Pokemon Saga DarkViolet bry25
Differences noticed between DarkViolet and Leaf Green/Fire Red
-Pokémon In the game appear as they did in Emerald not in Fire Red (the actual way the Pokémon looks)
-Much better graphics. Things were cranked up several notches between this game and Fire Red/ Leaf Green
-Two Rivals, "Gary" who is named Green (in my game he was automatically named that along with the girl.) and then a the girl character, or boy character depending on who you picked as your character, is named Blue.
-Different dialog that adds to the story and changes the story and enhances it- modern dialog that is well done
-Elite Four (as viewed from the snapshot) is the Elite Four from the Emerald Version Game
-The landscape and grass is changed for the better along with buildings and their interior
-several minor changes that accumulate to make the game a very well done re-make of Fire Red/ Leaf Green
Description of the Game
As usual your boy or girl is finally allowed to begin their oh-so-anticipated Pokémon journey. You get your choice of a charmander, squirtle, or bulbasaur and then your off to embark on your quest. What is this quest you ask? Well, you need to become the Pokémon Champion of the Kanto region. To do that you need to collect badges and capture as many Pokémon as you can and train some to battle! Badges are obtained when you beat Gym Leaders who specialize in a certain type of Pokémon. Along the way you battle your rivals and bad guys and other trainers. Once you finally obtain all 8 badges you are allowed to move on to challenge the Pokémon League, which is the toughest bunch of trainers in the region. The Pokémon League consists of the Elite Four and the current Pokémon Champion. You'll need to train really hard to beat them. The hardest part about the Pokémon League is that you need to beat all 5 tough trainers in a row! Once you can accomplish that then you've beaten the story mode! But your Pokémon Journey doesn't end there...
What I Think of the Game
I was never a huge fan of Fire Red and Leaf Green myself. I have beaten Fire Red back in the past week so I really wasn't up to doing it all over again. It isn't a bad game though don't get me wrong. Those of you who like the Kanto region and like Fire Red and Leaf Green will love this game. The hack is a remake of the game but it uses current graphics to enhance your gameplay greatly and new dialogue and new segments are added to the story to make a great game. I would recommend this game to those of you wanting to play Fire Red or Leaf Green or anyone who likes Pokémon should at least give it a try. As for myself I didn't play too long but I played enough to observe the game and know that it is well made.
