Pocket sized fighters, big fun
Pocket fighters is a silly, one off title that features characters from Darkstalkers and The street fighter series in a simple to pick up, hard to master showdown. Pick your fighter and get your friends together for a fun filled throw down with silly, cartoony effects.
This game is a one off title that got no sequel, a cult classic in its best, you'll never see this game at any big fighting game competitions, but I can bet you wont find a person who will say this game is bad, It does its job being entertaining, but more serious fighting game fans will most likely scoff at it for competitive reasons. The game is worth picking up and playing and is a great game to play with a group of friends, kicking each others tail and talking trash.

Lunar: The Silver Star 08-28-16 08:02 PM

Lunar is a great classic
Lunar puts you into the role of Alex, A young man who grew up listening to stories about ancient heroes and adventures, who wants to go off and have his own adventures some day. Living in a sleepy little village, not much happens until one of your friends asks you to join him on an expedition to some nearby caves. The two go, and start a quest much larger then they had anticipated with Luna, a young singer from the village.
This title has all the makings of a great classic game, good music and effects, A compelling story with a deep plot, a fun combat system, and extra little bonuses that make you want to discover all that the game has to offer. The story itself is well written and fun, sometimes humorous, sometimes sad, you'll find yourself invested into the characters and you'll get that warm feeling when your hero does something big. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll want to keep fighting till the very end.
This is the original edition of the game. They later released "Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete" with even more content, re mastered music and graphics, and full voice acting. Both games are amazing. And I highly recommend this game if you're looking for a long game to invest your time into.
Graphics 8) The graphics in this game are great from the era, and the game features animated cut scenes with great voice acting. The monsters are colorful and unique, and you can make out a lot of small details, Great for a Sega Saturn game
Sound 10) This games soundtrack is phenomenal, featuring songs with full lyrics and great ambient music. The Sound effects are very on the spot for the era. and feel like they belong with the game perfectly
Addictiveness 9 ) The games story and engaging characters make you want to play. Not only do they make you want to play, they make you want to continue playing for both the exciting story, and the fun characters with silly jokes.
Depth 9) The games huge. Hours of g... Read the rest of this Review

Review for Tails of Phantasia
This game is a port of the classic game of the same name for the SNES. This game broke the mold, being the first in a now long line of \"action RPG\'s\" Allowing you to completely control your character in random battles. The visual and sound aspects are great for a game as old as this, even Including almost unheard of voice acting. The game has a few drawbacks, The battle system, although revolutionary was still laggy, leaving you open after standard attacks. Skills helped balance it out later. The characters are colorful and come in all different styles, From a tomboy to a master swordsman. This game is worth a go if you have ever played a tales game. Even if you haven\'t I suggest you at least giving it a go. 9/10
