Wow, what a first boss. Dude, why give Bolt/Thunder to the Whelk's shell when you could just reassign Megavolt to be used both on its turn and as a counter? Or better yet, make the shell able to act even while Ymir's head is out.

not to mention if you enjoy leveling up this will offer you a very good challenge instead of just destroying everything and making the game to easy

you dont need cheats and although it is much harder because the enemies utilize there stronger attacks the rewards are different and greater

The only difference I found in this game was that the battles are a bit tougher...seems like you would need cheats to get by...
