Ok so i got a ps3 slim yesterday and went and got resistance fall of man (first one), and i was wondering what some other good games are. I already have gta4 for my 360 and modern warfare 2 on my pc so no need to recommend those (but i plan to get modern warfare 2 for my ps3 cus it doesn't run all that well on my pc). Here are the games i am thinking about getting God of war 3,God of War 1 nad 2 remakes for ps3,Infamous,Final Fantasy XIII, and MAG. Does anyone have any comments on these games or any other games they would like to recommend (PSN games are good too but please no Playstation 1 games as i use EPSXE for those).

Don't get MAG, all reviews say it sucks

I recommend Heavy Rain, Demon Souls, Arkham Asylum, inFamous, and Uncharted 2.

I have heard of heavy rain (that's the one that's like your solving a crime and if one person gets killed you continue playing as another character right?) it sounds interesting i might look into that one when i get some money.

If your a Sonic fan, you should buy the recent ones like Sonic and the Black Knight, or Sonic Unleashed, they look pretty good

If not that and if you maybe a more up for violence, I think Bioshock 2 could suit ya well.

Beautiful Katamari(It make look stupid but trust me that is the most addicting game you'll ever play...I think they hypnotize you with the colors lol)
Fallout 3

i like mgs4 (ive played it before) and fallout 3 interests me.

If you've ever played Fable it's sort of like that but set in a post apocalyptic setting. It's very interactive.

yeah that's kind of like what i heard only what i heard was it's like oblivion with guns.

It all depends on what kind of genre you like. I don't really like shooting games, and I don't have many games for my ps3. I have the game folklore though, and it's pretty fun if you like collecting things from enemies and upgrading souls.

thanks for your guys' opinions, i downloaded heavy rain demo and i like it, but i am going to try and get infamous next month, if you guys have more suggestions please do tell me.

Uncharted 2 is the best, hands down. its a good challenge, has plenty of game time, and you will just downright love it!

Get Demon Souls...but only get it if you dont get frustrated from dying, this game will have you guy dropping like flies.

LittleBigPlanet is amazing, definitely get that one.
Other good ones are Batman: Arkham Asylum, definitely Uncharted 2: Among Theives, Ratchet and Clank Futures: A Crack in Time, and Bioshock 1 or 2.

I don't have a lot of PS3 games, but the ones i think are good are Sonic unleashed, Lego star wars, Lego Indiana Jones and batman arkham asylum. the one i think is the best is batman.

MAG sucks, here's a couple I thought were good:

go for fallout 3 its a little slow at first but once you get going it is the best. and it has great replay value. its the best rpg ive played ever.

the first resistance pails in comparison the resistance 2 so i recomend that you buy it if you like the first at all. If you are into fighting games then i recomend soul calibur 4. That game rocks. GTA 4, I think, is a complete waist of money, the story kinda sucked and the ending is more than abrupt. Very dissapointed in that game. If you have incredible cordination skills, then i say the sonic games will put them to the test. those games can be a bit frustrating at times. if you are looking for RPG, Then i recomend Elder scrolls IV Oblivion. The game take roaming to a new level. Also, make sure that if you get this that you get the game of the year edition because it contains the expansion. If you are into racing games then check out Grand turismo 5 for the most realistic graphics and widest selection of cars. i also like need for speed carbon and need for speed pro street. Cabon is cool for roaming and police chases and pro street is need for speed in more of a realistic sense with organized competitions. Last but not least i recomend guitar hero(world tour) and rock band if your interested in jamming out with fake equipment. The band games are great with persons with coordinated friends and take time to master. also the playstation store has tons of songs that can be purchased individually or by sets. foreasier viewing here's a list of the games ive recomended.

I would definitely agree with this list here. Demon Souls is a great hardcore game if you are looking for something with a massive challenge. It has a steep difficulty but can be replayed multiple times with different character setups.
