The Best Game Ever!Overall - 10:
Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition is a sandbox game where you can do anything (almost), and it is probably one of the best games you'll find on the Xbox 360 Marketplace. In this game, you can explore the world and build structures to protect yourself from the vicious monsters that come out at night. As you move along in this game, you can also mine for ores, craft tools and blocks, build awesome structures, and roam the biomes in search of generated structures (Like Villages, Strongholds, Dungeons, and more!).
Graphics - 10:
Some people hate Minecraft's graphics because the game is made of blocks, but I think Minecraft's graphics are great! You can sit atop a mountain whilst watching a beautiful sunset. Not many other games let you do that. Also, the block textures (Though only 16 by 16) are very detailed.
Sound - 10:
Minecraft also has amazing sound/music. The in-game music is very calm and relaxing, fitting in with the game's beautiful scenery (If you happen to be on peaceful, that is). There are also many music discs that play great songs (Well, some of them, not so much), and the game's sounds are very realistic.
Addictiveness - 10:
Will I be likely to play this again? Of course I will! Even though I have Minecraft on the PC, the Xbox version lags less (For me, at least) and it's easier to join a server with some of my good friends. Also, the tutorial world is awesome and the Ender Dragon battle is amplified on the Xbox version (He spews acid and fire charges).
Depth - 10:
Need I say more? Minecraft, even on other systems, is basically INFINITE. If you run out of space on one world (Which is unlikely because the worlds are about 860 by 860), you can just start another. You can build anything and the game never ends! (Besides 'The End', which you can even explore the world after). There is so much to do!
Difficulty - 7:
Minecraft is pretty hard. There are many monsters that you have to fight off while also making sure you don't get too hungry. If you have more than one 'Corn Dog' missing from your hunger bar, you will not regain health naturally. If you die, you will lose all of your stuff and respawn where you originally spawned or next to the last bed you slept in (If you happened to have slept in one). You can die by falling, getting killed, burning, being crushed by sand or gravel, being blown up, running into a cactus, suffocating, drowning, and many more.
Wrap Up:
To wrap this review up, if you like sandbox construction games, such as Scribblenauts, Roblox, and Terraria, you should get Minecraft. If you do not have an Xbox 360, you can get it on the PC, PS3, and phones/tablets. It will also be coming to Xbox One, PS4, and PS Vita (Sadly, there is no news about Minecraft coming to Nintendo consoles D:).
So, that's it for my review. I hope you enjoyed it. I will see you later, so bye!
