first thing I noticed. Beautiful. Perfect. Wonderful. The sound is excellent... Read the rest of this Review
